10/05/2026: Comacchio is very beautiful, and during this time of year on the weekend, finding a place to have lunch is a challenge. Almost resigned, as we headed to where we'd parked the car, we asked if we could stay for lunch. Even though it was 1:30 PM, not only was the service friendly and courteous, but we managed to finish lunch in a more than reasonable amount of time. Comacchio is famous for its eels, so we shared fried moeche (soft shells), delicious and tender, as an appetizer. Followed by spaghetti carbonara with smoked eel and strips of pasta with eel ragù. Everything was delicious, so much so that we could mop up the sauce. Generous portions. I highly recommend it.
09/05/2026: Excellent local dishes cooked with care. Excellent light and crispy mixed fried fish. The grilled octopus with fried leeks is noteworthy. The desserts are also excellent. Good quality/price. Only the atmosphere is a little cold, but only for our tastes, it's not an osteria.

16/08/2025: When we come to the beach, it's the first place we stop upon arriving in Portogaribaldi. We have a great breakfast here; the croissants are AMAZING, especially the mandarin one, which is my favorite. The girls are very kind and helpful.
19/07/2025: Good breakfasts, excellent pastries, excellent bomboloni, what can I say? Fantastic cakes.
The pastry chef accommodates every request and creates delicious, delicate cakes.

05/04/2026: We visited the restaurant on Easter Sunday, and while we understand it was a very busy day, the experience was unfortunately disappointing.
Waiting 2.5 hours for a dish is truly excessive and difficult to justify, even on a holiday.
Furthermore, at the end of the service, the lady at the cash register didn't even want to listen to our disappointment, which made the experience even worse.
Unfortunately, the dishes weren't up to par either: neither the quality nor the price were justified.
We regret leaving a negative review, but we feel it's important to highlight this experience so that we can improve our service in the future.
05/04/2026: Easter, arrived at 1 PM, and at 3 PM the appetizers still haven't arrived. The table next to us, after a 2-hour wait, received their entrees. With these times, if I'd ordered an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert, I'd have had to stay for dinner again, the wait times are so long.
If you can't handle that many people, don't get upset; you'll ruin people's celebrations, their day, and even their lunch.
The managers are incompetent at managing and taking orders at this point, and nothing to say to the young waiters.

12/04/2026: A guarantee! We always return whenever we can, and we're never disappointed. Excellent food, generous portions, and prompt, friendly service. Being a beach club, it also has an outdoor play area, which we love because it allows our kids to play and have fun.
09/04/2026: Friendliness is the main characteristic.
We were greeted with a "Welcome, girls!!!" that opened our hearts and stomachs.
Excellent lunch, very fresh fish.
Devid pampered us with fast service and a discreet but constant presence.
Good value for money too.
Highly recommended.

21/03/2026: Roxy's Vertigo Cocktail Bar is a lovely spot near the Porto Garibaldi waterfront, where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast or an excellent aperitif, served with a generous plate of appetizers for a reasonable price. The owner is very professional and friendly. I'll definitely be back for an aperitif when I'm in the area.

11/04/2026: I highly recommend Trattoria del Borgo as a place to eat in Comacchio!
A very quaint spot in the historic center, with a simple and authentic atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. Perfect for both a quiet dinner and an evening with friends.
The food is excellent, especially the traditional local fish dishes, with generous portions and fair prices.
17/03/2026: We had a mixed fried fish dish, very varied and well-made. The staff was very helpful, and the price was fair.

02/05/2026: I didn't have high expectations... but I have to change my mind... the fried food was amazing!! Delicious!! I'm not giving it 5 stars because the portions could be a little larger, but the quality is unquestionable!

Impeccable organization and despite the place being full, the service was excellent with more than acceptable wait times. The lady at the cashier was kind, fast, and you could tell she had years of experience! Excellent value for money!

All the staff are attentive, courteous, and friendly.
