09/08/2025: We discovered it through TheFork, where I recommend discounts of up to 50%. The strong points are certainly the sophisticated combinations, but ultimately, we didn't notice any extraordinary flavors. The restaurant is minimal, clean, and tidy. Prices without TheFork discount are perhaps a bit high (and I don't know how they could break even if they were offering the same dishes at 50% off). The aperitif option is definitely worth trying; maybe next time.

13/06/2025: Consigliatoci da amici romani, abbiamo deciso di prenotare su stasera un tavolo per una cena con bambini. Ambiente informale, ma personale molto gentile e alla mano. Proposte di menù interessanti. Antipasti davvero ottimi e primi da leccarsi i baffi... o fare la scarpetta col pane, come ha fatto mio figlio! 😅 Prezzi onestissimi. Se fate un salto ad Ariccia, fermatevi qui, non ve ne pentirete!

26/10/2025: Fantastic food. The pork shank with potatoes was phenomenal. The chef was very friendly and the service was excellent. We'll be back next year; it will become our go-to place.

19/10/2025: I was deeply disappointed with this place. From the moment I entered, the place was dirty and neglected, with visibly unclean utensils and—even worse—the presence of crickets and cockroaches inside. There was no paper or digital menu, and the dishes were offered verbally, without any indication of prices. This created a lot of confusion, especially when it came to the bill: the final price was decidedly high and it was unclear what we were actually paying. Furthermore, the bottle of water we were served was dirty, adding to the overall feeling of poor hygiene. The food was decent, but certainly not enough to make up for all the other serious shortcomings. Finally, the place doesn't have a POS terminal, so payment is cash only—a piece of information that would have been appropriate to communicate right away. In short, a very negative experience from every perspective. I do not recommend it.

10/07/2025: A restaurant serving good food, without any particular culinary style, offering first courses, second courses, and pizzas, with some offerings a little more unique than others. Fast and friendly service, reasonable prices, and a convenient location on a busy road with parking. It presents itself more as a function room than a restaurant, with old-fashioned decor but well-maintained and clean. Recommended if you're in a busy area, but also suitable for large groups.

01/11/2025: I'll start by saying I'm giving it 1 star because I can't give it 0. I booked a table for 5 people (including a child) at 2:00 PM. We arrived at 1:45 PM, a little early, and the waitress seated us. The waitress came to take our order, and one of us wanted to wait to order the second course. So the waitress decided to go and take other orders and leave ours behind. After 50 minutes, nothing had arrived at the table! Not even the bread, which we requested after 50 minutes, since they charge €2.50 per person for service! When we pointed out that after almost an hour, nothing had arrived (the appetizers were 2 tartares, which were raw, and the child's pasta with tomato sauce), the waitress replied that it was our fault because we hadn't ordered the second course. What if I wanted to wait and wait to order the second course? That's not an option in this restaurant! I'll add that I've never written reviews because I work in this environment and have a lot of respect for the people who work there, but the rudeness reached a high level in this case, and it's unacceptable. Furthermore, the girl was in charge of the restaurant, the bar, and I think even the kitchen, since she disappeared from the dining room for over 10 minutes, leaving customers "abandoned." If anyone needed water, she wouldn't have been able to ask for it. Furthermore, the restaurant only had 15 seats, so not a huge amount of work! And one table had even finished! Really absurd.

25/10/2025: We ate at this welcoming and beautifully decorated restaurant; the owner is incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. The food was all delicious. The meat, including the tartare, was a true delight, not to mention the starters and side dishes. In short, for anyone in the area, it's a must-try. You won't regret it.

22/04/2025: This year I accidentally discovered that for Easter both savory and sweet dishes were available, all traditional, cheese cake and casatiello, colomba and pastiera... and it was all delicious and a great success... I only knew them for the Sunday mignons mostly, but they know how to do so much more!!!!

10/09/2025: No... absolutely not... WE'RE NOT GOOD!!! Well... I'll start by saying that the food is good, but not great. The dishes aren't as generous as they should be... and yes, because if you charge me 18 euros for spaghetti with clams... the clams should be there, and the pasta shouldn't be bland and overcooked... the parsley should be chopped with garlic, not just a sprig of parsley for show, AND WITHOUT GARLIC (otherwise I'll eat garlic and oil). The seafood appetizer... 15 euros... frankly, if you bring me a one-square-meter white plate and put two things on it... well, even if they're good... it sounds like a joke to me!!! Let's talk about the timing: we sat down at 12:30 and left the table at 2:45!!! (for two people) CRAZY!!! Stop!!! Wait a minute... let's be clear, you can put up all the signs you want explaining that the wait times are longer than usual since you're eating express, but it seemed a bit excessive to me!!! Also because if you organize yourselves so that those who arrive eat in order of arrival... you can't let me pass a table of 10 people and a table of 6 because then you're kidding me!!!! Moreover, the lady apologized several times... but in the end she wanted the full 93 euros and without batting an eyelid!!! Gentlemen, for a seafood appetizer, two first courses (which didn't arrive together but 20 minutes apart!!!), for two fish main courses, two side dishes, water, and two coffees, 93 euros is for what we ate and how we ate (the atmosphere is hot because it's a plastic-covered veranda) and considering the absurd waiting times. IT'S AN EXAGGERATION!!!! And then these signs... they seem more like threats than anything else. Basically, you can't complain too much because they warned you!!! Anyway, given the situation, you decide if you want to go through all this just to eat Osteria dishes passed off as fine dining... Don't stop at this dive, go further down to the square where you eat better and spend less... 😉 Well, you have to book a week or two in advance, but it's worth it, believe me!!!! Canavacciuolo will definitely keep this in mind for the show NIGHTMARE KITCHENS!!!! P.S.: To be honest, dear owners, we've already been to your place before, and without a reservation, it was August 15th... so let's put our heads down too... and since we suffered the same stress and disappointment last time, I wouldn't call it a bad day, but a little habit!!! You're right, you continue to favor your friends, letting them go first!!! Other customers also comment!!! We didn't tell her anything there because, as other customers who complained about the same misfortunes as us wrote, you treated them rudely. And given the bad day we'd already had, we didn't want to ruin the ordeal further. My wife also wrote the review because, if she doesn't know, the patriarchy is long gone! Have a good life, everyone! 19/10/2025: Excellent food and friendly staff. The waiter, Franco was a star. I visited twice with my Wife and disabled Stepson and was treated very well. Lovely place for an afternoon drink in the sun or an evening meal.
