05/01/2026: The restaurant, family-run for generations, is charming and welcoming. The owner walked around the tables to ask how lunch was going, and you could clearly sense her attention to detail and passion for the products on offer.
We ordered a cured meats appetizer, which was decent but not particularly noteworthy, while the selection of vegetables and their giardiniera were truly excellent: you could taste they were prepared with their own produce.
For starters, we chose a trio of traditional dishes—pisarei e fasò, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, and gnocchi with red squash and walnuts—all very good and well-executed.
The bill was also more than fair for the amount we ate. Overall, a good experience, in a rustic, authentic, and homey atmosphere.

13/12/2025: Christmas dinner with the Friends of the Red Cross. Beyond the excellent dishes, we appreciated the care with which the room was decorated for us: the warmth and attention to detail that created a festive atmosphere that made our evening wonderful. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

The staff is attentive and friendly.
The ambiance, with fireplaces in many rooms, is very beautiful.
The only thing I would say to the owners is to have the chimney draft checked, because there's a bit too much smoke in the rooms.

18/12/2025: This restaurant is insane! I've lived in the Piacenza area for 35 years, and I can finally say I've found my favorite restaurant! It's hard to describe the feeling you get when you walk into Bel Respiro. You immediately feel like you're part of their family. The food is refined and impeccable, centered around a wood-fired oven and grill, using recycled ingredients. I ate breasts for the first time, and they were a surprise.
You leave the restaurant with new friends and a second family.

19/10/2025: A charming, well-kept, and welcoming place. The same goes for the lady who welcomed us. The only downside is the lack of a POS terminal, but we resolved this with an instant bank transfer. 😊
29/08/2025: Overpriced service and small portions.
We spoke with the owner about organizing a snack to celebrate a ceremony. Our guests would be around 35-40.
A buffet was planned, consisting of an appetizer and a first course, both of which were extremely small in quantity for the number of people and the agreed-upon price. Furthermore, the risotto was undercooked: al dente is fine, but this was undercooked, in my opinion!
As expected, the restaurant would also prepare a cake for us.
The cake was beautiful, but it was a shame the owner cut it into really small pieces. Everything had been planned so she could keep the remainder (which she did because we forgot to ask for it).
The location is very beautiful and quaint.

07/05/2025: Servizio pessimo (sarà perché come ha detto il nostro cameriere non sono paghi un c), 1 ora e passa per essere serviti. I piatti sono arrivati tutti sfalzati (io ho mangiato un ora prima degli altri!).
La qualità del cibo sicuramente al di sotto della media. Non consigliato.
Nemmeno a dirlo, scontrino fiscale non ci è stato chiaramente fatto….
