The food was nothing short of excellent.
Congratulations to everyone, we really had a great time.
10/08/2025: A real discovery! Core a Core is a charming restaurant nestled in a beautiful garden, creating a magical and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner or a special evening.
The food is simply delicious: fresh ingredients, carefully prepared dishes, and authentic flavors that showcase Cilento tradition with a touch of originality. The fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. Every course was a delight.
The staff was friendly and attentive, always smiling. Excellent value.

30/07/2025: A well-organized beach club with reasonable prices. The location is excellent on the beach of the same name.
The space between the umbrellas is decidedly too small.
29/07/2025: The beach is very well organized, from the parking lot to the beach, to the restrooms with showers and changing rooms, bar, and restaurant. The staff and parking attendants are truly friendly. The sea is enchanting. The beaches are clean, but there's little space between umbrellas. We also rented a pedal boat and arrived at the "Baia del Buon Sorriso" (Good Sleep Bay) with spectacular sea views. Prices are average. Definitely the best beach there is. I recommend it.

Not bad, fresh fish and good flavor
However, the paccheri were cooked too al dente
Gnocchi were the same.
Service by waiter Gaetano, who initially responded to some clarifications about the menu and suggestions, "Do you have to eat or do I?". Then, in the end, he was normal and friendly.
Excellent prices despite being located in the center of Palinuro.
07/09/2025: I recommend reserving a table in the morning for lunch or dinner.
We were seated as soon as we arrived. The staff was helpful and the products were good.

06/09/2025: We went to this very characteristic restaurant last night. The atmosphere was comfortable, the staff very friendly. The appetizers were plentiful, and the food was excellent. I recommend it to anyone who wants to feel at home.

10/09/2025: We visited Da Isidoro restaurant in Palinuro and had a wonderful time! The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, with friendly and helpful staff. The seafood dishes are incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked, with generous portions and authentic flavors of the Cilento tradition. Their specialty, Vicciatella della Nonna, is a must-try, a flavorful and truly unique dish. The fried fish is also excellent, crispy and light, and the pizza is delicious and cooked to perfection. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Palinuro!
03/09/2025: During our vacation, we ate twice at the welcoming Isidoro restaurant. The fish and pizza were very good, and the staff were very friendly.

08/07/2025: Spacious restaurant with two air-conditioned and welcoming rooms. Well-spaced tables. Wood-fired pizza oven. QR code menu. Very good fish salad (appetizer). Decent mixed fried fish (mostly anchovies, I would have preferred more squid and cuttlefish). Adequate portions, verging on generous. Quick and friendly service.
08/07/2025: I came here attracted by the good reviews, but, alas, I wasn't entirely satisfied.
Starting with the order, I wanted to order spaghetti with clams (I'd seen the same dish from a customer at a nearby table), but they told me they could only make it with scialatielli. Okay, let's ignore that; the problem is it tasted practically nothing.
The appetizers, on the other hand, were decent. I ordered mussels with pepper and an octopus salad. The service could be improved, though. I would have preferred a plate per person so we could share the appetizer without spilling.
The icing on the cake was the waiter, who brought freshly washed glasses for the next table and... a tactical rub on my back to remove the excess water. I sincerely hope he didn't do it on purpose. Nothing to complain about the prices; they were average, but I've had much better for this price.

31/08/2025: Campsite and restaurant in a strategic location near the Palinuro Natural Arch. A family atmosphere and all amenities included. The restaurant deserves special mention: a relaxing setting surrounded by nature, excellent service, and generous, truly excellent dishes. The quality/price ratio is a testament to the quality. Five stars.

23/07/2025: Beautiful beach, easy to reach, the price of an umbrella and two sunbeds is €25 and also includes parking, clear water and the possibility of renting canoes, pedal boats and boat trips to see the nearby bays.
23/07/2025: Very disappointed with the experience on this beach... let's leave aside the fact that the "free" area is a miserable strip but oh well, the bay to the left of the access had murky water like the mouth of the Po River 😬 the one to the right was beautiful except for the obvious presence of waste from the various boats present offshore (..I'll leave you to imagine..). Moral of the story after just an hour we abandoned (and not just me because the small parking lot had emptied) Too bad because it's a beautiful location... maybe I had an unlucky day 🤷🏻♂️

27/08/2025: Terrible experience tonight at the Pirate restaurant. The owner was arrogant and rude, the prices were exorbitant, and to top it all off they didn't even issue a receipt.

07/09/2025: Just steps from Palinuro's main square, at the end of a narrow alley, on a lovely terrace overlooking the harbor bay, seafood and local delicacies are served, accompanied by excellent wines. Generous portions. Ideal for couples seeking a romantic moment. Fast and courteous service. Prices are a bit higher than average, but reasonable for the generous portions served in an enchanting location. I'll be back.

31/08/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Saline from August 22nd to 27th, 2025. The only positive things were the kindness of the people and the sea view. I mean, "view," because the sea is inaccessible due to the underwater reef that extends from the shore for dozens of meters, which is also very dangerous. We had to go to the beach elsewhere, spending a lot more money. Furthermore, I think the chef was on vacation during the week we stayed, so he couldn't make pasta that wasn't overcooked—I'm talking about penne and rigatoni, not fresh pasta.
The only professional was the maitre d', Pasquale. Eggs at breakfast had to be paid for separately; at €145 per person for half board, two scrambled eggs would have been fine. Finally, to the left of the hotel, there's a long-unfinished eyesore, still owned by the same owner, and when we went to pay, no one asked how our stay had been... did they already know the answers and related criticisms?
Being from central and southern Italy myself, I'm truly sorry to have to write these things, which are unfortunately true! Given the level demonstrated, it does not reflect the declared category...perhaps a little more transparency combined with an appropriate price could avoid controversy.
28/08/2025: I booked this hotel for a weekend. They emailed me a quote to make the payment. I immediately took steps to make the payment when I received a call from this poorly organized and disrespectful hotel, saying they had canceled the reservation because it had been sold without even giving me time to pay online (we're talking about two minutes from the time their email arrived).
You are a disgrace as hoteliers. It's a shame there's no zero star rating, because that's what you deserve.

23/08/2025: A quiet restaurant. Exceptional sciallatelli. Very friendly and attentive staff.
17/08/2025: First dinner of our trip here, on the recommendation of friends who had been there a year earlier.
The gentleman was very kind, finding us a seat inside given the rather cool weather!
The appetizer didn't really win me over, but the scialatielli allo scoglio made up for it; they were delicious.
The price was average, we spent around 90 euros.
