31/08/2025: The pizza was really, really good. I haven't had pizza like this in years, and it's incredibly hard to find anything this good these days! Congratulations! The staff is friendly, the girl even gave me a gift of candy when I left! The atmosphere is rustic, truly Neapolitan, a rare place to return to. And, what's more, the bathroom is spacious and clean! The price is fair, everything is fine, but the pizza is top notch!!!

03/09/2025: This is my must-try every time I'm in Savelli. The owner is friendly and always offers the best recommendations. The menu is typical of the Sila area, with a generous appetizer that changes daily and a variety of courses, catering for all tastes, from cured meats and cheeses to vegetables prepared in various ways. The first courses are delicious. The wine list is extensive, with many typical Calabrian wines. A must-try if you're in Savelli. Excellent prices, around €30 per person, including Pizzo truffles. 05/09/2025: A beautiful place, incredibly kind staff, delicious food. In short, I didn't want to go home. Coming from someone who's homesick after four days... This place has one major flaw, unfortunately, it's addictive. If you've been there once, you have to come back. For me, it's become a favorite place. The problem is that every time you arrive, it's a joy, but leaving is always a great disappointment.

12/10/2025: We had lunch at Kuta on October 12th, and I must unfortunately confess I have several complaints about the experience: right from the start of the meal, when we wanted to order a light appetizer to prepare the meal, the waiter overzealously urged us to order two because—in his opinion—there wouldn't be enough. The result, however, was a lot of leftovers that went back to the kitchen. When it came time to order our first courses, we weren't allowed to choose and were instead forced to stick to a Christening menu: we'd been given paccheri, but the fusilli we ordered were overcooked and tasteless, most likely cooked before we'd even had a chance to finish our generous appetizer. As for the main course, we were offered an entrecôte, as there was no option for a slice. Despite the person who ordered it clearly expressing their desire for it well-done, the dish arrived rare, uneatable. The child accompanying us—who ordered a cutlet and fries—received what was clearly a supermarket cutlet. The service was, therefore, inadequate and unwelcoming, with a marked lack of flexibility in meeting the customer's needs. The only positive note was the location, where we particularly appreciated the painting right next to our table, featuring a photo of dear Massimo.

12/10/2025: Wonderful place, where everything you order is delicious, from the high-quality cured meat platter to the fries, not to mention the excellent meat and delicious pizza. I can tell you that we discovered it a couple of years ago and today it is one of our favorite places, the owners are super welcoming and professional, I highly recommend it.

The meat was simply exceptional, tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection... the kind that makes you want more without thinking twice. The staff was impeccable: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Marco and the entire team made us feel at home, with a genuine hospitality that is rare these days. An experience that stays in your heart... and especially on your palate! We'll definitely be back.

29/10/2025: Admittedly, it's the off-season, so it's very quiet. Therefore, my experience is based on three visits at the end of October. I received a warm welcome, and this restaurant is one of the few where I could communicate in English. The food was perfect. I ordered a pizza Emiliana with lots of delicious, fresh toppings and had fried seafood, which was prepared in a typical Mediterranean style. For me, the price was perfectly reasonable considering the perfect location overlooking the castle. I come from a peninsula in Germany with a lot of tourism, and the prices were comparable. My special thanks go to the waiters Funmi, Tommaso, and Julio, and to the wonderful kitchen staff!

19/09/2025: We're on holiday in Calabria, and after visiting Le Castella, we stop at Ristorante da Mario. Everything is excellent. There may not be a sea view, but what matters is that you ate well. Recommended.
