09/09/2025: During our stay in Pompeii we dined in this restaurant which truly deserves its Michelin star: the tasty menu with a perfect wine pairing and the chef's visit at the end of the dinner convinced us.

21/09/2025: The sliced ​​octopus and risotto were delicious, packed with flavor. I especially recommend ordering the sliced ​​octopus. It was a good idea to make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant was fully booked. On our way back, we were also able to choose a bottle of wine to take home as a souvenir, which we purchased at a great price.

12/10/2025: Easy to reach from the Mariconda ring road, large car park, meticulously maintained, a place where you can spend time with God. Next to the church there is a small football pitch, well-equipped with a bar and showers. The pitch is strictly fenced and closed, with all the internal spaces.

16/09/2025: A very good, authentic restaurant. The service is impeccable. For example, when we ordered a lemon soda, we were immediately offered a freshly squeezed juice. What a question! Simply fantastic. I highly recommend the Bruschetta Napoli and the Bolognese with homemade pasta. It's something truly special.

18/09/2025: Magnificent place. With spectacular service, attentive and fast. Always attentive to the customer. The food is excellently prepared. The octopus risotto will bring tears to your eyes. A 10 all around.

18/09/2025: A class apart. As soon as you step inside, you notice the attention to detail here. With attention to detail, you're spoiled for both the experience and the taste. It's a shame we weren't hungry enough to eat more, because this restaurant truly pleases foodies. We'd love to come back!

19/09/2025: We have been in Rome for the last 3 days and we came to Pompeii and this is the best pizza we have had so far in Italy. Amazing!

16/09/2025: What a gem in Pompeii. Lovely restaurant with a Roman atmosphere, wine from amphora and wine goblets. Delicious food. And friendly, hospitable service by Augusto. The food is delicious and more than enough. It's wonderful to have this oasis of peace with a beautiful courtyard in bustling Pompeii. Parking is available in front of the door (free).

15/09/2025: Pleasantly surprised at finding this gem of a restaurant. Great food and atmosphere is just what is required after a long hot day visiting the ruins of Pompeii. Ask for the Lemon dessert - it does not disappoint !

08/09/2025: A real treat from start to finish! We tried a little bit of everything: the penne, the gnocchi, the 4 cheese pizza, the fried fish and even the meat... everything was delicious. The server was lovely, the chef excellent and the prices very reasonable. I recommend 😀

20/09/2025: A must-visit if you're spending time in Pompeii. Just a short walk from the archaeological site, this is an absolute gem. We ordered à la carte: uovo morbido and palamita for antipasti; risotto caprese and linguine alla colatura for primi; nasello alla brace, agnello laticauda, and coniglio for secondi; tarte tatin, meringa e limone, and nocciola, pere e caramello for dolci. Everything was exquisite, and the meal was punctuated by additional little dishes, compliments of the chef. The chef here really knows what s/he is doing, the wait staff is super professional, and the atmosphere is pleasant and sophisticated. Highly recommend and will visit again.

07/10/2025: A pleasant surprise in beautiful Pompeii! After spending a day visiting the excavations, this certified gluten-free restaurant was recommended to me. The food was excellent, from appetizer to dessert.

12/07/2025: Pessimo servizio Cameriere scostumato. Mi hanno servito una fetta di spigola sfilettata piena di spine ed alla mia lamentela il cameriere mi ha suggerito di non ordinare pesce se non gradisco. Ho mandato indietro il piatto e preso un hamburger e nel conto avevano inserito anche la spigola. La qualità dei prodotti,come vengono cucinati e il servizio non sono adatti al nome. È la seconda cattiva esperienza. Non andrò più.

10/07/2025: In tegenstelling tot andere beoordelingen vonden wij de pizza's niet lekker. We waren een maand op reis en nemen dan af en toe een pizza. Maar op 14 mei 2025 ('s avonds) was de pizza nogal slap. Een beetje pannenkoek structuur. In Italië zegt men wel dat een pizza met de hand kan eten. Dat was hier beslist niet het geval. 30/09/2025: Pompeo Magno a restaurant in Pompeii. It was chosen because of being listed in the AIC app and because it is away from the town centre. However, the menu had NO vegetarian dishes, apart from one option for a gluten free pizza. There were two celiac (and one is vegetarian too) and three on ordinary menu. The coeliac and vegetarian person decided for a fennel rice mini ball starter (a tiny portion for 9E) and cacio and pepe penne pasta (the pasta was way too uncooked after 25 min waiting). The person ended up eating a portion of rocket salad, which should have been offered by the owner after the client complained about the coeliac pasta being raw. The service was not welcoming for a coeliac and vegetarian. I would not return to this place ever again.

21/09/2025: Casa Gallo Ristorante is a real guarantee! The dishes are excellent, carefully prepared using quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the owners exude passion and professionalism in everything they do. A place you'll always want to return to. I recommend...try the oysters, excellent quality and expert preparation. An unmissable taste experience!
