23/07/2025: We stopped by for a lunch during the trip in Capri, that was late March, just before the season opening so there weren't many places open yet. Al Capri was recommended by our Italian tour guide. The place is specious with lots of tables available, clean, with breath-taking views, decorated in Mediterranean style which is very welcoming. We ordered pizza and spaghetti al limone. That was best spaghetti I've had in Italy during the whole stay. The pizza was good, it didn't make in the top 3 out of 10 we tried though. Good selection of wine. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was served in timely manner. The places has lots to offer, including the beautiful decor and views, good food and location- it's off the main square so it's not so crowded but still close La piazetta.

18/07/2025: Attirati dalla musica romantica di un bravo pianista live, ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante a pochi passi dalla famosa piazzetta di Capri. Subito accolti con gentilezza siamo stati accompagnati al tavolo a noi assegnato. Il nostro cameriere Angelo ( di nome e di fatto ) ci ha consigliato e coccolato. Il mio “Fusillone ai frutti di mare” è stato a dir poco sublime. Vista spettacolare e atmosfera incredibile. Super consigliato! Nancy B.

It seemed there was trouble at another table that day as well, and the same thing happened there—forcing customers to accept dishes they didn’t order. To make matters worse, we overheard them speaking loudly behind the scenes, badmouthing customers. They assumed we didn’t understand Italian and said whatever they pleased. The manager was strict in reprimanding subordinates for their mistakes, yet when it came to their own, they pushed the blame onto guests. This is an extremely problematic manager, and we were deeply disappointed. A restaurant run by someone like this will never thrive. 13/07/2025: One of those places you have to visit at least once in your life because they're iconic. Among the Faraglioni of Capri, there's a hidden spot where time stands still. A restaurant on the rocks, with a beach club bathed by the most crystal-clear water you can imagine. It's undoubtedly heavenly music for the senses. Take a taxi boat to get there by sea, reserve a table and a sunbed, and enjoy what could be an unforgettable day. Good food, good service, although exclusivity doesn't come cheap. That's a given.

06/07/2025: Stunning slice of heaven. It is a bit of a walk or boat ride to get here. The food was good. Even my daughter enjoyed it. The chairs and umbrella are pricey, but honestly, not unexpected. My favorite part was the boat ride back.

25/08/2025: I ate very well and I found a dessert that they created ecstatic, the TETTA DELLA MONACA, a thousand times better than the snowflake of poppella, their dessert is fantastic

20/07/2025: We ordered water and a few drinks, but after waiting for around 30 minutes, nothing was served—not even the water. We had to call the waiter ourselves, and at that point, we decided to cancel our order and leave. Very disappointing experience. Definitely won’t be coming back.
