07/02/2026: A place you can't go wrong. I tried the aperitif and breakfast. I must say that the location is beautiful and the atmosphere warm, but the table full of delicious dishes, made with excellent, locally sourced ingredients, is the icing on the cake. This morning's breakfast featured both a wide selection of sweet dishes, all homemade, and a delicious selection of savory options. Definitely worth a try.
11/01/2026: A group of lifelong friends, an evening reminiscing about the many moments that have brought us together.
Nothing better than finding ourselves in a place like Podere Santa Croce, where a welcoming atmosphere, competent staff, and excellent and varied cuisine, prepared by people who know their craft, made us feel at ease.
We'll be back very soon, because some places are addictive!

07/03/2026: Inexplicably a little-known place (the locals know it very well) to most...it should be a pilgrimage destination for sfogliati. It should be an excuse to get off the highway. Honorable mention for preparing bread and mortadella for 20 people at 7:00 in the morning. The entire event staff thanks you.
I'd say see you next time.
07/03/2026: The puff pastry is truly excellent, with the chocolate croissant filling a bit too similar to Nutella (I should clarify). Compared to other rolls, the cinnamon roll seemed too sweet and cloying, with a faint cinnamon flavor. It's best served warm.

17/12/2025: Exceptional local trattoria, outside Argelato, in an almost homey atmosphere... like the kitchens of yesteryear!! The selection of dishes is endless, from appetizers to first courses with tortellini in broth, fettuccine, passatelli, and cutlets... sliced, shank with potatoes, strips, and even polenta with a variety of sauces!!! The zuppa inglese, made by the owner himself, is legendary... Giò!! It's worth a detour wherever you happen to be.

Prices are reasonable (very affordable), and the food is delicious.
I highly recommend it.

17/02/2026: I stopped by chance looking for a quick business lunch, and found the service slow, the staff rude, the food quality embarrassing, and the bill high. Avoid.
14/02/2026: The dishes were delicious, only the second course was small but sufficient for us. The service was a bit slow, but still worth it. The place is large, and another plus is that it wasn't too noisy since it was quite busy.

07/10/2025: Excellent experience at the bar, well-maintained and clean. Top-quality pastries and a wide selection of savory and sweet breakfast items, several coffees including Arabica and chocolate, excellent, smiling, friendly, and above all, kind staff.
They also offer top-quality wines at deeply discounted prices!!!

Atmosfera molto familiare e personale di sala molto gentile e professionale, tempi di attesa e prezzi nella norma. Sicuramente da ripetere ,complimenti

C'ero stato un anno fa e il ritorno è stata una conferma della qualità e della cortesia che avevo trovato allora.
Il rapporto qualità prezzo è piuttosto interessante.
Certamente consigliato sia per una sosta breve sia per un pranzo o cena completo.
É opportuno prenotare altrimenti si rischia di non trovare posto.

13/10/2024: Scordatevi il concetto borghese e stucchevole di "menu".
Qui si viene a ragion veduta, esclusivamente su prenotazione, e il locale si conosce per passaparola. La capienza (non eccedibile) del locale è di dieci, massimo dodici coperti.
Quanto a me, ci venivo cinquant'anni fa quando comandava Alcide Belletti, e ci vengo adesso che da tanto tempo comanda sua figlia Sandra.
Qui si cena (ma verificate telefonando!) dal mercoledì al sabato, e la domenica si pranza. Visto che di norma non si accettano prenotazioni per oltre due settimane, potreste dover provare e riprovare prima di riuscire a trovare il vostro incastro.
Il primo è la gramigna con il ragù, però prenotando la domenica mattina si possono avere le tagliatelle preparate da Sandra.
Il secondo è il pollo alla griglia che, su richiesta e verificando disponibilità, può essere ampliato con salsiccia e pancetta.
Il dolce è la ciambella bolognese.
Il vino è o bianco, o rosso. A scelta!
Ma c'è anche l'acqua.
Venite, venite a imparare come si stava, e come si dovrebbe stare, al mondo.
