Excellent Easter experience. I made a reservation "in the dark" without knowing the place and relying only on the reviews. And I have to say that I was absolutely rewarded. The courtesy of the owners and the willingness to change the menu even though it was the Easter one really impressed me. The quality of the dishes was truly the "icing on the cake". Absolutely recommended for families too. The only difficulty is parking, but absolutely secondary.....thanks for the great experience....

Ci siamo fermati qui a mangiare dopo una visita a subiaco e al sacro speco. Piacevole scoperta. Attività a conduzione familiare con buona cucina casereccia. Ottimi primi e staff molto cordiale. Prezzi nella norma.

Excellent restaurant. The pasta was delicious and the meat (baked veal) fantastic. There were 3 of us and my friends also really enjoyed their dishes. I will definitely return when I'm in these parts 🖤

Excellent service and quality food. I highly recommend the pappardelle with wild boar ragù and the pork shank. The service and location were also excellent

In gita di gruppo a Subiaco abbiamo prenotato da Checchina. Gentilezza e cordialità già dai primi contatti. Cibo servizio e prezzo ottimo. Da consigliare e tornarci se in zona.

Siamo andati con degli amici e le nostre 3 bambine un sabato sera. L'ambiente carino, piccolo riservato, l'estate aprono anche il fuori, sicuramente il personale molto gentile. Dall'antipasto ci aspettavamo un po' più di sapori locali. I primi buoni, pappardelle al cinghiale e tagliolini funghi porcini e asparagi consigliati. I dolci sono da migliorare, punterei su qualcosa di fatto in casa che è sempre molto apprezzato!

In gita di gruppo ieri a Subiaco abbiamo prenotato da Checchina e già dai contatti abbiamo constatato la gentilezza e cordialità. Cibo ottimo servizio eccellente e prezzo ottimo. Da consigliare e tornarci se in zona.

24/03/2024: I recommend it... even if it's a little far away the food is excellent... it's really worth it!!!
03/03/2024: At the gates of Lariano along the main road there is this restaurant that I chose for a dinner out of town with a friend. Very beautiful structure from the outside and very large and welcoming inside with two large rooms in which you can taste their delicious dishes... we ordered a steak (about 600g) and a slice obviously with MUSHROOMS, two side dishes, a portion of TRIPE ROMAN-STYLE (EXCELLENT) a salt and rosemary focaccia which at the end, having almost half of it left over, I asked the waitress (VERY KIND!!!) if it was possible to spread a bit of NUTELLA on it...others would have immediately said NO to possibly soak 2 desserts and another 10...15 euros to spend....while she, with a smile, IMMEDIATELY took the focaccia and brought it back with garnish!!! I felt it was MANDATORY TO LEAVE HER A TIP!!! In the end, with 1 liter of wine... water... 4 bitters and coffee we spent 75 euros... more than justified by portions and QUALITY ABOVE ALL. I will be back very soon
