21/09/2025: Everything very nice, room overlooking the sea, very beautiful beach, excellent restaurant, fair prices.

07/09/2025: The location is excellent for the sea, practically on the beach, with excellent umbrellas and loungers (the only thing worthwhile about the hotel). The room, with bathroom, is very large, with a small terrace, air conditioning, TV, and small fridge. However, the furnishings are generally dated and absolutely in need of renovation. Some details, photos of which are attached, are unacceptable in a 3-star hotel. I asked for the sheets with holes to be replaced, and they replaced them with torn pillowcases! On a positive note, the price is affordable, considering that a night for two people with breakfast and use of the beach equipment includes the tourist tax of €81.

19/11/2025: Walked 25 minutes just for the sign to say ‘closed for vacation’. Everybody deserves a vacation but for the love of God change your opening times online. Such a disappointment!

21/08/2025: A fantastic evening at Kalua Restaurant! We dined here as a family and had a truly wonderful time. Nicodemo, as always, was a guarantee of quality and friendliness, and his service was impeccable. The fish dishes were excellent, fresh, and expertly prepared; every bite was a unique tasting experience. The service from the ladies was fantastic, friendly, and efficient; they made our evening even more special. I highly recommend Kalua Restaurant to anyone looking for a high-quality experience and friendly service. A place where you can eat well and spend a pleasant evening with friends.

This brand-new restaurant, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, begins with an endless array of appetizers: ricotta, ovoline, cured meats, provolone, eggplant parmigiana, exquisite onions, caponata, fettuccine with fantastic porcini mushrooms, sliced ​​meats, mixed grill—in short, everything is wonderful, locally sourced and cooked with love. The service and friendliness are 100% recommended. Prices are below average.

03/10/2025: We had Pizza Sapori della Sila and Pizza Frutti di mare. Both were generously topped and very, very tasty. The house white wine was also good. Service was quick. We'd be happy to go back.

31/05/2025: We celebrated my daughter's communion at dinner. There were about 30 of us. We started with appetizers: we had chosen a cold cuts platter and for some chips, as soon as we were all seated, they proceeded with the pizza order and after a minute they brought the platters (medium sized, with three types of cheese, some black olives in the center and three types of cold cuts present several times, all accompanied by good bread); the chips arrived shortly after, so the wait was understandable and in line with the cooking times, ketchup and mayonnaise in the center, rating 7.5. The service: much appreciated, they were able to mark the times well by asking for consent, always present, very attentive to the possible lack of drinks or other, and quick to satisfy every request, well organized, rating 9. Finally fantastic pizza, we were all very satisfied, excellent ingredients and perfect cooking, rating 10. Drinks: still and sparkling water, beer, coke, this is what we preferred, but you could also choose other drinks. Good value for money. We were able to set up the room in the morning, so we had no problem with the times of the communion. They also serve pizza for celiacs.

20/07/2025: Excellent hotel, exceptional staff, especially Mr. Fabio, who seriously recommended places to eat excellent fish... top restaurants... not like others... the only flaw being a 4-star hotel on the sea there is no common or personal area where you can hang out wet costumes and towels... good breakfast but not always for everything, especially for those like me who got off around 9:20... inside there is a very nice permanent exhibition for those who like pop art... I think I will return next year, spacious, clean room, comfortable bathroom and even Sky in every room... very comfortable bed... parking... mini bar and safe included

27/07/2025: Wonderful place right on the seashore... The service was great. But the food was awful: pizza with no sauce, pasta with clams without the clam sauce. A seafood appetizer that I have no words to describe how disgusting it was... We asked for some piadina bread, but they didn't serve it... We waited an hour and a half to receive our order. We were there in July on vacation and everyone had good things to say about this restaurant. Well, we'll never go back!

15/11/2025: Beautiful place, welcoming atmosphere, and highly professional service and hospitality. The pizza is truly excellent: I had a "Mano a Mano" and it was delicious, but the four others with me were also very satisfied. The price is average for a place of this caliber. One small point, probably due to the full dining room and the staff busy managing everything with great energy: no one asked us if we wanted coffee or a liqueur after the meal. But it was Saturday night, and a slight distraction is more than understandable. Overall, everyone was really good!

24/07/2025: Agriturismo curato nei dettagli, personale gentile , materie prime di ottima qualita’ e prezzi nella media, punto di forza specialita’ carne alla brace……personalmente vorrei consigliare di migliorare e potenziare il menu’ senza glutine abbinandolo al senza lattosio ( perché comprare una semplice mozzarella senza lattosio che ormai le vendono tutti I supermercati per condire la pizza gluten free, non la vedo una cosa così difficile ). Spero che questo mio consiglio venga ascoltato , perché sarebbe un ‘ ulteriore punto di forza per il locale, dato che la zona non offre tanta scelta per gli intolleranti ……da consigliare

29/08/2025: The best restaurant in Castella!! We went to this restaurant three times during our vacation and always had a great time! Excellent quality fish, perfect waiter service, and very fair prices, with a wonderful terrace view!
