28/09/2025: Above-average pizzas, light and tasty dough, average appetizers and fried foods, but... the wait time between appetizers and pizzas completely ruined the temperature of the drinks, and prevented us from enjoying the combo. The service definitely needs improvement, as does the quality of the food, and the atmosphere could be more welcoming. We'll try again during the week.

28/09/2025: We ordered takeout. The pizza was very good, soft and easy to digest.

04/09/2025: This is a must go to Ristorante when in Sorrento. Incredible food, friendly and accommodating staff. The owner even made a special dish for my wife and the sunset over the Bay of Napoli was so beautiful.

20/08/2025: I recommend it. Everything was perfect, kudos to the cleaning lady, as rooms this clean and tidy are hard to come by. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, which was plentiful, but the food I don't like.

09/09/2025: Nice and convenient bar, especially if you're staying nearby. Very friendly and courteous staff, especially Mario, a smiley guy and, as they say in Naples, very chic. Highly recommended, and the breakfast is varied and very good.

08/07/2025: Recommended for the kind and helpful staff, but not recommended for the air conditioning, which remains a major problem.

08/04/2025: Good dishes, although a little pricey! 6 appetizers, 10 first courses, 2 second courses, and 2 side dishes, drinks, and cover charge... €280! Do the math yourself! Nice place, friendly staff, but again... prices are a little high!

04/12/2025: Quiet bar, generous aperitifs at super prices, excellent staff always available and good desserts too.

30/11/2025: The best around! Knowledgeable staff, always courteous, the pastry shop is excellent, and the owners are incredibly kind.

16/11/2025: Poor service. Music only recommended for those over 60/70. The location is small and unwelcoming. I even found a dirty glass, and when I asked for a replacement, no one came. I strongly advise against it.

02/11/2025: I haven't had the pleasure of trying this place, but I can say that the impression I got simply by calling to make a reservation was truly negative. How can you respond to a customer calling to make a reservation: "Fondo Lazzaro, tell me?"... I was perplexed and asked him to repeat the question to make sure I hadn't made a mistake, and he repeated: "Fondo Lazzaro, tell me." It's a real shame if this place offers so much. I hope it's not the owner who responds like that, but an employee, and that this review of mine can be helpful. I'd love to be able to eat the things a dear friend of mine told me about.

25/10/2025: The owner/manager (or so he acted) didn't make us feel very welcome. The rest of the staff was fine. The food was okay, nothing special. A 25-cent wine was charged for the price of three-quarters of a glass, which isn't very kind.

20/10/2025: A classic '90s trattoria... and sadly it's still there, complete with a time machine parked outside, along with two dried-up plants at the entrance. The omen was already there from the welcome: the owner, gruff and unfriendly, seems convinced that a smile is optional. Given the proximity to the sanctuary, a little more empathy for those arriving wouldn't hurt. Let's move on to the food: small portions for a trattoria, quality... let's say "nostalgic." The appetizer of "sfizi" was almost entirely potato-based (perhaps they had a surplus), and to add a touch of mystery... different from what was served at the other tables! Perhaps a new form of secret customization. The first course, "matasse e ceci," was bland and the pasta overcooked. As if that weren't enough, the chefs came out of the kitchen to fetch ingredients directly from the fridge into the dining room: a spectacle unlike anything you'd see in a theater. Given this premise, we wisely decided to stop at the first ones. Goodbye... never again (except for time travel).

15/11/2025: Fresh produce. Ideal location and excellent service. 100% recommended.

12/11/2025: Food is fine, sometimes pretty good. Service can be fine or mediocre as they can get crowded and want to seat many customers. If you are having a good day, I think this meal will not harm your good mood, but if you are stressed by the crowds in Amalfi then this may not be ideal.

16/02/2025: We ordered the tagliata: the meat wasn't fillet, it was a thin slice, undercooked, seasoned with coarse salt, almost inedible. Local wine costing about the same as Brunello.

07/11/2025: Good morning, a terrible experience in everything, poor quality food, cod, never seen paccheri with a sprinkling of rosemary, which you struggled to eat, besides seeing the same pasta, well, I'll stop otherwise a review wouldn't be enough, not to mention the boiling hot pastiera full of water, which was rated zero.

22/10/2025: Chef Diego's warm welcome immediately stands out, making you feel at ease even if it's your first time here. The food he prepares is excellent. My wife and I were very pleased. The quality/price ratio was excellent. As someone who's very picky, I can honestly say there's nothing negative to say. I've told Chef I'll be back, and I will.

18/11/2025: The panuozzo alla Tommaso and the classic panuozzo are two dishes you absolutely must try. Perfect for those who prefer their panuozzo made with bread, not saltimbocca dough.

08/09/2025: Perfect service and food! The atmosphere is welcoming and makes you feel at home, and the waiter is amazing! He's handsome and talented! 😉

20/07/2025: The pizza has gotten much worse, and the prices are very high.

10/09/2025: We had the steak (medium-rare), mixed salad, and French fries. The steak was fantastic. Unfortunately, there was no salt or pepper on the table to season the meat or salad. Highly recommended; we'll be back.

08/09/2025: A very welcoming restaurant in the main square, with very friendly staff and excellent service. Delicious food made with fresh ingredients and home-made wine. Breathtaking views from inside.
