05/12/2024: We were today in this Osteria immersed in the Reggio countryside, the cuisine was excellent, quality raw materials treated with simplicity, in line with the concept of the Osteria, with a nod to more "elegant" restaurants, the service was discreet and kind, the location was deliberately rural, perhaps it would require a little more attention, a flaw is the chair which in my opinion is a little uncomfortable, but ultimately it recalls the surrounding style.
They also have a summer one which in my opinion gives emotions in the evening.
The price is absolutely in line with the current market, I would say very honest considering the quality of the food.
Definitely worth trying!

17/11/2024: Una delusione stando alle recensioni….del territorio non abbiamo trovato nulla, Lambrusco a parte. Peccato perché ci siamo cascati ! E poi che dire…. I prezzi praticati non sono quelli che appaiono pubblicizzati! Succede sempre più spesso. Rapporto qualità prezzo non ci siamo…. 10,00 euro buffet con pizzette fredde….
09/11/2024: This osteria was full with families having a typical emilian night out. Delicious lambrusco with home made tortelli followed by best meat ever. If you manage have a plate of antipasti from the extensive buffet. Do book it is always full

Not excellent food, although the ingredients are probably of high quality. Ridiculous portions.

21/11/2024: Nice, simple place, very nice exterior. We ate very well, very good and not greasy dumpling, excellent and plentiful cured meats. Great variety of tortelli, we tasted 4 types and they were all delicious, the ones with Tropea onion were the best. The pork cheek is also excellent. Trifle as per tradition, very good and plentiful. Being a farmhouse the menu varies depending on the season. Excellent value for money.

I came back with pleasure, but I had to stay outside because the distorted bass from the terrible speakers they foisted on you is very unpleasant...
Boy, do that! Bainait deserves much better!

25/08/2024: Hello! A long, long time ago I was born in this sweet, Italian town of MONTECCHIO - and on this trip just last week, we returned with our children. I was so proud to show off where I was born, and also take the family to a beautiful spot for some incredible service, outstanding food and drink and just a place we will certainly be going back to. Loved the people there, the atmosphere and the ability to take some sweets to go for some of our family we were visiting later was really amazing. Highly recommended!
