02/09/2025: We had dinner the first night we arrived at the residence next door. The staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately I can't say the same about the food... well-presented but a bit bland, and the biggest flaw was the place being infested with mosquitoes. Not only did we spend the evening killing them, but I even found them on my plate from how many there were... I didn't have a great first evening. Personally, I don't think we'll be back.

22/08/2025: The place itself isn't bad, but I certainly wouldn't choose it again. We ordered four pizzas and, while waiting for them, asked for two portions of fries to share. The fries arrived almost raw, having been eaten out of hunger. The pizza is considered as thick as a piadina. So, if you like heartier pizzas, look elsewhere. Two of the pizzas we ordered were seafood ones. Having had excellent ones elsewhere, we decided to try them. Never was a bigger mistake. The fish was still in its shell on the pizza, which, once removed, left a paltry amount of toppings, which, on mine (a white pizza with mozzarella), took away all the mozzarella. They were certainly beautiful to look at, but in reality, they weren't mediocre. The other two pizzas were decent, certainly better than the two with fish. They brought bitters to the neighboring tables at the end of the meal, except for us. I wouldn't have drunk them, but the service should be the same for everyone. To top it off, once we got back, we saw we'd been charged for another bottle of water we hadn't ordered or drunk. €2.50 for a 1-liter bottle of water, unnecessarily charged. We didn't go back because we would have spent it on gas, and honestly, it wasn't worth it. The night after dinner, three out of four people at the dinner felt sick. I don't think it's a coincidence. I'm not giving 1 or 0 stars only because I tried a small portion of the menu.

16/08/2025: We ate here a week ago. A disaster. I booked over the phone and was served an hour later (and we even turned down some dishes because they weren't ready). I was told to check the menu on the website before booking, but once there, the prices were significantly higher than those on the website (published two months earlier). As for the quality of the food... I won't comment because I don't want to offend anyone. The lady who runs it probably needs a hand, given that I've seen customers (very annoyed by the wait times) and she can't handle them optimally. Don't expect table service. A disaster!

11/08/2025: The first impression doesn't inspire lunch: worn plastic tables facing the street, an empty display case. Then I discover that the owner is also the chef and cooks everything freshly. The fish menu: delicious spaghetti with clams (plenty) and excellent fried fish with chips. Water. Total: €15... super fair. The setting is a €1.50 cover charge, considering you eat on a disposable placemat and with plastic cutlery and cups (I would have opted for the €16 menu with no cover charge), but the four stars are well deserved.

09/12/2025: A cute place with lots of animals for the kids. The food is a bit lacking considering the prices they offer. I was shocked by the price of water: 0.75 cl €3.75 I wouldn't go back.

30/11/2025: The staff were quite rude. We ate reasonably well, but it was cold because the restaurant is only heated in the center. When we asked to change our table, they told us it was all booked, but no one showed up. I wouldn't go back.

31/10/2025: I went to this location to pick up a medium-sized surprise bag with the ToGoodToGo app. Very disappointed. It contained two bottles of organic juice and a bag of mini chocolate eggs. They don't seem to be end-of-day products as per the description and attached photo.

18/09/2025: Coffee can't be bad in Italy and I've always had a croissant in Italy so far. But the croissant crema I got with my coffee didn't even fly past the crema. A little cream on top for decoration and the rest is dry. The worst croissant in all of Italy in decades. And I'll just respond to the owner's response. I really thought and wrote a review for Central Bar. And a croissant crema is a croissant with "custard" everywhere in Italy, maybe not in your country, but everywhere else! As far as I know, I haven't written about a croissant with cream anywhere. If you don't know what a croissant crema looks like, go and see the café next door, La Piccola Pasticceria, they have delicious ones there

24/06/2025: Mi sono trovato malissimo: sono andato ad aprile e mi hanno messo in un tavolo di fronte alla cucina, quel giorno probabilmente c’è stato un problema alla cucina ma comunque è inaccettabile sentire le lamentele della capocuoca, anche perché essendo così vicino si sentiva tutto. Ci hanno chiesto cosa volevamo da mangiare 10 minuti dopo che avevamo già scelto, e li già ho capito che qualcosa non andava, dopo altri 10 minuti sono arrivati con l’acqua che mi chiedo cosa c’era di difficile a prenderla dal frigo e portarla. Il cibo è arrivato dopo 1 ora, neanche fosse un ristorante stellato. Alla fine il cibo era discreto ma non meritava tutto quel tempo. Di sicuro sono andato in un giorno sbagliato ma comunque consiglio di migliorare l’organizzazione.

21/06/2025: Abbiamo mangiato veramente benissimo: due antipasti, sarde in saor e carpaccio di gamberi rossi di mazara. Primo: strozzapreti con pesce spada, pomodorini secchi, menta e melanzane. Anche il dolce: nuvola di ricotta con miele e noci tritate sopra. Tutto buonissimo, ristorantino super consigliato!

03/03/2026: There were 6 of us. Management changed. The pizza was inedible! Out of 6 pizzas, 2 had hair inside, so there was little attention to hygiene. Since even in the kitchen, no one wears a cap, as is the rule. Furthermore, after the complaint, the waitress, instead of apologizing, started a row. Not to mention the wait times and the exorbitant prices. I strongly advise against it. There are better restaurants further down the road.

24/11/2025: La Sosta is a pleasant discovery! From the first visit you can feel that the team puts their heart into their work. The dishes are delicious, fresh, the portions are generous. The pizza has a thin, crispy dough, the fries are appetizing, and the hot dishes are homemade and aromatic. The service is fast, the staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy, suitable for both a quick lunch and a dinner with friends. It is noticeable that the new team is trying to improve the service and quality. We recommend this establishment to everyone who is looking for tasty and affordable food in a pleasant place. We will definitely come back!
