07/04/2024: Enchanting experience for a restaurant of the highest level

23/03/2024: Where do I start? Stefano (one of the four brothers who look after this restaurant as the fourth generation of this family restaurant) picked us up as part of the shuttle service that they offer to customers (to and from Amalfi) as the restaurant is located just a bit further away from central Amalfi. He gave us an introduction and background into the family run business and use of their farm produce. We were then welcomed by Antonio (another brother) who served us throughout the evening and gave us a tour of the restaurant and showed us the terrace. We ordered the Ciccio Tasting Menu and it was absolutely amazing. They are generous with portions and they also give bread on the side (complimentary). Antonio explains every dish clearly and is the most passionate person I've met when it comes to food. Ask him any question about the ingredients and the way its been prepped and he will tell you all the work that goes into it. It was their first day of opening so wasn't too busy but it was a very nice place to have a lovely meal to celebrate an anniversary. They then dropped us off back at our hotel in Amalfi and it was an absolute amazing dinner and evening. Compliments to the chefs and team who made the whole journey from start to finish such high quality. All the best for the new season!

09/05/2024: My husband and I spent 10 days in Italy, and this was, without a doubt, the best meal we had on our trip! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was phenomenal. They even provided a shuttle to and from the restaurant since we were staying on the far end of Positano. Definitely make this a stop if you’re in the area!

04/05/2024: Fabulous feast worth the detour and for everyone who wants to experience a real “plate upgrade” vs the typical, Amalfi harbor tourist joint. Sit close to the open kitchen to watch the maestro of the pasta station do his magic - organized, calm, impressively effortless.

06/04/2024: Excellent restaurant, welcoming and cheerful staff, excellent food. We decided to try this place due to the excellent reviews we read and we didn't regret it. Excellent food and welcoming staff. Excellent value for money. Generous portions.

06/04/2024: We discovered it by chance while looking for a place to stop along the way towards the gulf of Policastro. Family run with typical dishes and very friendly service. Modest price. We'll be back!!!

28/02/2024: "Extraordinary gastronomic experience at the passionately run restaurant" We were there recently, run by Giuseppe with the help of his wonderful parents. I must say that it was an exceptional culinary experience that we will not easily forget! In fact we will be back soon! The welcoming atmosphere and attentive service made the day even more enjoyable. He professionally displayed the dishes and their 0 km origin. We felt truly pampered throughout the meal. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality, and their passion for cooking was clearly reflected in the flavor of the dishes. Furthermore, we really appreciated their commitment to sustainability and the use of local and seasonal products. It's great to see owners so aware of the environment and community. Thank you for making our experience so special!

06/04/2024: Palazzo Murat was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. The service was impeccable. They upgraded us upon arrival to a room overlooking the water and hills of Positano and gifted us a complimentary bottle of champagne to kick off our stay. The concierge was so helpful and anytime we had a question or needed anything they helped us immediately. They helped us set up our sunset boat cruise and gave us information that helped us hike the path of gods. The breakfast was incredible it was such a lovely way to start our day each day. We were able to enjoy a day by the pool which had a beautiful view and was very relaxing. We enjoyed apritivo at La petit Murat on a couple of occasions. We also ate dinner at their Al Palazzo restaurant our last night and had a nice relaxing evening the food and service was also wonderful. The location is absolutely perfect as it gives you quick walking access to the water/ferries and access to the shops and other restaurants. I would 100% recommend staying at this hotel. The staff are kind and friendly and go above and beyond. Thank you to everyone there who made our stay a 5 star experience!

01/04/2024: For those who want a lunch by the sea it is the ideal place. The staff is very kind, smiling and welcoming. You feel pampered from arrival until the last course. To start, not to be missed is the seafood appetizer with seafood mojito, one of their delicacies. The first courses are all good and you are truly spoiled for choice, the pacchero with tomato, capers and tuna is certainly very original and tasty. Make sure you leave room for dessert, they have some desserts in jars that are delicious.

07/04/2024: Found by chance, we stopped in the dairy with a refreshment area, I would almost say a small restaurant. Mozzarella and similar all of the highest quality, large dishes of homemade pasta and finally pastiera and cannoli made with buffalo ricotta. A true paradise

07/05/2024: There are 4 tables next to the place, but only 5 chairs 😉, but the service is fast and the pizza tastes good. For me personally, the center of the cake was a bit too soggy with the tomatoes. It should be added that the value for money is excellent. The location of the premises is also excellent

05/05/2024: Super fast, super convenient and super pleasant service. Hot and filling pizzas at great prices. The lady at the counter was always smiling and nice. We came here twice while in Amalfi and both times didn’t disappoint!

30/03/2024: Fantastic, quality food in a mellow but stylish environment. We went for dinner here with our teenaged son (March, 2024). We ordered the ravioli, steak and clam pasta. Everything was so excellent and perfectly cooked. Normally we wouldn’t order steak at a seaside location but our son wanted to try it and it was so delicious and NOT overcooked! The clam pasta was cooked to perfection and the ravioli, too (delicious ricotta/herb filling). We loved that the chef (owner?) was also the waiter (a one-man show!) It just seemed very authentic and not a typical tourist spot. Beautiful meal!

29/11/2023: Very great little Italian restaurant, the dishes are on a slate menu, we had Spaghetti Putanesca very tasty 😋 and recommended. The boss cooks himself!

20/01/2024: A truly one-of-a-kind place with attention to detail, to satisfy various types of flavors and for the eternally undecided. Really excellent pizza and sushi, we chose to taste both and conclude with a dessert. The sushi is à la carte, you don't have the option of doing all you can eat. Prices slightly higher than average but they are deserved and suitable for the service and food they offer.

12/05/2024: A dinner at Antica Tavola is nothing more than a time leap into a 1950s kitchen, where the ancient flavors of the past meet with typical local products. Every recipe has a story We had an appetizer with all very fresh local products that still retain the flavor of the past Delicious vegetables are taken directly from the farmer. Their strong point is the fantastic onion omelette. Next we had the magnificent pasta and potatoes. It's like giving up the cut served at the table on the hot plate and continuing its cooking there. And finally you have to try the "FORTE" dessert, their tiramisu. But don't give up the cheese cake with fresh goat and sheep's ricotta either. Everything really great! The restaurant is managed by Nives who takes care of the dining room and Riccardo in the kitchen. Kind, friendly and courteous people really make you feel at home. Cleanliness and homely atmosphere Absolutely highly recommended 💯

28/04/2024: We came to the Amalfi coast to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. We stayed in Pontecagnano and came to this restaurant twice. It was like taking a romantic blast from the past. From the restaurant decor that took me back to the objects and tools that populated my childhood to the cuisine that made me rediscover the sensations of home cooking with love and passion. If you pass through these parts you absolutely must come and eat here.
