28/08/2025: Rude and needlessly mocking the customer (the one who leaves them the money, by the way), one of the partners in particular. They're living off the reputation of the old management, which they're gradually ruining, given that it's clear they don't know how to deal with customers and the public. Just go to any other beach club next door and it's a whole different story: Professionals. It's simple naivety, but it's ruining your business (it takes the foresight to look beyond the current season). Too bad, I don't recommend it, because I can't find a beach club with worse staff on the seafront.

19/08/2025: We went for the day, the food was very good, it was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, we had a great time, we've been going to the previous management for years, probably number 175 brings good luck, a small point, 2 cold coffees at the counter cost €12 I think... very much!! Thanks anyway, we'll be back.

12/10/2025: I'm giving it only one star because this is a classic establishment that overcrowds tables and can't handle them. Four of us sat down, and after about 45 minutes a pizza arrived. Another hour passed, and nothing else arrived. If they hadn't made us pay in advance, we would have left. Waiting an hour and a half for food is unacceptable. If the kitchen can't handle that many orders, put fewer covers on the table and don't be so greedy!

12/10/2025: Terrible review because we waited two hours for a sausage pizza. Service was also slow, as my chicken bites arrived after an hour, but by the time I'd digested my meal, my boyfriend's pizza hadn't arrived yet. Terrible service indeed. Not recommended unless you have a lot of time to waste.

29/08/2025: Average food! Prices beyond any logic! Desserts 9-10 euros 🤣🤣🤣! Not even if it were a Michelin-starred restaurant in New York!

12/05/2025: Weg van de drukte vonden we deze parel voor onze lunch. We werden vriendelijk onthaald door de ober met Italiaanse spontaniteit, we waren de eerste klanten en namen plaats aan een tafeltje buiten. We kozen voor de de keuzemenu van de chef a rato van 75€ voor 7-gangen. Wat we allemaal op,ons bord kregen is moeilijk te beschrijven, maar telkens was het een wauw-moment. Ik heb zelden dergelijke gebalanceerde smaken geproefd, van de wijn tot de koffie was het werkelijk af. Dank je wel chef dat je ons zo verwende.

30/03/2025: Alla domanda…cosa ti ha colpito di questa cena?….…la esagerata supponenza del responsabile quasi a rasentare la maleducazione…e la totale mancanza di empatia verso i clienti….oltre al vociare dei camerieri in piedi intorno al tavolo con gli occhi persi nel vuoto che,ad alta voce, chiedono al cliente disorientato a chi sia da consegnare il piatto che hanno appena preso in cucina…….Possibile che questo malcelato desiderio di imitare un ristorante stellato….non faccia riflettere sulla indispensabile necessità di gestire in modo diversa,ma molto più professionale, la comanda ?

05/10/2025: A pleasant surprise, at Cicala the fish is fresh and everything is made to order, the location is beautiful, I recommend it!

21/09/2025: The friendly and smiling staff makes you forget the wait times... generous and tasty portions, Neapolitan pizza with quality ingredients and decidedly excellent prices!

12/10/2025: An hour wait for the appetizer and 30 minutes for the main course. Out of four identical first courses, one arrived much later, causing everyone else's dishes to cool. Courtesy among the wait staff is also not common.

12/10/2025: As soon as we were seated, we were informed that there would be a wait of at least an hour for any choice, from appetizers to first courses to main courses. This had not been reported when we made our reservation, which had been made an hour earlier. Once seated and uncomfortable with the news, we decided to order, and after 50 minutes, the appetizer arrived. We ordered four first courses with the same toppings, and yet one of the four arrived significantly late. The porcini cream soup didn't even smell like mushrooms. The first course was eaten cold due to the wait. If you add to this the fact that the waiter threw the dishes like Frisbees, the result was disastrous.

06/09/2025: Ten minutes at the counter to get cigarettes, with the bartender walking past you and chatting with other customers. There's a lot of room for improvement.

12/10/2025: We went to the restaurant for lunch and when we ordered, we were told that the pizzas and some other dishes on the menu were unavailable, so we ordered four tagliate and a lasagna. After almost an hour of waiting, the lasagna (clearly a packaged lasagna) and the four tagliate arrived. When the tagliate arrived, we immediately realized that the meat in all the dishes was predominantly fatty, and the tagliate seemed like a jumble of cold pieces of meat, unevenly cooked, not what we had requested. One of us had the courage to send the dish back because the appearance of the dish was decidedly embarrassing. The waiter, after taking it back to the kitchen, returned to the table saying that it was not possible to replace the dish as the meat was no longer available. The side vegetables were sparse, burnt, and dry. I really don't think I'll ever return to this restaurant.

21/09/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but I'm happy to do so if it's worth it. On the recommendation of the B&B owner, we chose this place for a family dinner with high expectations, especially for the pizza, as recommended. Expectations were far exceeded. The pizzas were large and delicious, with plenty of toppings, and the price was more than fair, almost low for a tourist spot. The fried eggplant pizza with sun-dried tomatoes and pesto was excellent. The linguina with tomato and stracciatella was excellent (and my dad is usually a big critic). Highly recommended.

11/06/2025: Review edit Absolutely failed. We had a terrible night. The food was definitely spoiled, the cleaning is a no-go... Better to go elsewhere. I absolutely do not recommend. Spend your money in better locations. What a rip-off! 🤬

11/11/2025: The place is on the square, the music is wonderful. The service is good, maybe the waiters could be a little more smiling. The cookies are perfect.
