10/08/2025: Locale su una splendida terrazza affacciata sulla spiaggia di Marina del Cantone apparecchiatura curata in ogni minimo dettaglio il menù è ampio con ampia scelta di piatti della cucina tradizionale locale e altri di innovazione e rivisitati con cura,e attenzione ingredienti freschi e di qualità la presentazione dei piatti è molto curata e piacevole da vedere il servizio è attento e mai invadente curando le esigenze e richieste del cliente la carta dei vini è vasta con etichette campane e non solo curata con professionalità da Domenico che vi consiglierà al meglio si conclude con una varietà di dolci che vi sorprenderà per freschezza e bontà curati personalmente con maestri dalla signora Mery il prezzo è in linea con quanto.offerto.da locale dove è sempre un piacere tornare per assaggiare le loro specialità in un contesto di qualità familiare.

06/03/2026: A truly beautiful location, but let's all remember: Article 180 of Royal Decree No. 635 of May 6, 1940, establishes that food and beverage establishments must disclose their prices. No frills. Then you end up paying an exorbitant price, which is truly unpleasant and disappointing, bordering on feeling cheated, especially if you've had a reasonably good time. Even if we're talking about people just passing through, transparency and fairness make the difference. At least in my experience of the restaurant business on a daily basis. Happy holidays!

11/01/2026: Visited this restaurant out of season. Wonderful, right by the sea. The fish, shellfish, and crustaceans are among the best I've ever tasted. Cooked to perfection. Pay attention to the excellent gluten-free option! A special mention for the spaghetti with sea urchins, memorable! Extremely kind and welcoming service. Fairly priced for the quality of the products. Well done!

04/09/2025: This is a must go to Ristorante when in Sorrento. Incredible food, friendly and accommodating staff. The owner even made a special dish for my wife and the sunset over the Bay of Napoli was so beautiful.

20/08/2025: I recommend it. Everything was perfect, kudos to the cleaning lady, as rooms this clean and tidy are hard to come by. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, which was plentiful, but the food I don't like.

08/12/2025: Last Saturday, we had pizza dinner for 12, with a €20 menu and unlimited drinks, including one GLUTEN-FREE option. We'd already celebrated there several times, and we've always had a great time, so we chose it again for that evening. The menu, which included a fried appetizer, a choice of pizzas, and unlimited drinks, was excellent, plentiful, and of good quality. Unfortunately, there was a glitch. When the appetizers arrived, the gluten-free option was also delivered correctly. However, when it came to the pizzas, due to a communication error, a GLUTEN-FREE pizza was delivered to the person with celiac disease, who started eating it. We didn't make a fuss because we understood the mistake, and yet, when the maître d' was delivering the correct gluten-free pizza, he approached us with such arrogance and presumption, accusing the celiac customer of not paying enough attention to his pizza, as if it were his fault and he should have realized it was the wrong pizza. This unpleasant misunderstanding would have been resolved amicably if only the maître d' hadn't behaved so rudely, addressing us so rudely. Mistakes are human, especially during busy times, but we need to be very careful about food intolerances and have better communication among staff when dealing with unusual situations like this, especially when they're reported at the time of booking. We were disappointed by this behavior and reported the incident to the manager, who, however, acted as if nothing had happened, making the matter seem unimportant. It's a shame, however, that customer health is not something to be trifled with.

07/12/2025: Excellent Pizza and Fried Food. Compliments. I will gladly return. Being in the sector, I can only say: keep it up.

28/12/2025: Only someone who doesn't understand a thing about cooking, and probably not even about good food, can give "Ristorante Il Gambero" a star. Here, you "eat really well," but above all, you eat with an open mind: you have to let yourself be guided by the chef's suggestions, who has a personal, unconventional vision and—not to mention—is also "very nice in his own way." This is not the place for those who put on airs, for those who want to be pampered every three minutes, or for those who mistake obsessive attention for quality. If you need constant confirmation or to feel like the center of the universe, "look elsewhere." You come here to eat, to trust, and to appreciate authentic cuisine, without unnecessary frills. The "value for money" is excellent, a rare thing these days, and the overall experience is more satisfying than many restaurants that are "starred" only by reviews. Recommended for those with "a good palate, curiosity, and a modicum of self-irony." Everyone else can just keep giving stars at random.

16/10/2025: The hours listed are wrong. Walked a mile in the rain to get the pizza on the menu. Arrived at 5:30 and was rudely dismissed. Not open until 7pm and no pizza. Guy was way ruder than he needed to be.

14/08/2025: GO HERE RIGHT NOW. This place was right next to our hotel but its right on the transportation bus stop. When I say this place is exceptional, it is. My husband and I love local places off the map is this service, food, atmosphere was exceptional. Its outside of the city with beautiful sunset views, they have a pool FREE AND OPEN TO EVERYONE, a cocktail bar for the pool and restaurant with the most unique, beautifully crafted cocktails (and I am a bartender). The bartender KNOWS his craft. Don't order a drink, have him make you something based off your liquor choice because he never steered me wrong. They grow their own herbs outside the restaurant and create their own olive oil/lemonchello on the grounds. Pasquale was an incredible waiter who takes hospitality as an art. He was kind, professional, attentive-- and we truly felt like we were friends by the time dinner ended. He was so kind, that he even cut up my fish for me knowing that I was a little hesitant to see a "whole" fish on a plate. The food was great. This place deserves upgraded new reviews because whatever old reviews are posted-- are NOT what this place is now. This needs to be a viral location.
