20/07/2025: I'm sorry to have to give this place only a one-star review, but above all, it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth for the way the owner treated me and my partner. Today around 1 pm, we went to the restaurant without a reservation and were greeted and seated immediately by the owner, who then started chatting with the couple sitting behind us. The waiter then asked us what we wanted to drink, brought it to us, and waited for the owner (still busy chatting) to come (as with all the other tables) to take our orders. After a 10-minute wait and several glances at the owner, I called the guy who, mortified, took our order. While waiting, he noticed that all the tables had bread baskets (always the owner's job) and we didn't. So, I asked the ever-kind waiter for bread, he went to the kitchen and came back saying they were preparing it. Two minutes later, the owner came out with the basket and, completely ignoring us, brought the second basket to another couple! I'm shocked, a minute passes, the dishes arrive, and finally the owner realizes that we're the only ones (even the tables after us had it) without bread. He looks at us, and I try to tell him, "Yes, I complained to..." but he doesn't even let me finish and replies, "Yes, YOU'RE right." And he leaves, sending the waiter with the bread. The food (mixed seafood appetizer), perhaps due to the lack of summer customers, was unfortunately terrible. The scallops and mussels were tasteless, the octopus and potatoes WITH ROSE SAUCE was stale, the bread was dry, the seafood salad was industrial, and the carpaccio was stale and falling apart! Except for the fried food, which was well executed, but unfortunately the ingredients were terrible. The cordonetti with scallops, zucchini, and saffron were acceptable, but the pasta isn't homemade, and the shrimp were poor quality. For €18 worth of pasta, the scallops weren't enough. What bothered me most, however, was the owner's total lack of professionalism, which made my companion and I feel very uncomfortable. Even when we received the bill, we weren't asked how we enjoyed our meal, nor were we thanked. What a disappointment! Needless to say, this place has been crossed off our list of restaurants to visit every now and then.
