28/08/2025: If it were possible to give it 10 stars, I would. A property in the heart of Tropea, just steps from the seafront and offering every comfort. A gem. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Tropea, enjoy the town, the crystal-clear waters, and stay in an oasis of peace. Recommended for both families and couples. Book now—you won't regret it!

19/08/2025: The restaurant is an excellent choice for those who love authentic flavors, especially Tropea onions, the star of a richly varied appetizer and two first courses, one of which can easily be veganized by omitting the pecorino cheese without sacrificing flavor. The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive to every need, and the owner was particularly thoughtful, bringing me freshly picked figs after noticing my interest in the ones next to the cake. The location is welcoming and well-kept, and the dishes are refined and flavorful. The experience was very positive and delicious, although the price was high, commensurate with the quality and attentiveness of the service.

26/08/2025: Il Marchese di Tropea is an intimate, elegant, and romantic restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere that immediately captivates. There's little to say about the food: it's truly excellent and absolutely worth a visit. The fish is incredibly fresh and carefully cooked, and every dish is a delight. My only complaint is the truffle, which had a bit too much cocoa, making it a bit difficult to enjoy, but overall, the experience was spectacular. The staff is friendly, personable, and very professional, always ready to make guests feel at ease. A special mention goes to the owner: a genuine and passionate person, attentive to every detail and capable of conveying even more value to this place with his story. A restaurant I recommend without hesitation: it's truly worth it. I hope to return soon.

28/08/2025: The B&B owner recommended this restaurant. We tried it once, but we didn't look elsewhere. We returned for another four dinners! We tried both the à la carte menu and the pizzas. Despite the crowds, the service was quick and efficient. The menu had a good selection without being overwhelming. The dishes were plentiful, beautifully presented, and, above all, well-cooked with quality ingredients. Reservations are essential during high season!

09/07/2025: A sandwich shop in the center of Tropea with outdoor seating. The sandwiches are average, neither good nor bad, but decent in size, unlike those at well-known fast food joints. Prices are reasonable. The waiters are polite and friendly. Recommended for those who want a sandwich and don't spend too much in the center of Tropea, which has become difficult.

16/08/2025: Beautiful restaurant in the center of Tropea, but the service was too slow. The risotto was overcooked (it seemed precooked), and the mussel soup was acceptable. Needs improvement!

11/09/2025: We ordered an Insalata Tropeana, but there seemed to be some confusion: at first a simple tomato and onion salad was brought, and then another bowl, closer to what the menu described. On the bill it appeared as two salads, although only one had been ordered, which was a bit awkward to clarify. Everything else was tasty and enjoyable, so hopefully in the future such situations can be double-checked more carefully — especially when serving guests in English.

29/08/2025: We arrived at 21:30, it's 22:30 and we're still waiting for food. Furthermore, it says closing time is 23:00. There's zero interest, almost no one speaks English, and it's incredibly difficult to communicate. I was embarrassed when I saw what they presented us as pizza. We ordered a salad, but it didn't arrive; there was a mistake on the bill (and the table across from us had the same problem tonight). They sent two limoncellos to apologize, but I don't think such things can be compensated. They shamelessly charge a service fee, and we are paying for a service we can't even receive. It's truly sad...

29/08/2025: I've been to many restaurants in many countries. I've never seen such poor service in my life. The food was tasteless. Very simple dishes took over an hour to arrive. The salad I ordered never arrived. When the bill came, I saw several different prices and asked for them to correct it. In short, it was a bad experience.

14/08/2025: We happened upon this place with my family... The plates and dishes arrived cold at the table. The staff was rude, and as soon as we finished eating, they looked at us as if we had to leave immediately to replenish the table with others.

13/08/2025: Our dinner at Alice was not great. The restaurant is overpriced and there is a second-class service for non-Italian speakers. The waiters are poorly trained and some of the cutlery was not cleaned well.

05/09/2025: What at first glance appears more like a tourist restaurant is a surprise. We were seated within a few minutes, and the cuperto and menu were quickly brought to us. With so much to choose from, it was hard to decide—in the end, we opted for spaghetti vongole and the like. The food was authentically Italian, and the spaghetti vongole was perhaps the best we've ever had. The half-liter of house wine for just €5 also impressed us. We enjoyed it so much that we came back on our last evening in beautiful Tropea. A lovely place to start/end our vacation.

30/08/2025: Lido la costa degli dei is a beach where people go to have fun with their children and relax enjoying their holidays. Go there but I recommend you bring sea shoes with you, the sea is beautiful.

23/08/2025: Excellent quality food, fresh ingredients, and excellent seafood spaghetti. I should point out that I tried to book by phone and was told there was no room until three days later. When I walked by and asked, just to be sure, they gave me a table at 7:30 PM. We shared some courses, which were served separately. Great customer service, perhaps even too much. I was pleasantly surprised that in an AIC-certified restaurant, which is dedicated to gluten-free dining, there was a €3 surcharge for each gluten-free dish served, in addition to a €3 cover charge per person. This didn't happen in other restaurants that were kind enough to prepare gluten-free meals for a celiac, despite not being AIC-certified. Overall, a pleasant dinner.
