09/08/2025: It's a nice location, and the starters were delicious: bruschetta and mozzarella. Until then, we thought the restaurant was a good choice for our first evening. For main courses, we had fish fillet, beef fillet, and two pasta dishes with rabbit. The latter two dishes were apparently forgotten, because after the rest of us had already finished and guests who arrived later received their food, we had to ask where the other two dishes were. A quick 'sorry,' then it took another 10 minutes, and unfortunately, most of the pasta was more than al dente. It was as if they had tried to cook it quickly and didn't wait for it to be ready. We asked for the dishes to be removed from the bill. The waiter was a bit annoyed, and we were practically ignored. In the end, the €198 bill was only reduced by €5. We won't eat there again. Especially since we noticed a €20 surcharge for coperto cena on the bill, and the prices were already very high. We wouldn't recommend it.

Every time we're here, we feel welcome, as if we were staying with best friends. We owe this above all to Sabrina, the wonderful hostess, who shapes this place with her warm manner, attentiveness, and keen sense of genuine hospitality. Her warmth is genuine – and makes every visit something truly special. Lo Scoglio impresses with its straightforward, Mediterranean cuisine based on fresh ingredients from the island. Whether fish, seafood, vegetables, or pasta – everything is lovingly and tastefully prepared. What's particularly nice: The cuisine is honest, authentic, and unpretentious – that's exactly what makes it so special. Add to that the view of the sea, the light, the tranquility – Lo Scoglio is a place to enjoy and breathe deeply. For us, an absolute favorite place on Ischia.

25/08/2025: The anticipation is heightened by the long bus ride—almost an hour—during which the aggressive and skilled driving style of the municipal drivers unfolds (which deserves a separate review). At the end of the ride, where the road narrows, we take the last stretch on foot. Sant'Angelo d'Ischia is a strip of land, a thin peninsula jutting into the sea, protected by large rocks. It seems to have engendered a reserved, exclusive, and elegant character that shuns the large crowds of vacationers. The restaurant's terraces overlook the sea. It's almost hypnotic. The natural and artificial spaces of the dining rooms blend seamlessly, and one can admire the skill of those who created Casa Celestino. The appetizer, a sautéed clam dish, gloriously paves the way for the first courses: linguine with clams, penne allo scarpariello, and pasta with cherry tomatoes and seasonal vegetables. In short, a superb culinary experience. The desserts are exquisite. The staff moves with discretion and courtesy, creating a sense of being in an environment where elegance and serene informality intertwine. The musician approaches the table and, upon request, plays a witty bossa nova version of "Voce 'e notte" on his guitar. All that remains is to face the crazy ride back to the bus with a peaceful spirit. An evening to remember.

13/08/2025: A journey between sea and steam: geothermal cuisine that amazes. ​I visited the EMANUELA Bar/Restaurant expecting a simple seafood dinner on the beach, but I found so much more. The idea of cooking with the heat of the earth here isn't just a gimmick to attract tourists, but the beating heart of the place. ​As soon as we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking view: the room opens directly onto the sea. The atmosphere is elegant yet informal. ​I ordered the octopus at Filippo, which was steamed and incredibly full of flavor. Geothermal cooking enhances the freshness of the ingredients without altering their flavor, making every bite a sensory experience. The presentation of the dishes is also refined and minimalist, just like the flavors you perceive. ​The service was attentive and friendly, ready to explain how geothermal cuisine works. A 360-degree experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to try something truly new. I will definitely be back.

13/07/2025: Nos encantó este restaurante familiar, hogareño y delicioso. Los spaghetti alle vongole, la bruschetta, melanzane, proscuito e melone. . . ¡Todo para morirse! En realidad volvimos una segunda vez porque nos encantaron los sabores y el servicio amable y discreto. ¡Incluso nos presentaron al chef! También me encantó la brisa fresca con vistas al mar. ¡Bravo!

27/06/2025: Ristorante autentico, vissuto, pieno di sensazioni positive. Palafitta sul mare. Abbiamo pranzato in 4 con una brezza impareggiabile . Antipasto di alici e bruschette.. semplicemente gustose. 4 primi piatti (spaghetti alle vongole, con alici, ai frutti di mare e con le cozze) semplici, e preparati con prodotti di qualità. Ci ritorniamo di sicuro. Servizio informale e premuroso!

30/07/2025: An exceptional place to enjoy some cool air on a muggy evening. Attentive and friendly waiters, good quality food, local potatoes, and the vegetables they serve. Excellent eggplant parmigiana, delicious grilled chicken and rabbit. Definitely a place to return to often during the summer. My various guests also loved it. It was like eating at home.

25/07/2025: Friends always recommend great places to eat and share a delicious Ischian-style rabbit. So, when we came here, we tried the zito with rabbit sauce, rabbit, a side dish, red and white wine, and chips. I can tell you, it's an excellent product with very attentive, kind, and courteous service. Highly recommended!!! 😋😋🎉

04/06/2025: The restaurant's specialty is the Ischian rabbit but all the dishes are excellent and genuine. The kindness and warmth of the owner makes you feel at home. The location means it has an enchanting view. It can be reached by car or public transport, but if you have a bit of time it is worth reaching it on foot with a walk from Sant' Angelo.
