29/03/2025: Il locale è luminoso ed elegante ma non mette soggezione e con Il personale di sala professionale e sorridente, l’accoglienza è ottima. Il menù presenta proposte innovative ma senza quegli eccessi che talvolta rischiano di essere incomprensibili. Viene servita un’ottima focaccia ad accompagnare un amuse-bouche di salmone, offerto e molto delicato Il baccalà mantecato su patate carbone e peperoni dolci proposto come antipasto è un gran piatto, delizioso. I manfettini del marinaio sono una proposta originale e radicata nella tradizione, e precedono un altrettanto ottimo polpo alla brace. Molto interessanti i dessert, fra i quali il latte brûlé. Caffè servito con piccola pasticceria offerta. Tutto ottimo e raffinato sia come sapori che come impiattamento. In cucina lo chef Carlo ed in sala la sig.ra Anna che saluto e ringrazio ancora. Il conto è corretto considerando il livello del locale e la qualità dell’offerta. Un’ottima esperienza, da ripetere.

08/09/2024: A recommendation!! The location in the middle of nature, on the beach is great - even if you only see the sea when you go up a few stairs. Pizza was good, the grilled fish too, service friendly. The prices are very cheap!!

24/03/2025: A wonderful discovery I often eat in Ostia (at the usual place to avoid making mistakes) this time a friend of mine invited me to this restaurant that I didn't know was a wonderful surprise, fast service, beautiful location on the sea, super good and abundant dishes. Prices within the norm of the place we will definitely return

19/01/2025: Had a mobile home with a dog.. The mobile home is too expensive in my opinion.. were in the suburbs for 2 weeks.. Shower with mold, cobwebs on the wooden ceiling. And unfortunately the dog shower and the dog walk were already closed last week. Otherwise a very nice campsite. Some of the staff were very annoyed. Great pizza and awesome ice cream. You can get to the sea by taking the train or walking for about 15 minutes.

27/08/2024: La Ciliegina è garanzia di qualità. La piadina è fatta al momento con farcitura assortite, hanno un menù con aalmeo 50 varietà di piadine e rotoli, disponibili anche nella versione dolce. Gli ingredienti freschi e abbondanti.

25/12/2024: The Ice Cream Café is very good, a "nice" bar that we discovered and tried last Sunday. Having arrived on site at 5.15pm almost by chance during our walk 🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏻‍♀️ through the streets of Lido di Volano (which also allowed us to admire 👀 the magnificent deer 🦌 of the pine forest 🌳), we entered and ordered immediately a couple of cappuccinos ☕️, a pastry with apples 🍎 and a rice pastry 🥧; the lady at the counter 👩🏻‍🦰 then served us everything via a tray that we independently brought to the table. After a while we then integrated our order with a tea 🫖 and another pastry, namely a fan partly covered in chocolate. Everything was certainly good 😋 and the atmosphere was pleasant given that the structure turns out to be a fairly popular meeting place. In fact, at the table next to us, a passionate 🔥 card game ♠️♥️♦️♣️ was taking place which reminded me of the bars/recreational clubs of the past. On the opposite side, however, another small group was stationed convivially 🍸🥂 in front of the counter. "Singular" was the manager 👩🏻‍🦰, who, when it was time to pay the bill, seemed to have disappeared. At that point, a nice and histrionic customer 👩🏻‍🦳 arrived at the counter explaining to us that the owner 👩🏻‍🦰 would sometimes be absent to look after three little dogs 🐕🐩🐕‍🦺; together we therefore consulted the price list 📋, displayed on the wall, trying to "interpret" the prices written in marker 🖍 (which had been corrected by hand ✍️🏻 but looked like hieroglyphics). At a certain point the manager 👩🏻‍🦰 returned and, without saying a word, allowed us to pay the total of 11 euros 💶, even giving us half a smile 🙂. The episode seemed frankly surreal to me but, ultimately, it made us have fun 😅. The role of the structure is strategic since it is the only bar in Lido di Volano present in the residential area (the others are all located at the beach establishments 🏖). Should the opportunity arise we will be back 👍🏻.
