29/07/2025: Very good!!! Without a doubt, the best pizza place we've had so far. It was worth the 3 km walk to try one of the best Italian pizzas in the Bologna area. The atmosphere is beautifully decorated, it feels like paradise. I sincerely appreciate the service. You're the best.

02/08/2025: What happened? I love the Pancetta Emilia chain and especially the ragù, but I noticed that it's different here at Grande Emilia, it's not good at all, maybe they should revise the recipe.

31/07/2025: I had the fried gnocco basket with a platter of mixed cured meats and stracchino cheese. It was really good and fried well. Perhaps the gnocco pieces could have been a little larger, but I still enjoyed it very much. The staff was friendly, and the wait was short. Thank you so much.

27/07/2025: In an age of "fake little chemist's cuisine," finding such authentic, substantial places that don't need frills to try to make themselves important is a pleasant rarity.

23/06/2025: Rustic and authentic farmhouse with a traditional menu. The cold cuts and giardiniera were good, the pasta with ragù was good and finally a grill cooked as God intended (and not overcooked as I find it too often around), very tender mutton. I also really liked the super Romagna desserts. Porcospino and zuppa inglese like grandma used to make. The right portions, low prices. You could do better with the house wine. The place was nice and cool, the waitress was present without ever being intrusive. The restaurant is small, it is advisable to book. Small parking lot. Overall it was a really excellent lunch!

07/06/2025: I advise you not to book a table online because they don't have this service even though there is the possibility. I found myself booking a table online and going there and being told that they don't check online reservations. Quite disorganized. They still found a table. Very good dishes but the service was really bad. The waiters take away your plate while you are still eating, they have no respect for the customers, it almost seems like they want to send you away. The quality/price ratio is not exactly excellent, medium-high prices for the quality and especially the service. I don't recommend it because there is definitely better in Modena

06/06/2025: Don’t eat here, they send out food that you did not order. They take advantage of Americans. There’s also a charge per person to sit so that plus the extra food makes the bill ridiculous.

27/07/2025: The piadinas were very good and excellent value for money. On the downside, the owner was rude, snapping at a young woman whose only fault was asking if there was a vegetarian alternative for the dough (without lard). He was also visibly annoyed by the large crowd.

23/06/2025: We took the cold cuts and cheese platter with the fried gnocco basket and tigelle (there is a wide choice between crescioni, piadina and fried food). Everything is very good, the products are fresh and of excellent quality. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Last time I also tried the Modena pesto, truly spectacular! Possibility of parking on the street very convenient, you can eat at the tables.

10/07/2025: Camere pulitissime in una struttura incantevole, nuovissima. Attenzione ai particolari, sia nell'arredamento sia nei servizi e nella scelta dei materiali. Molto bravi anche per i saponi bio. La piscina è un plus notevole. Colazione dolce e salata abbondante. Abbiamo anche pranzato la domenica ed è tutto squisito. Ma soprattutto la gentilezza di tutto il personale fa la differenza. Ti senti a casa, ti senti coccolato. Noi torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo a chiunque voglia staccare dalla confusione della città.

04/07/2025: passano gli anni ed è sempre un ottimo posto dove mangiare Piacentino , antipasti fantastici e primi sempre di alto livello , ottimi i secondi di carne e una menzione per i dolci , servizio perfetto e tempi di attesa nella media anche se con la sala piena. Ambienti rinnovati ed ampliati con possibilità di pernotto e piscina. Veramente da visitare

18/07/2025: We first found out about Corte d'Aibo whilst at the Slow Wine festival in Bologna, in fact Margherita was the first person we spoke to. She was just setting up so we went to a few other stalls to taste their wine and then returned back. Every wine we tasted at the stall was wonderful and we were very impressed with the philosophy and care the vineyard had. Fast forward a couple of months and my daughter and myself had the pleasure of staying at the vineyard. The setting, the ambience, the quality of everything is truly amazing. Margherita is so hard working and a credit to her lovely parents who also work non stop. Her father is a master of wine and so clever at getting perfection, he is also experimenting with new wines. The food is some of the nicest we have had in Italy, a lot of it grown on the premises. The apartments are lovely and the fresh water pool stunning. If you want to just relax and chill out whilst enjoying quality then please go here. We are going to the Classic Car Show in Bologna later this year and will have a few days here as well. Come next year I am taking my whole family out, the grandchildren can just run around and swim in the pool etc. Margherita is getting married in September and we wish her, Matteo and the family the best. 15/07/2025: I returned to this place after years of absence, and I found a place with a different atmosphere. I should start by saying that we knew the price of the pizzas and decided to go anyway, but unfortunately the price doesn't reflect the quality. The restaurant doesn't offer options for lactose intolerant people, which in 2025 is a major handicap. As for the gourmet pizzas, they're really small—the crust practically took up the entire slice. Again, I knew the pizza was small, but this is really overkill. The quality of the ingredients used is excellent, perhaps the only redeeming feature.

