19/08/2025: We were there on the evening of August 16, 2025, with my wife and children. In short, we sat at the table, and it took 35 minutes for the order to be taken. Then I noticed that the waiters only saw regular customers, so at a certain point I got up to bring a waiter to the table, and after that, 50 minutes passed before the pizzas arrived... In any case, in my opinion, they're unprofessional... and finally, they're also expensive... not keeping up with the standard.

18/08/2025: Welcoming place on the sea, owner and waiters very helpful, friendly and nice, we had lunch on the day of Ferragosto based on fish, ate very well and abundantly

22/07/2025: The owner is a truly rude person. I won't go into what happened here, but he was truly awful. I feel sorry for his staff, who are kind and helpful. The one-star rating is mainly due to the service. The calzones were inedible. The arancini, so much praised by many, tasted strange, but perhaps that was due to the excessive heat at the time. You've lost a lot of loyal customers. So next time, be more polite and helpful.

27/08/2025: Booked via phone then arrived and they didn’t have our reservation booked in the booklet/ system. Sat and waited for food for over 1.5 hours and did not receive any complementary bread / nibble while we’re waiting for our main dish. Main dish (Pizza) are were under cooked, clammy/ raw dough. Seafood Linguine arrived cold poor service from staff Manager did seem to bother or help and passed us back to the waiter.

27/08/2025: We rented an umbrella and enjoyed the beach. Beautiful quiet experience.

05/08/2025: If you're passing through the charming village of Santa Severina, stop here for a meal. We had lunch on a beautiful, cool veranda at the foot of the castle. The mixed antipasto with local produce was excellent; the first courses were flavorful and plentiful. Service was courteous, if at times hesitant. Prices were fair. Special mention goes to the very kind lady who runs the kitchen and recommended it to us, and to the delightful owner, who won over my daughter, crowning her queen! Dogs are welcome.

02/08/2025: Everything was perfect! Views of the castle on one side and the Sila Mountains on the other; excellent ventilation on an otherwise hot day (thanks to the staff's wisdom in seating us outside); absolutely magnificent food (and I'm speaking as a Florentine!?!); impeccable service, courteous and available to answer any questions, requests, or clarifications...in short...full marks!!!!!!

13/08/2025: Terrible experience... a warm bottle of wine was served at the table; we asked for glasses more than once. The first course was served without cutlery, which we asked for several times, and in the meantime, the first course went cold. It was a hot evening, and they didn't turn on the fans that were keeping it warm. The only positive note was a single, efficient waiter.

23/07/2025: Excellent fresh fish dishes, especially the grilled sea bream as a second course and spaghetti with clams, delicious starters and abundant dishes, very welcoming staff and excellent value for money

07/08/2025: We were greeted immediately and seated even though we hadn't booked. The food was excellent (special mention for the spaghetti allo scoglio!), and the service was prompt and courteous.

05/08/2025: Delicious pizzas for a great price. Huge selection of different dishes. The tartufo and cheesecake were also delicious. Friendly service, nothing to complain about.

18/08/2025: I stayed at the Hotel Lo Scoiattolo long enough to recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, relaxing stay. The staff deserves five stars for their kindness and hospitality...especially Sandra, who manages the spa, who guided us through the entire experience with kindness and knowledge. Kudos also to the staff in the dining room and the receptionist. Dinner and breakfast were plentiful and high-quality. My only suggestion for the spa experience: given the number of people who can use it, it would be advisable to turn on all the hot tubs to avoid long waits, and to raise the temperature of the pool that is not being used by everyone because it is too low. Recommended.

03/05/2025: Personale accogliente e attento, pesce fresco e vista impeccabile. Mangiare un piatto a base di pesce stando coi piedi sul mare e la vista verso l orizzonte è un esperienza unica, piatti deliziosi, impossibile non apprezzare i dolci fatti in casa, si mangiano già solo con gli occhi! Torneremo sicuramente 😋🤤😍

23/04/2025: Gambero Rosso es un lugar encantador en una ubicación costera perfecta en Crotone. Disfrutamos especialmente de las tardes soleadas en su balcón con vistas al mar, ¡un ambiente tan relajante! La pasta con gambas estaba deliciosa, las bebidas eran geniales, y el servicio era cálido y acogedor. Muchas gracias al propietario, su esposa, y especialmente Francesco por hacer nuestras visitas tan agradable!

14/07/2025: Pesce FRESCO E DI OTTIMA QUALITA'. PERSONALE GARBATO. LOCATION GRAZIOSA. Prezzi esagerati soprattutto in relazione alle quantità servite particolare limitate. Offrite come 1/6 dell'antipasto una sola alicetta marinata mi sembra davvero irridente. Così come pagare per due acque da litro 8 euro, salvo errori della cassa!
