05/05/2026: I happened to stop by with my family on my way back from Croatia. I have to say we ate some good fish at a fair price. Coming from someone who isn't particularly fond of fish, that's saying a lot.
22/04/2026: A couple of friends took me there because they'd heard good things about it. From now on, I'll be one of those who'll happily spread the word because I ate so, so well, and it was wonderful (even the spring weather helped). The spaghetti with clams was among the best I've ever had. Fresh fish!! Well cooked... appetizers, first courses, and second courses... everything we ordered truly delighted our palates. The pairings were well recommended (a delicious Istrian Malvasia). The price was fair... you pay for the quality. The best thing, however, is the sense of calm, expertise, and serenity the host manages to convey.

Really great service.
The pretzels were delicious. Very generous portions.
Nice place, easy to find, just steps from Trieste airport. We stopped for dinner upon arrival and before leaving.

09/03/2026: A beautiful environment, it takes me back in time
13/12/2025: I haven't tried anything; I can only comment on the location. The bar is rustic and charming. The place is quiet. There's seating, a large play area for children with swings, and even a basketball court. A very pleasant place to grab a few beers or grab a sandwich.

Even in autumn, it's always a pleasure.
The braided bread is excellent.
An interesting selection of teas, chocolates, and specialty products...to be discovered.
The flavors vary with the season!
27/04/2026: Good evening, I just wanted to tell you what happened to me yesterday morning. First of all, I'm a regular customer. I'll tell you how I was treated by one of the owners. I was with my wife or a consumer with coffee and cake and then I asked the waitress about the bathroom. In all these years I've never gone to the bathroom, there was a huge spiderweb. Too bad I didn't take a photo to show you how disgusting it was. In the meantime, I take the key back but I don't say anything because there were people there. But a moment later, when I went to pay, I just told her, to be polite, because if they come for an inspection, they'll fine her badly. She immediately told me that the spider makes the spiderwebs in one night and then she told me that they haven't cleaned for three weeks, they do it every day, and that she was going to look, turn her back on me and go to the kitchen. Not very serious towards a customer who brings you a living to get by like other customers. You've understood after more than ten years that I've been going there. Too bad I won't go there anymore, for sure, and I won't give them any more good publicity. How I was treated. Good evening.

02/04/2026: My traveling friends sometimes you get lucky and find a dining establishment that provides a simple place with exceptional food quality. This place fits that definition. The vegetable risotto, a home run. My spouse had the pasta ragu, home run. The grilled sausage and potato salad, yeah - exceptional. If you are in the area this is definitely a place to visit. The restaurant decor is quite rustic and simple, but the quality of cuisine is very high.. Check out the pics! Understanding that you'll never get the sense of the flavor or the experience.

19/03/2025: Era un po' che non ci andavo, visto che non vivo più a Ronchi. Sono tornata a pranzo (è aperto solo per pranzo, e prenotate senno' non trovate posto) una domenica, e ho trovato la stessa calorosa atmosfera, cibo sempre buono, vino invece stavolta no, ma io amo il bianco e a sto giro si beveva rosso. Simpatia dei camerieri voto 10, veloci, bravi. Il caffè fatto con la moka e servito nelle tazzine della nonna, una chicca !
16/12/2024: Davvvero tutto molto buono, gli gniocchi sembravano come quelli che faceva mia nonna, uno spettacolo. Il resto tanto di capello tutto ottimo

21/04/2025: In data odierna siamo stati a pranzo con amici,i piatti presentabili, ma le porzioni scarsissime visto che è un agriturismo e non un ristorante di degustazioni,non ci torniamo più delusi, inoltre alla mia osservazione dei piatti la proprietà mi ha risposto in malo modo....
15/03/2025: Davvero tutto perfetto per la mia festa di pensionamento!Cibo ottimo, personale di sala molto professionale..Davvero una splendida serata ! Complimenti al titolare attento ad ogni dettaglio!!! Alla prossima!!!!