10/07/2025: A welcoming, medium-sized restaurant with inviting, minimalist decor that tastefully blends vintage and urban styles. Delicious pizzas; I highly recommend the Tonno e Topea with tuna carpaccio—a touch of class! Highly recommended!

25/06/2025: Everything was delicious. We went there for breakfast every day. The ice cream, savory snacks, coffee, and pastries were delicious. The staff was hardworking and friendly.

19/08/2025: I'll start by saying I don't often leave reviews, especially not negative ones, but unfortunately I have to this time. It's a very nice place, with good Latin music that draws people in. We went there on the evening of August 14th. The place was obviously packed, and there were long lines both at the register to get receipts and at the bar to get drinks. Seeing how crowded it was, we decided to get two receipts for two cocktails to avoid another line at the register. The first time we got lucky, we managed to get drinks. Instead of two gin and lemons, they gave us two gin and tonics, but whatever. On the second, after a ridiculous line to get to the cocktail bar, we were told that they could only get us one cocktail with that receipt because the promotion was over. We were incredulous and said that we weren't told about this promotion, even though we'd already told the cashier that the two receipts had been split precisely to avoid a double line at the register. The cocktail attendant invited us to go and talk to the owner. So we went to ask the owner for an explanation, and he told us bluntly that we couldn't read the signs about the promotion. We told him that no one had mentioned it to us, at least not the cashier, to whom we'd explained the purpose of the two receipts to avoid another line at the register. We also said that given the crowd, we might not have seen those infamous signs. He continued to insist that we couldn't read the signs, basically calling us ignorant... just kindness and respect! He also added that he can't explain everything to every employee, but hey, you're playing with that, and you're right to do so. A little transparency, given that the place was crowded anyway, and the profit must have been significant. The point isn't the paltry €10 expense that won't change my life, nor the fact that you're offering promotions in a place that's perfectly acceptable... it's the fact that you've treated customers who chose your place for an evening so poorly. We could have simply said, "Yes, there's this promotion. We're sorry you didn't see the signs; they probably weren't clearly visible/displayed, but no problem, what are you drinking?" Instead, the owner preferred to continue on his way, annoyed by our attitude since we felt offended. He refunded the €10 rather than make two cocktails, which would have cost him much less. We're not the kind of people who think the customer is always right, but being treated like this—people aged 37 and 42, perhaps given that the average age at the place was around 20, or even younger—are you used to dealing with kids? In our entire lives, we've never truly been treated this way, and we've never reacted so consistently because we've never been insulted. Moral of the story: two apologies, a few laughs, and a sip together would have been enough, nothing else.

16/08/2025: My partner and I ordered two mixed fried fish platters and a plate of fries to share, but we were disappointed. The mixed fried fish wasn't good; you could taste a lot of oil and the fish wasn't very flavorful. The fries were good. They should have also warned us about the portion size, which was very generous, and in fact, my girlfriend didn't finish hers. We arrived and were about to sit at the outside tables, but the waitress seemed annoyed by our request, inviting us to sit at the already set tables, telling us it was going to start raining (spoiler alert: it never rained; in fact, it was 30 degrees). Furthermore, the tables were already occupied by other people, so it seemed like we were the problem. The owner was very kind and helpful. The quality/price ratio wasn't great, which was a shame because the place is very nice.

06/07/2025: Watermelon always sweet, very good and super large portion! Even the piadinas are good, great for lunch or snack.

26/06/2025: I want to give this beach 5 stars for the courtesy and the good food! Milanese on a trip left early, arrived early and therefore a free afternoon at the beach! We booked a beach umbrella and two sun loungers and very honestly, since it was 11.45 they only charged for the afternoon, which is not so obvious. Lunch time we always ate there, EXCELLENT! Good food, friendly staff, very fair price! I highly recommend it!
