28/06/2026: I stopped by this restaurant last month when I visited Capri.
The staff were friendly, which made me feel at ease.
It was the most delicious Caprese salad I've ever had in my life, and I was deeply impressed! The lemon ravioli had a slightly strong sourness in the sauce. The tables with majolica-patterned tiles were stylish, and I enjoyed my meal in the refreshing atmosphere of the restaurant, which is typical of Capri.

01/05/2026: Dang, I should have looked at the reviews. I just needed a place to sit for a few minutes while waiting for my ferry. I looked at their drink menu before sitting, noticed it didn't show any prices, but (my mistake) sat down anyway. Now I know why they don't show them. A little cochina cocktail cost 20€ and an aeperol spritz was 17€.. and they asked if I wanted to leave a tip. We were there for ~10-15 minutes. For reference, we were paying 7€ per Spritz at a nice place in Rome a couple days ago. Another reference point: I had the best dinner of this entire trip today around Positano. We had 2 pizzas, 1 large beer, 1 generous pour of wine, and 2 complimentary shots of lemoncello - all for 36€ including table and parking fees. I also had lunch for two for 17€. So yeah, Bar Grotta Azzurra charges more for mediocre drinks than what you'll pay for dinner + drinks elsewhere. The servers were friendly and attentive, it's just a bummer to be overcharged so severely and sneakily.

02/08/2025: Another place that has lost its charm.
Tables very near to each other, behind me waiters kept passing like on a motorway hitting my chair every time.
The prices have increased so much: a plate averages 50/60 euros. Portions are generous though.
You need a mortgage for a wine, where the least expensive glass is 18 euros.
At a certain point the waiter collected bread from the table without even asking if we were still eating it. Puzzling.
The crowd used to be so stylish and now there’s so many loud tables.
Food is good, but not exceptional, in fact rather forgettable.
A free frozen limoncello at the end is a nice touch.
27/07/2025: Tuvimos un buen almuerzo en este encantador restaurante junto al mar, cerca de la Grotta Azzurra. Lugar muy concurrido, pero súper servicio y muy buen rollo. Matteo nos cuidó muy bien.
Para empezar, la ensalada de langosta para compartir era muy bueno, el pescado como principal ok. Las vistas increíbles. También había una tienda emergente Dior y club de playa adjunto.
Gran selección de vinos. Postre buffet inmejorable. Música en vivo, súper agradable.
Asegúrese de que el restaurante pida un taxi antes de irse. Reserva necesaria.

05/07/2025: Recomiendo mucho este encantador restaurante. Increíbles vistas del atardecer con fabulosos cócteles. Luego cenamos en el encantador restaurante cubierto, la comida era increíble. Recomendaría el pulpo a la plancha (pruébalo, ¡el mejor que hemos probado nunca!), luego el risotto de marisco estaba increíble. El traslado desde y hacia el restaurante fue muy de agradecer. Un servicio encantador y una velada inolvidable. ¡Gracias!

14/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante x un ricevimento : mancavo da un po' e sono restato sbalordito dal servizio e dal cibo perfettamente preparato e buonissimo ,innaffiato con dell'ottimo lacrima cristi del Vesuvio : COMPLIMENTI , da ritornarci sicuramente !
04/07/2025: Ho mangiato una ottima pizza , la pasta leggera un po’ diversa da quella classica napooma molto buona e soprattutto ottimi ingredienti. Alla fine cheesecake fantastico

20/10/2024: waren aber jetzt enttäuscht: der Fisch war in Ordnung, aber der Spinat definitiv so alt, dass er bitter schmeckte. Es war auffällig, dass die vielen Kellner und sogar der Inhaber zu keiner Zeit fragten, ob wir zufrieden seien.

13/03/2025: Ho organizzato un pranzo con le mie amiche in questo ristorante centralissimo nella splendida piazza, difronte alla chiesa di Santa Sofia. Nonostante fossimo in 15 la proprietaria e il suo staff ci hanno offerto un ottimo servizio, veloce, senza lunghe attese nonostante le ordinazioni tutte diverse.
Abbiamo mangiato benissimo sia la carne che il pesce e la signora Susanna ci ha anche omaggiato di una piccola bottiglia di limoncello.
Ci siamo trovate benissimo e soprattutto abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo che ci abbiano dato la possibilità di apparecchiare la tavola personalizzandola con i nostri colori.

30/04/2025: Comida media y en su mayoría muy turística ya que se encuentra cerca de todas las tiendas. Tuvimos pizza y cotoletta di pollo y en general están bien.
28/04/2025: Giornata fantastica, tutto molto bello fino al momento del pranzo, ristorante consigliato dalla nostra guida,cibo scandaloso, camerieri impresentabili e location fatiscente. Quindi non accettate consigli dalle guide perche hanno un tornaconto personale

18/05/2025: Très bel emplacement mais très mauvaise expérience gustative. Saltimbocca insipide et excessivement cher. Obligé de réclamer la salade mixte d'accompagnement prévue sur le menu et qui n'a pas été servie, la raison étant qu'il n'y avait plus de salade! Remplacée par 3 rondelles de tomate.
Catastrophique, surtout pour le prix.
Dommage, je n'y retournerai pas!i

19/11/2023: Locale sporco disordinato da segnalare alle autorità.Sembrava di stare nei peggiori bar di Caracas…carne immangiabile servita su un piatto sbeccato è filato chissà da quanto tempo…lo sconsiglio a tutti.
