17/03/2025: We have returned once again to this fantastic place. Weekend spent with friends, this time there were 10 of us. We were assigned 4 rooms including a couple a quadruple room was assigned so that we could all be close together, paying a simple double room. This gesture should make us understand the kindness and availability they have towards the guest, because it is not for everyone. Lunch and dinner have a completely different menu every day. Everything is delicious and plentiful as always, even with some of our special requests they had no problems, on the contrary... they pampered us in every sense. Wonderful spa, very professional massage.. We are only sorry not to have found snow, but that is an atmospheric problem unfortunately 😅 Mrs. Emanuela is very kind as are all the staff, including the owners. The structure is very large, I think the largest in the entire Palumbo village and immersed in the heart of Sila, a stone's throw from the lake, there are many attractions such as horse riding, bobsleigh tracks and quad rental and a ski lift in front of the structure. A fantastic place not only in winter but also in spring and summer. Thank you very much to all the Lo Scoiattolo staff, we will see you again.

09/02/2025: Consiglio di leggere le ultime recensioni perche' tutte veritiere, non esiste un menu cartaceo quindi non sapremo mai i prezzi singoli x portata, mi e' stata data la ricevuta del pos e nessuno scontrino fiscale! I Prezzo x 2 persone : 70 euro di cui 2 antipasti, 2 primi , acqua e 2sorbetti, la cucina buona ma non pesce fresco ( visto il brutto tempo le barche non stanno uscendo) ,location bella e rispetto alla vecchia gestione pochissimi tavoli ( ora si capisce il perche') !consiglio di dare sto benedetto menu come previsto da legge bisogna esporre i PREZZI

I find it a small oasis of paradise, a very quiet and welcoming room, with friendly and kind but above all prepared staff. Starter very well presented and with fresh ingredients. The view of the sea is also splendid

11/01/2025: Siamo tornati dopo 10 anni a Santa Severina e in questa locanda. La cosa che mi ha favorevolmente stupito è che quando ho telefonato per prenotare il proprietario si è rivolto a me chiamandomi per nome. Dopo dieci anni e una sola volta. Oggi abbiamo preso un antipasto favoloso con dei salumi eccezionali, zucca fritta, zucchina ripiena, polpette di patate al pepe rosso, melanzane, ricotta freschissima, olive. A seguire covatelli alla silana e assaggio di ravioli, per finire scaloppine di vitello ai funghi porcini e patate alla silana. Il tutto cucinato in modo casalingo e leggero. Siamo stati veramente bene. E che dire dei profumatissimi mandarini che ci sono stati offerti? Ci torneremo spesso quest'estate.

29/12/2024: Very negative experience, attention to allergies non-existent I was deeply disappointed by the superficiality of this pizzeria. I had clearly specified that I was allergic to a certain ingredient, but I was still served a dish that contained it. Not only did they not take my report seriously, but they didn't even apologize for what happened and didn't provide me with the list of ingredients when I asked for it. Lack of attention to allergies is unacceptable and can have serious consequences. I would not recommend this place to anyone with special needs or allergies.
