24/02/2025: È stata un’esperienza a dir poco deludente. Su consiglio di conoscenti abbiamo prenotato un tavolo venerdì sera. Nulla da dire sulla serata karaoke che è stata coinvolgente e divertente. Non posso dire lo stesso del servizio e della qualità del cibo. Il personale è davvero disorganizzato: ho dovuto richiedere la stessa portata diverse volte; gli antipasti (che tra l altro non erano nulla di che), portati a distanza di tempo tra una parte del tavolo e l ‘altra, piatti ordinati che mancavano all’appello. Il Conto? A dir poco stellare.. mi dispiace ma non ci tornerò!

20/01/2025: BEWARE OF SOCIAL PROFILES!! Locale does not reflect expectations, everything you see on social media does not reflect reality. Terrible quality of food, dishes totally different from those presented on social media. Non-existent service. Arrogant owner, does not accept criticism, if at the end of dinner you want to complain about the poor service, desist because he will try to attack you (verbally or otherwise). TO AVOID.

01/02/2025: Nice family run restaurant. Good food reasonably priced. Had Antipasto Caprese, Linguine al Cartoccio, white wine, and excellent warm cheesecake and espresso for dessert. Hearty seafood pasta, with abundant calamari and baby clams. Cheesecake was fresh and complimented the slightly salty pasta. Friendly owner and daughter gracious with my very limited parle Italiano. We laughed and made each other understood. More than enough food for one.

05/12/2024: The "Il Santuario" pizza restaurant is located in a privileged place, in front of the important sanctuary of Pompeii. It's been there for many years. I was lucky enough to know the previous owner and go there often. Now there is the son-in-law, Mr. Alessio, with whom I agreed on a pizza menu for lunch, bringing a nice group of people on November 30th. To have the quality of pizza with a wood-fired oven, even with a certain amount of experience, certainly takes some time but the group appreciated this because in the meantime we chatted and enjoyed company. The pizzas were excellent, among us there was the wife of a pizza chef from our area and she positively appreciated the taste, the dough and the cooking; and so we enjoyed them and the treatment was carried out with the utmost kindness at the tables. And what's more, the cake that had been agreed upon with the pastry chef was truly exquisite; we celebrated an anniversary between us and everyone really appreciated the authenticity and delicate flavor of this sponge cake with hazelnut Chantilly cream and coffee which lifted our spirits and so we could then continue on our sightseeing tour. Thank you Mr. Alessio for your availability and best wishes to all your staff of "The sanctuary" in Pompeii. Until next time!

23/02/2025: This a lovely little Pizzeria and the couple running it were very welcoming. Freshly cooked pizza which my son and I really enjoyed. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. Would recommend.

12/03/2025: Siamo state al locale Sofi di Pompei per una serata tra amiche e non potevamo fare scelta migliore! L’atmosfera era perfetta: accogliente, vivace e con un’energia che ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e sempre attento, facendoci sentire davvero coccolate.

02/02/2025: My girlfriend and I ordered two first courses, including Zi Caterina's gnocco with shrimp and spaghetti and a fried dish to share. The gnocco looked like the kind bought at the supermarket, the Zi Caterina spaghetti was good but the frying was embarrassing, full of oil and not crunchy. Forget it, for €50 there is better.

18/02/2025: Après une journée de visite sur le site archéologique de Pompei, nous avons décidé de faire une pause glace , mal nous en est coûté, apres une attente d'une demi-heure et une file très anarchique, le service était presque à nous , nous etions devant le comptoir mais non d'autres clients nous sont passés devant, les serveuses pourtant ont bien vu que nous etions là prêts à être servis mais elles faisaient comme si nous n'etions pas là, vraiment pas serviables ni souriantes, le systeme des tickets soit disant pour être servi ne fonctionnait pas et ça ralait beaucoup parmi les clients, avec nous en prime, ils ont perdu deux clients ce jour là!!! je déconseille !!

15/02/2025: Una delusione! Patatine, frittatine e pizze che non avevano alcun sapore. Le pizze non sono arrivate nello stesso momento al tavolo..eravamo semplicemente in 5 e la sala non era piena.

07/01/2025: We spent New Year's Eve in this restaurant. The place is practically a closed veranda with sheets from which drafts pass through, my feet were frozen all evening. As for the food, the starters were decent, the first paccheri with seafood ragù, the ragù good, the paccheri overcooked (and you need some to overcook the paccheri!), the second first course, champagne risotto was tasteless completely without salt and above all without Champagne! The second course was a good sea bream fillet but the potatoes on top were raw. Good but frozen apple pie, but the thing that really left me stunned were the lentils, the large ones from discount stores, dry, mushy, completely without salt, unpresentable and inedible, in fact everyone left them. On a positive note, the service, the girls are kind and polite I don't think we will return to this restaurant again

01/01/2025: A delightful New Year's Eve in Pompeii How can we not leave an excellent review for this place, where we were truly welcomed like family members without neglecting professionalism, accompanied by good music as soon as we arrived Antonio, one of the owners, immediately welcomed us like family members, the super active staff, but the jewel in the crown was Gianluca the Chef, also one of the owners who delighted and pampered us with his splendid and tasty fish-based cuisine, all fresh, cooked to perfection but with flavors above many other places in Pompeii, highly recommended. Well done guys, I can only recommend everyone to taste your delicacies. THE TOP of cuisine, hospitality, cleanliness, elegance and professionalism. Well done. Well done..

15/12/2024: Pizza isn't wow but since you sleep at night and don't go out to drink you have to do it again... Very organised, fast service and cleanliness as per standard!

17/03/2025: Large and spacious room. Fast and helpful service. The meat is very good and of high quality. But anyway it is better to specify the cooking of the meat because basically they don't ask for it, at least not me. The sweets are also very good and they have a wide range of them. To return

06/03/2025: Usciti dalla visita a gli scavi in ora di pranzo cercavamo qualcosa dove mangiare,e tra i tanti locali, tutti stranamente chiusi abbiamo trovato l'unico locale aperto, il titolare gentilissimo ci ha accolti e serviti, nonostante il locale fosse tutto pieno siamo stati serviti subito e devo dire tutto davvero buono con prezzi alla portata di tutti!
