You can immediately sense that hospitality isn't just a gimmick here, but a genuine passion. The food was excellent – top-notch in terms of taste, fresh, and prepared with great care. The service was attentive, professional, and pleasantly personal. A truly harmonious experience. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
03/10/2025: We had Pizza Sapori della Sila and Pizza Frutti di mare. Both were generously topped and very, very tasty. The house white wine was also good. Service was quick. We'd be happy to go back.

21/08/2025: A fantastic evening at Kalua Restaurant! We dined here as a family and had a truly wonderful time. Nicodemo, as always, was a guarantee of quality and friendliness, and his service was impeccable.
The fish dishes were excellent, fresh, and expertly prepared; every bite was a unique tasting experience. The service from the ladies was fantastic, friendly, and efficient; they made our evening even more special.
I highly recommend Kalua Restaurant to anyone looking for a high-quality experience and friendly service. A place where you can eat well and spend a pleasant evening with friends.

The cuisine is a true statement of identity: an extraordinary reinterpretation of traditional dishes, crafted with skill, balance, and respect for tradition, without ever being forced.
A delicate touch is clearly evident in the combinations, naturally showcasing each ingredient. The products used are genuine and of truly superior quality, and this makes all the difference in every course.
The setting is also worthy: a beautiful and refined location, a clean restaurant, meticulously maintained, and even the bathrooms are impeccable. Everything reflects the owner's love and care in his hospitality: there's a sense of order, attention, and respect for guests that is by no means a given these days.
The details also deserve special mention: the orange marmalade, simply exquisite, is one of those flavors that lingers in your memory and speaks of artisanal care and excellent ingredients.

20/07/2025: Excellent hotel, exceptional staff, especially Mr. Fabio, who seriously recommended places to eat excellent fish... top restaurants... not like others... the only flaw being a 4-star hotel on the sea there is no common or personal area where you can hang out wet costumes and towels... good breakfast but not always for everything, especially for those like me who got off around 9:20... inside there is a very nice permanent exhibition for those who like pop art... I think I will return next year, spacious, clean room, comfortable bathroom and even Sky in every room... very comfortable bed... parking... mini bar and safe included

08/12/2025: We ate well, all seafood-based, the stew was excellent, I found a splinter of the shell in the peppered mussels, the price of 36 euros per person for an appetizer, first course, and second course was very good, it's a shame you can't choose à la carte; if you want just a second course or a first course you pay the same amount, the staff were friendly, the bathrooms were very large, and the nice thing was, there were fresh flowers. It's a shame there isn't a very visible sign outside.
26/10/2025: This restaurant is a bit unremarkable, both in terms of location and menu. It offers seafood dishes with a €29 fixed-price menu featuring a choice of three from nine options. The dishes are well-prepared, but there's no hint of traditional ingredients, and the menu is a bit out of place.

29/12/2025: Christmas 2025. Excellent and beautiful restaurant overlooking the sea with a stunning view. Lunch with excellent dishes, rich in flavor with unusual ingredients, excellent service too. In conclusion, this is a place I absolutely recommend to Le Castella. We will definitely be back. Well done!

To get there, you have to travel along a steep road through the countryside, but once at the top, you'll be rewarded with stunning views. This brand-new restaurant, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, begins with an endless array of appetizers: ricotta, ovoline, cured meats, provolone, eggplant parmigiana, exquisite onions, caponata, fettuccine with fantastic porcini mushrooms, sliced meats, mixed grill—in short, everything is wonderful, locally sourced and cooked with love. The service and friendliness are 100% recommended. Prices are below average.
26/08/2025: Spectacular views of the hills and the Ionian Sea; typical local specialties, all homemade. Dairy products, cheeses, cured meats, vegetables, olive oil, wine, and artisanal liqueurs. A must-try!

27/07/2025: Wonderful place right on the seashore... The service was great. But the food was awful: pizza with no sauce, pasta with clams without the clam sauce. A seafood appetizer that I have no words to describe how disgusting it was... We asked for some piadina bread, but they didn't serve it... We waited an hour and a half to receive our order. We were there in July on vacation and everyone had good things to say about this restaurant. Well, we'll never go back!
