08/06/2025: Very nice little restaurant right on the temple of Serapis in Pozzuoli. Very large menu with a wide choice of appetizers, first and second courses. We took potato and cod croquettes; unfortunately the cod did not arrive! Very tasty and abundant. The tuna tartare. Truly excellent! First course based on fellone crab; even in this case, if there had not been crab on the plate I would have said that it would have been an excellent spaghetti with cherry tomatoes! What a shame! In a little restaurant in Pozzuoli, the flavor of fish in the dishes cannot be an optional. Very kind and knowledgeable staff. Prices a little high in my opinion. I will return with the hope of finding the sea in the dishes!

18/05/2025: On day 2 of our unscripted motor tour from Naples to Florence via the Amalfi Coast, we again found ourself looking for a place to stay. We came across Tenuta Montelauro on Google maps. Having heard and read so much lately about agritourism, I was anxious to give it a try. My guess is that they don't get a lot of walk-in guests, so were probably a bit confused by our unannounced arrival and request for 2 rooms for the night. That confusion quickly faded and their hospitality and cordiality shined through. The entire facility seems nearly new. The rooms are large and comfortable. We had first floor room (one above ground level) that opened onto a large shared patio overlooking heavily forested grounds. This place specializes in their own dry-cured meats. You pick your cut of meat from the curing "closet". Servings are one kilo per couple. Even with the bone-in cuts, this is an ample serving. The table was set with a generous charcuterie board and a small side salad. The entire meal, including desert and 2 bottles of a very nice local wine came to a bit over €35 per person. Breakfast, included in the €70 fee per room was equally generous in size and every bit as delicious. We believe you cannot go wrong with this hotel. I rate it excellent in every regard.

26/05/2025: Typical Neapolitan family-run trattoria that offers traditional Neapolitan dishes. The place is very nice, characteristic, rich in history and references to Neapolitan culture. The cuisine is home-made, plentiful, the dishes excellent. I have often ordered take-out food in the past, and recently we celebrated a small ceremony: the organization was precise and impeccable, the dishes as always excellent and the service excellent. The party guests also liked it a lot. Very honest prices. Parking available on the street right in front of the place. I highly recommend it.

19/06/2025: What can I say... the first time you arrive it's a dive into the colors and flavors of the coast. A cuisine that at first glance seems simple, but in reality it is designed to give you unforgettable flavors. It feels like being in the sweet life... fantastic welcome, even the clothing of the staff and the owner are in keeping with the atmosphere you breathe. I arrived at sunset... I recommend it

The managers are kind, always ready to recommend the best of the area. Perfect for those seeking relaxation, authenticity and beauty. We will return!

03/03/2025: EVERYTHING PERFECT!!! I don't leave reviews unless I'm overwhelmed positively or negatively!! Memorable evening, my wife and I are in Bacoli for a short holiday, it's Sunday evening, by chance we find a place in this family-run restaurant (which we had the pleasure of knowing). GINO, the waitress, welcomes us (I write it in large because it was impeccable), who immediately seats us and brings us some water then leaves with his suggestions but we stop him immediately because we have specific cravings, 2 octopus salads, 2 spaghetti with sea urchins (very good). Gino recommends a good falanghina, despite the gluttony of the very fresh octopus filling us up! I ask for an encore but on the grill and a salad for my conscience (super top), my wife a plate of broccoli and we finish with a very soft babbà!! I know you don't believe it but the bill didn't reach €100, they offered us bitters (but we passed) and they gave us a discount!!! We truly thank everyone! From those who cook for the preparation and presentation of the dishes to the family who gave us advice and contacts for staying at the top and the impeccable Gino!!

06/04/2025: it must have been the fault of the eighteenth in the other room but we had to wait MORE than an hour and forty minutes for veal fillets (which were also quite small but priced at €18) cooked differently than requested. good service, the waiters were visibly desolate and apologized for the long wait. value for money, questionable. From what I've been told the waits aren't usually that long but I can only judge what I've experienced. nice place.

01/06/2025: Un bar fantástico para parar a apertivi y disfrutar de la vista y el ambiente de Cetara. Gran servicio y precios razonables. Su menú de ginebra es fenomenal. Disfruté de su característico cóctel, el Cetara Garum Sour.

Un oasi naturale…..Menù fisso molto ricco di prelibatezze naturali… il personale è giovane ed è molto garbato… oggi 2 giugno 2025 pieno di gente…. Ha una vista stupenda nel silenzio della natura…. We booked the tour with the tourist agency. €80 for a return ferry, bus from the port to the center and lunch, first course, second course, side dish, fruit, and water. We arrived and when we asked if we could eat outside, they sent us to a table at the back of the room, half dark and very close to the bathroom. We ate two caprese because they were vegetarian. We had to go and ask if they could bring us a coffee because no one came to ask us anything anymore. We felt like second-rate tourists. Rude staff.

The fifth star is heartfelt for the maraschino, increasingly rare in restaurants. Overall simple menu - no gourmet options - a couple of choices of land and sea. Menu, second course, side dish, fruit and glass of wine €25.00
