We stopped by on our way back from a trip to Puglia. We had a great time and will be back.

The place is nice and quiet. The rooms are romantic, but you can't leave the shelf in the shower taped to the wall. The room had a rather dirty bathmat, and even the cups left for herbal teas were only rinsed with water. It's a shame, because the place deserves it. A little attention to detail would make everything much more beautiful.

Overall, a very positive experience. The current menu offers very good, carefully prepared dishes, with attentive and truly friendly service. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, ideal for a pleasant dinner. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. The only area for improvement: the guest bathrooms were not very clean, with dust and cobwebs.

Two years ago I stayed here for one night, escaping the city for some peace and quiet. I loved the suite room; I love the old Romagna furniture. The dinner was amazing; everything was delicious. I returned two weeks ago for the Sant'Arcangelo market. I ate divinely. This time we even had our dog, who was so happy at our table. We'll be back again and again and again.

La Piadineria alla scalinata

25/04/2026: A little gem right at the foot of the steps. Sitting at the outdoor tables and enjoying the view of the heart of the town is an experience not to be missed. Authentic piadina romagnola, thin as per local tradition and filled with the freshest ingredients. I highly recommend the one with squacquerone cheese, caramelized figs, and prosciutto. The atmosphere is magical, perfect for a quick stop before climbing up to the upper town. Fair prices and very friendly staff. A must-see in Santarcangelo!

20/12/2025: Fresh and delicious food. Excellent quality of raw fish, and the grilled turbot and gratin dishes are equally as good. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
12/10/2025: The restaurant is located in a very beautiful and welcoming spot, well furnished, it feels like being in a mountain shack from the warmth it transmits and instead we are at the seaside, the owners welcomed us very well, the dishes are super delicious and everything is really very well taken care of, I highly recommend it
