17/05/2026: A good, simple, and welcoming trattoria. I had a great time here, with home-cooked food made with quality ingredients and friendly, helpful staff. Excellent for a trip to Pompeii. The restaurant is located near the highway toll booth. The value for money is more than excellent; I definitely recommend it. The only downside is perhaps the parking. It deserves 5 stars, though. I'll definitely return.
08/05/2026: Wonderful and unique! Perfect food, its simplicity enchanted us! We can't even explain the flavor. Third year coming to Italy and the best food we've ever eaten!

10/05/2026: The pizza is excellent. I've been there several times and have eaten several. There are few beers available, especially the red one. The interior is a bit messy, and some of the menus are sticky. There are a few small touches missing, but the pizza is excellent, and I'll definitely be back. The price is fair.
26/04/2026: Good morning, last night I ate Capuano's pizza in Pompeii on the recommendation. I have to compliment the pizza chef, the pizza is excellent, really good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired, disorganization at the most, honestly, it leaves a lot to be desired. Too bad, because the pizza is really good, I definitely won't be returning to Pompeii again!

07/03/2026: Had the margarita pizza. Pretty large portion for only $8. Taste was about what you would expect. Would have it again!
07/03/2026: The food, service, and atmosphere were terrible. It was cold inside, and we were offered a choice of dishes, including some rather nauseating fried fish. The portions were tiny (when we asked for second helpings of fries, they were almost counted), and the fish seemed almost raw. The staff was almost always rude. This was definitely an experience we wouldn't repeat. It's worth noting that we were kids on a school trip who had to spend the entire afternoon walking.

29/01/2026: A nice sit down location before taking a tour of Pompeii. Had a quick sandwich for fuel, it was fine.
23/01/2026: The place is very pleasant. The covered terraces, perfect for keeping warm during the winter, offer stunning views of the city and the surrounding mountains. The food is remarkably good, arriving quickly and piping hot, made with high-quality local ingredients that allow you to experience authentic Campanian cuisine. International dishes are available for children. The service is excellent. The food is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected in a restaurant located next to such a popular tourist attraction.

10/06/2026: We were part of a tourist group that had the €20 set menu. However, we were not informed of what to expect. We received no menus and had to listen to the choices verbally, which was a challenge as the waiter spoke broken English (still many times better than my Italian). I was given the option between two types of pasta, and at no point made aware there would be a side dish or dessert. It maybe a good idea to give future customers a small set menu (print out) they can read and see what they will be recieving for lunch to avoid confusion.
The food in general was o.k, but not really restaurant quality. I was unable to eat the dessert and offered a fruit salad, which I accepted. It arrived and was 2 small slices of melon.
I know this place has a high turnaround of customers from the Pompeii tours, and they have to do their service at speed, but it just feels lacking and poor customer communication.
It's in a great location and could be a great restaurant if they just addressed the problems in the comments.

04/05/2026: We saw the reviews and were a little apprehensive, but our experience was fabulous. The lasagna was spectacular, the spaghetti delicious, and best of all, the pizza was the best! We'll be back! Oh, and the tiramisu was by far the best I've ever had. Great value for money.
22/04/2026: A welcoming place, perfect for a break during a busy day of sightseeing. Friendly staff, good food, and a pleasant atmosphere. Recommended!

16/05/2026: The food wasn’t great. We ordered gnocchi and spaghetti and meatballs. Both the gnocchi and meatballs tasted like they were previously frozen. The atmosphere was beautiful, and restaurant is conveniently located right in front of the entrance to the Pompei ruins. I wouldn’t return. I’d look for something to eat somewhere farther from the ruins where the food is better and doesn’t seem like it was frozen!
15/05/2026: Wonderful hotel restaurant right outside the entrance to the Pompeii ruins. Delicious food, great service.

30/05/2026: I'm not giving it a lower rating because I can't. We sat down at a table (which they hadn't even cleaned, by the way) and ordered a couple of Cokes (the glasses weren't even there). A little while later, one of the waiters came over and told us, quite rudely and unfriendly, that we couldn't sit at the table unless we ordered something to eat. There wasn't a sign indicating this, by the way.
In short, I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.
21/05/2026: Tried to order 2 coffees to either takeaway or sit down. We ordered at the bar, sign at tables state after 11am you can order then sit. Told 3 differing versions by disinterested staff. Coffee provided after 10mins & other orders made.... Coffee wasn't worth the wait, worst in 3 weeks in EU. Could do 4x the business if less mayhem & indifference prevailed. 🤔

17/11/2025: Unfortunately, we made the mistake of not asking about the prices beforehand – they weren't displayed anywhere. We also had to wait a very long time for service. We were initially charged €20 for two 0.33-liter beers. Only after I inquired was the amount reduced to €12. The items on the bill were incomprehensible. Overall, it seems like a rip-off to me.
10/11/2025: The classic tourist trap that ruins Italy's image. No prices displayed (creative strategy, I imagine). Two takeaway coffees + a day-old sandwich: €15.
Not an Italian tradition, but a tradition of ripping off tourists.
Italy deserves better. Tourists too.
