The last rays of sunshine are truly beautiful; every evening at sunset, they accompany the setting sun until its last rays with music and people. Very enchanting!
25/08/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at Salotto Aragonese several times during our week-long vacation and were truly delighted with the experience, both for the quality of the cuisine and the splendid location. This restaurant is truly enchanting: it overlooks the sea, and the large panoramic windows offer a marvelous view of the Aragonese Castle of Le Castella. At 8:00 pm sharp, the castle lights up, making the spectacle even more captivating. It's one of those views that makes dinner an experience, not just a meal. We were also impressed by the service: the staff were friendly, attentive, and attentive, yet not intrusive. Furthermore, despite the restaurant being busy, service was quite quick, which we greatly appreciated. As for the food, we sampled several dishes: an appetizer of meatballs stuffed with shrimp and lime mayonnaise, followed by the Spaghetti del Cavaliere, made with chopped raw shrimp and lime oil. They were delicate and very pleasing, with the shrimp lending a fresh and refined touch to the dish. The grouper-filled ravioli with scampi cream were also excellent: a bolder, creamier dish, with a flavor combination we found truly successful. The paccheri with clams and pistachios are also highly recommended for those who particularly love pistachios. On our last day, we also tried the "Regina della Calabria" pizza, with Callipo tuna, red onion, mozzarella, and pistachio flowers. We were especially won over by the dough—really good, well-made, and a pleasure to eat—as well as the combination of ingredients. The hamburgers and fries were also exceptional! The prices? Very fair!!!! Overall, they were very pleasant dinners, in an elegant and charming setting, with a spectacular view, especially at sunset, top-notch food, and service that positively contributed to the experience.
