14/11/2024: Best restaurant in Praiano! True food made by true chef, one of the few restaurants along the coast doesn’t tantalize the dishes with too much salt for tourist yet every dish was to the point with perfect amount of ingredients - simply delicious like grandma’s cooking, a modern grandma!
04/11/2024: Cute little place on the main road in Praiano, friendly staff of one man who takes orders, cooks, etc. he had one helper with paying but did it all on his own. Great food!

13/08/2024: Amazing, amazing, and AMAZING! The food was the absolute best! We ordered so much to try and taste everything! Most of the staff was friendly and helpful! The location is also great with beautiful views, especially at sunset! I highly recommend this on your trip to the amalfi coast!
12/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante sabato 10 agosto. Il Sig. Antonio, 77enne proprietario ed animatore del locale, ci ha accolto come fossimo gli amici di sempre.
Vi siamo intrattenuti cantando con lui e mangiando in maniera fantastica.
Consigliatissimo.

01/11/2024: Cute space, first class service, excellent food, very nice wine list. They are passionate about the experience! Waiter was very helpful in selecting a wine to match the food. Parking, as in anywhere in Amalfi, is tight.
31/10/2024: Fantastic: angels of taste on your tongue!
After the Sentiero degli Dei I was ready for some concentrates and this dish surpassed everything.

27/10/2024: We were able to try the 50€ menu. He was very good. Unfortunately a few details taint my comment, for example the apple juice that we never received, or the bad desserts that we were served. When the waiter noticed this, he still brought us the voucher.
The servers and staff were professional, friendly and efficient overall.
Very beautiful view from this aerial terrace.

26/10/2024: Ristorante magnifico sia per quanto concerne il panorama che per le pietanze. Pesce sublime sia servito come antipasto che nel primo e secondo. Unica pecca i prezzi, un po' cari, ma la qualità si paga.
19/10/2024: Después de escribir una opinión negativa sobre este restaurante donde nos cobraron hasta por respirar, en privado, el maitre hizo un comentario desafortunado sobre si no deberíamos ir a ese local porque no era asequible para nosotros. S grosería no le va a salir gratis. No se trata de eso. Los clientes merecemos respeto por protestar por las sorpresas de la factura con importes no justificada y la respuesta despectiva en el propio restaurante. Hemos informado a la agencia que nos organizó el viaje para que eviten estos lugares que tratan a la gente de forma tan despectiva.

23/08/2024: Food/drinks were ok; the staff were nice and had an amazing view. It was 20€ for my 2oz cocktail that tasted nothing like was described on the menu. No taste of chocolate or cherry and it mentions milk and yogurt but the drink clearly had neither of those or it would be creamy looking right? Tasted so gross I couldn’t finish it. Good thing I asked for it to be removed from my bill and they complied. Also 18€ for average Moscow mule. So overpriced and should just go somewhere else.

20/08/2024: My daughter and I booked a cooking class at La Gavitella on our family vacation. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience truly special. Our Chef Giuseppe was knowledgeable, patient and fun. His assistants, Vanessa and Julia were attentive to details and made sure that out experience was well preserved in pictures that they shared with us. We learned cooking skills, but also we had an unforgettable experience. Needless to say that the restaurant has fabulous food and drink menu. We highly recommend La Gavitella as a marvelous restaurant and the best cooking class. Also, if you want to experience true Italian hospitality and friendliness, visit this restaurant. The vibe is great.
14/08/2024: We came here for a booked cooking class through Get Your Guide.
It was the best day!! From the pick up in the boat, to the staff and the cooking class, to the sun beds in the afternoon, it was better than we expected. The staff were amazing, so welcoming and made the day memorable. We loved the cooking and the chef was great and helpful. Flowing champagne for the morning.
Then we spent 4 hours on sun beds and swimming in the ideal location. 10/10 experience, would highly recommend!!

Voce 'e Notte Grill & Sunset Bar

10/10/2024: Voce'e Notte Sunset Bar offers one of the prettiest views in Praiano! The scenery is truly breathtaking and makes for a wonderful setting. However, the dinner experience was a bit mid.
We started with two oysters that were well cleaned and juicy, which was a nice touch. I ordered the clam linguine pasta, while my husband opted for the filet mignon. Unfortunately, my clam pasta was quite basic—nothing really special about it. The filet mignon was also underwhelming, especially considering it cost around €30; I’ve had much better quality at a better price elsewhere.
On the bright side, the service was excellent. Our server was very nice and attentive, which enhanced our experience. Overall, while the views are stunning, I wish the food had matched the setting.
24/08/2024: 25€+ per plate but worth every penny. Staff is friendly and the view is breathtaking along with a stellar ambiance.

18/07/2024: We had a great time at One Fire. Yes it is expensive but they are upfront on the price and you can either go and pay or not. There were plenty of people there. Families, couples and friend groups. The place is so clean. Well attended. I really had a fun day to let lose and enjoy the vibe.
16/07/2024: I understand the inflation of recent years, but now the prices have gone completely crazy!
Having been here 2, 3 and 4 years ago, the prices were expensive but correct, with around 60€ per person (without any particular placement) for a deckchair.
Then there were the drinks, but you're paying for the exceptional location. That was fine.
This year (2024) you have to pay per person : 100€ (150€ if you want to be in front of the sea) for a sun-bed + 100€ minimum for drinks during the day.
That makes 200-250€/person/day !
Prices have more than doubled in

Tramonto d'Oro Restaurant

22/06/2024: We came here after our wedding for an intimate dinner with our small family. We emailed the restaurant to make the arrangements. They went above and beyond to make our dinning experience excellent. The food was delicious, the view was amazing and the service was very friendly!! We absolutely loved our dinner here. They also gave us a ride back to our house!! I highly recommend this restaurant!!
08/05/2024: Nice spot for dinner with a view for sunset. The service was excellent as was the food. They served a small chefs appetizer (caprese, croquette, bruschetta) and dessert (lemon sweet, cookie, jam tart) which was included and a very nice touch. The portions for appetizer dinner were sufficient. We had the ravioli for an appetizer and then the lemon linguine and mixed pasta provalone and potato. My husband enjoyed the Chianti wine and although we didn’t have a directly outside balcony table, they positioned the inside tables to have a view outside.

17/07/2024: Terrible servicio y dueño racista. Tuve una muy mala actitud. La vista estaba bien y también los vinos que estaban significativamente marcados.
El servidor era muy bueno y lo hizo.
08/07/2024: Locale con una terrazza a strapiombo sul mare dove si può ammirare un bellissimo panorama della costiera su positano e non solo...e se vi trovate col tramonto e qualcosa di eccezionale.
Ci siamo stati a cena e la nostra esoerienza è stata positiva...piatti buoni e in giuste dosi e davvero ottimi!!
Molto buoni anche i ravioli da provare!
Personale gentilissimo e veloce!
Locale provvisto anche di parcheggio gratuito non proprio vicino ma ottimo visto che in costiera e la zona dova si trova non e facile parcheggiare.
Prezzi nella norma pensando comunque che si sta mangiando a Praiano in costiera e a vista mare!
Bella esperienza lo consiglio!
