06/01/2026: We had a great time 😊 simple and sincere cuisine👍 a lot of attention 👏 we had been served hot appetizers that arrived cold (it can happen) we reported it, and the boy who served us immediately took care of having them redone🎉 the rest of the lunch was excellent 😋 we will definitely be back soon.... compliments for everything!!!

01/01/2026: Impeccable service, courtesy and a smile, all the dishes are delicious, simple yet carefully prepared. A welcoming place with a long tradition and experience, a splendid view, and reasonable prices. If you're passing through, you can't miss this place!

12/12/2025: During a weekend in Maratea, I had dinner at Cesare. A restaurant serving traditional seafood. The food was fresh and well-cooked. Good value for money. I highly recommend it. It's open on Mondays, which is a plus.

07/09/2025: I love their variety of coffees, I drank one every evening on vacation, I miss them so much! I came back this summer 2022: always fantastic! Obviously I came back again this year (2024, also 2023) everything was fantastic! I came back again this year 2025, everything was excellent.

21/10/2025: Considering it presents itself as an elegant and luxurious restaurant, unfortunately, you have to have high standards. The meager dishes are acceptable, but the mussels and clams are not. The clams were poorly washed and had sand on them, which is not good considering the price of the dishes. All good, the view is excellent and the staff is friendly, but that's about it. It was certainly a fluke, but you have to be careful to avoid reviews like that.

16/11/2025: A place with a beautiful view, unfortunately the place is surrounded by flies. Long pasta dishes served with a priest's dish that is absolutely not suitable for the type of pasta. Excessive prices for the quality served. In short, absolutely not to be missed. The only good thing was the wine, but why don't they produce it?

26/10/2025: Delicious food, friendly service, nice and peaceful off season and enough choice for a couple of vegetarians!

20/09/2025: We walked up without a reservation and were seated right away. The waitress was excellent as was the food. We had the fresh fish of the day and split it between us. It was worth the money.

11/10/2025: We stayed at Borgo la Tana during the two central weeks of August. The property is beautiful, with well-kept gardens and spacious rooms—ours, a mini-apartment—with a small table and chairs outside to enjoy the cool evening breeze. The rooms are extremely clean and practical, equipped with drying racks, handy soap dispensers for both shower and hand soap, and a wall-mounted hairdryer. The entire staff was very friendly, from the cleaning ladies, always ready with a smile and ready to "fix" the mess on the beach, like sand and pebbles everywhere, to the waiters, who were also present but not pushy. The cuisine is varied, with both local and non-local meat and fish dishes, and there is a discreet and efficient restaurant manager who oversees the main meals. The property's true treasure, however, is Mr. Aldo, a man in love with his homeland, provided us with information on the main beaches to visit and any special offers available at the resorts, right from the first evening. He also provided pocket-sized brochures to take with us to reach our desired destinations. Finally, a special mention for the self-service breakfast we enjoyed every morning: homemade cakes, traditional pastries, fresh figs picked every morning, and honeycomb! 23/09/2025: We arrived as guests for a few nights. The rooms were excellent, clean, and the air conditioning worked well. On the first evening, we enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. It was tidy and the service very friendly. For us, it was very bright, which perhaps made the atmosphere a little less romantic. You can clearly see what you're eating. Both the tuna and the swordfish were overcooked and dry, but that might be due to the Southern Italian way of preparing them. For hotel guests, there's a breakfast buffet next to the pool. When we arrived, we thought it was a sandwich shop, but you can point to what you want and it's brought to you. Again, the service was very friendly. Swimming caps were required for the pool, an old Italian tradition we've encountered less and less frequently, this year only at Borgo La Tana.
