Local cuisine, simple, with generous portions, but prices only slightly lower than those of a Bologna trattoria. The restaurant is rustic and basic, with an outdoor seating area. It's one of the few in the group of houses, also serving as a small market and tobacconist. There's a large parking lot 200 meters away, and it's located on popular CAI trails. Friendly and courteous staff. Good value, excellent sliced ​​meats, and dishes with truffles and mushrooms. Must try!

06/04/2026: Wandering on Easter Monday between Monzuno and Loiano, we found ourselves in Monghidoro... lunchtime now... what to do... we ended up at the Trattoria da Carlet, certainly without a reservation. It was immediately a no even though there were only 2 of us. Then they asked us if it was okay to wait until 1:15 pm (it was 12:40). A table for 2 would be available, so we accepted... we had a great time, excellent food and plenty of it, courtesy and kindness of all the staff. We didn't manage to try the desserts because they were too full... What can I say? Thanks, and we hope to return soon, perhaps by booking in advance!

When an owner is that control freak, they create a heavy atmosphere that no decor, no matter how beautiful, can lift.
