05/03/2025: The food was delicious and the service was even better. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and the restaurant. They truly cared about the experience for their guests and that made the dinner enjoyable.

16/11/2025: Four of us, friends, sat at the outside tables due to lack of space inside. We had a long wait to order a bottle of poor-quality prosecco for €40. No appetizers were included, just two tarallini and a few olives (they forgot to bring them). After 11 pm, we sat inside, but it was so crowded that it was impossible to breathe, even though the restaurant had a smaller capacity than the actual number of people. We finally gave up and left. Definitely not a repeat evening.
16/11/2025: We went to Sofií on Saturday night, and even though the place was packed, we were served right away. The waiters are super kind, helpful, and attentive.
The food was good, and the evening was very fun, with lots of singing and dancing.
I highly recommend it.

12/12/2025: Great experience with my group. The staff was more than friendly and knowledgeable.
09/12/2025: We had lunch on December 8th and ate very well. Reading some reviews, we were worried, but we had a great time. The staff and owners were very kind. They gave me the opportunity to cook for the little one and made themselves available. It will be a regular stop every time I go to the Sanctuary of Pompeii.

09/09/2025: Self-service and a relaxed atmosphere, because it's street food.
The food was excellent: we had calzones, arancini, pizza a portafoglio, and pasta with pancetta and provola cheese. They were simply SUPERLATIVE!!!!
WHEN YOU LEAVE THE POMPEII RUINS, STOP BY ZIO CARMINE FOR HIS FRESHLY MADE DELICACIES.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
I had two trays prepared to take home for dinner.

16/08/2025: Poor quality food, zucchini flowers stuffed with sour ricotta, inedible fried foods, terrible, extremely slow service. And be careful with your bill; you might end up with items you ordered that never made it to the table, due to their negligence. A nightmare pizzeria.
Negative reviews are useful for improving.

15/12/2025: Food was decent but felt very uncomfortable from the waiter. Clearly was still finishing off our last bites of food when he came and asked to take our plates. Still had a bit left and our mouth full so he said oh sorry I’ll wait, and stood and watched my partner have to rush the last of his meal as he was being watched over. Very strange. Felt like we had to rush our food and was just uncomfortable having someone stood over you trying to take our plates. He eventually took our plate while my partner still had food in his mouth
14/12/2025: Sunday lunch with pizza. The place was half-empty, and the pizza was served after a 40-minute wait, with delivery being preferred.
It's practically the first time I've been charged for a cover charge by a 2-year-old girl 🤣 who's barely consumed anything except the air she's breathed.
The draft beer was gone before the pizza even arrived.
The pizza was average, absolutely nothing special...
And to think I went there on purpose.
It's basically an experience worth revisiting, and not for those who want to indulge in the pleasures of the palate.

09/12/2025: They should be embarrassed to serve this and call it a Margherita pizza. WC was also in the same state of embarrassment as their pizza.
07/12/2025: The food was okay, and so was the service. The atmosphere is more like a train station restaurant.
So, nothing outstanding, but you can eat there.

10/12/2025: Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. Admittedly, my visit was a few months ago. I was with a tour group, which meant everyone arrived at the same time and wanted to leave at the same time. Only three pizzas were brought to our table for four. (We all received four appetizers.) My pizza only arrived after I reminded them three times (about 15 minutes later). Consequently, the dessert (cake) also arrived late. Since the entire group had already finished, I didn't really have time to eat it. A waiter accidentally spilled my Coke, which wasn't a problem at first. When I asked for a new Coke, I was initially told I would have to pay for it. Only after a brief discussion did I finally receive it free of charge. Overall, it seemed to me that the staff was somewhat overwhelmed by the size of the group. Unfortunately, I forgot to write this review at the time. As I said, my visit was a few months ago, and the situation may be different now.
