21/08/2026: We stopped at this restaurant because it was very cute, but as soon as we entered we were surprised by how cheerful and friendly the staff was. Mr. Edoardo at the counter made me the best coffee in Naples. I recommend this place for the warm welcome, the kindness, the very affordable prices, the good food, and, above all, because it's so noticeable compared to other places. Maximum respect to all the staff! Thank you!
17/08/2026: Today, among the many menus at Anacapri's tourist spots, I finally found something truly special. I was seated at the restaurant on the first floor, and it was a truly fantastic experience: octopus balls on a cream of Castellamare artichokes and a wonderful sautéed escarole with olives and anchovies. I discovered that the restaurant is a Slow Food Italian restaurant, which means it uses top-quality local products. The olive oil is a must-try; needless to say, I'll be back. The owners and staff are very kind. The price is very fair.

01/06/2026: Enjoyed the food very much. The prices were reasonable, and the quality was outstanding. The drive up to the restaurant is an experience in itself, with beautiful scenery along the way. A great touch is that the restaurant provides its own driver, who will pick you up from your hotel and take you back afterward, making the whole experience convenient and stress-free. Highly recommended.
01/06/2026: A fantastic weekend on June 2nd in this breathtaking location. The hotel and service were impeccably maintained. The staff were courteous and always available. The restaurant also deserved top marks.
We'll definitely be back.

20/08/2026: The argentinian waiter was super nice and we loved him. But the food took like an hour to get to us. Just leaving this here as constructive criticism and not to discourage anyone from going.
19/08/2026: 🇪🇸 If you visit the island of Capri, don't hesitate to stop by Anacapri and have lunch or dinner here. We loved it.
The owner, Nacho, is charming, and both he and the rest of the team gave us excellent service. We were also very happy that he spoke Spanish.
The food was incredible. We ordered homemade pizza and eggplant, and we can say without a doubt: the best pizza we've had in Italy! 🍕🇮🇹 The eggplant was also spectacular and came with bread.
In addition, the atmosphere is beautiful. The restaurant is charmingly decorated, and especially at night, the lighting creates a lovely and cozy ambiance. ✨
We're on our honeymoon and have been to Rome, Sorrento, and Capri, and honestly, this has been the best place we've eaten during the trip.
A perfect 10 experience. If we return to Capri, we'll definitely come back.

12/08/2026: The place has a beautiful view, but it's extremely expensive for the poor service. The sun loungers are all old, the bathroom is very bad, and the beer is warm.
11/08/2026: I loved this place. It's less crowded than I expected, allowing you to swim while admiring the beautiful seabed. There's also an affordable bar and restaurant that I highly recommend.

15/08/2026: A restaurant where you can dine among lemon trees. The atmosphere is fantastic.
I tried the lemon pasta, which isn't on the menu but they'll make it for you if you ask. It was refreshing, but not so delicious that I'd want to eat it again and again.
15/08/2026: La Zagara is enchanting! The atmosphere is so beautiful surrounded by beautiful lemon trees and lush vegetable gardens. The service may be the best I ever encountered in my many travels. The food is delicious, we had Sea Bass and a special Cod dish, both outstanding! Everything is prepared to perfection. Bravo to the chefs! We ended with a fantastic lemon dessert the was beyond words!
Lastly if you are a wine drinker you will love their extensive collection and we really appreciated the wine sommeliers help in our selection.
Thank you to everyone at the restaurant for making a beautiful evening for us. And thank you to the owner Marcello Pollio for welcoming us and sharing your passion for hospitality, food & wine!

16/05/2026: Dishes of average quality and execution: lemon linguine drowned in cream, immediately sent back and opted for grilled vegetables. There are definitely better options in Anacapri. €22 per person for a decidedly mediocre lunch.
13/05/2026: The staff is extremely kind and cheerful (a nice smile never hurts). The food is very good, despite being a restaurant that caters primarily to tourist groups, and is served at just the right pace, neither too slow nor too fast. The restaurant is located on a beautiful promenade in Anacapri; it doesn't have a view, but the alley is quaint. The price is reasonable.

19/09/2025: A friend of mine vaguely recommended this place to me, Giorgio. Persuaded by the food featured on Google Maps, I called a shuttle (for free) and arrived at this restaurant, a beautiful, dark place with an incredible view. When I sat down, I realized I'd mistaken the name for a one-star hotel in town, but I was excited anyway. The bread seemed homemade, which was a good impression, but the food I ordered was disappointing. For 30 euros, this quality was enough to make me feel cheated. The view was great, so I was happy.

If you're looking for good, authentic Italian food on Capri and don't want to pay the typical tourist prices, you should definitely stop by here!
This price-performance ratio is anything but a given on Capri. The pizza is very reasonably priced and exactly what you'd expect in Italy: uncomplicated, fresh, and absolutely delicious. 🇮🇹🍕
But the fish dishes also completely won us over. The squid salad and the baked salmon were incredibly tasty, and the selection of seafood is truly impressive. Fresh, flavorful, and generous portions, see photos 🦐🐙🐟
On top of that, the team is incredibly friendly: warm, practical, uncomplicated, and without any touristy fuss. You can eat in and simply feel comfortable.
The pizza is delicious. Especially in a tourist hotspot like Capri, where you can easily end up paying a lot of money for rather average food, Al Buco is a real hidden gem for us.
Good Italian food, fair prices, great quality, and friendly people – what more could you want?
Absolutely well-deserved 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent service from two young and talented people: Silvia and Manuele, the boyfriend, Silvia and Emanuele's future husband.
03/07/2026: The service was good and atmosphere also, with the piano guy and singer playing nice live music. But the food really didn’t live up to the standard for a 2 star Michelin restaurant , and we paid 600€ per person for the tasting menu and wine pairing. Tasting menu didn’t even include meat. Le monzu was way better and cheaper.

We received a very warm welcome and made a wonderful discovery: the BlueGrotto Spritz, which I highly recommend.

06/07/2026: I came here a few times with a friend while in Anacapri. Service was always excellent. We always felt welcome and the staff were happy to answer our questions. The food was authentic and FRESH. Their recommendations were always spot on, specially pertinent to seasonal produce and dishes.
03/07/2026: Incredibly nice waiters. Good menu but the food did not meet the quality that the prices reflected. Expensive and mediocre food.

16/10/2025: Unfortunately the only negative experience of a wonderful weekend in Capri is Anacapri, the price/quality ratio was incorrect but above all the service was inattentive and the dishes arrived cold. When we pointed this out they acknowledged the mistake but did not take any action.
