16/12/2025: Excellent, very light pizza. If you visit Matera, you must dine at this pizzeria. Besides the delicious pizza, they also serve pucce, exceptional aperitifs, and much more, even for breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially the owners. Definitely worth a try.

01/01/2026: We went for lunch with the family. The house appetizers, strascinati mollicati, ricotta ravioli, cod, cruschi peppers... everything was delicious, highly recommended. The only problem is the location is very anonymous and the entrance is difficult to find.

15/12/2025: Excellent... if you like frozen food Terrible experience. I ordered a pork chop and was served a piece of meat that was clearly defrosted (and badly defrosted) in taste and texture. The serious problem is that the menu didn't have any asterisks or indications that it was frozen. Paying for fresh food and eating frozen food that wasn't marked is not only a disservice, it's disrespectful to the customer and an unfair business practice. The meat was inedible. Not recommended for those looking for honesty and quality.

18/11/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant in the historic center of Matera by chance, and I must say we were lucky after having rejected at least four other restaurants that didn't inspire confidence in our search for local, homemade delicacies. Excellent welcome from the kind and attentive waiter... We don't know his name, but he was Venezuelan and exuded great empathy and professionalism. Excellent, authentically Lucanian and homemade food, as shown in the attached photo. Cavatelli alla Lucana and Lucanian sausage. Ash-crusted potato. We recommend it. Valerio & Francesca

10/02/2026: Highly recommended agriturismo, large room and bathroom with all the comforts. Not to mention the owner, Erika, is very kind and available to satisfy any request. The food...what more can I say? Look at the photos...they speak for themselves. Everything is delicious and homemade.

01/02/2026: A very welcoming and charming place. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We only had lunch here after returning from a Sunday outing. Being a farmhouse, they offer seasonal, artisanal dishes. They also offer a set menu, which includes courses from appetizers to fruit and dessert. Everything is delicious and high-quality. À la carte lunch is also available.

01/02/2026: Everything was fine until dessert: they'd forgotten both the coffee and the favors. Also, the €1.50 coffee seems a bit excessive. The desserts were also overpriced, simply reheated (€6 each). When paying, the receipt hadn't been issued. I don't recommend this service.

25/01/2026: Everything was very good, the only flaw for me was a pinch more salt in the pasta. But that's just a small thing :D

28/10/2025: Today, my wife and I, already customers of Ristorante 900, wanted to have lunch and stopped in around 2:10 PM. Unfortunately, we couldn't, because we were told the kitchen was already closed, even though the restaurant was still open. We weren't even given a seat, let alone a cold dish. Eventually, we found another restaurant that welcomed us very warmly, where we were able to have a peaceful lunch. We're regulars at restaurants, but we'd never had an experience like this.

18/08/2025: The wait was very long, both for ordering and for our food. We asked for more bread and were told they were out of bread. I don't know what pizzeria it is. We read "Nutella pizza" on the menu and were told by one, "No, we don't make that anymore," and another, "Nutella is out of stock," so make up your mind. Covered with a tablecloth and paper napkin, we were charged, and there weren't a single dessert listed on the menu.

01/11/2025: Ordered two takeout pizzas and two panzerotti for 8:45 PM. The pizzas were ready after 30 minutes, but unfortunately, the panzerotti that had just come out were sold and not put aside for my order. Moral of the story: I waited another 10 minutes for the two panzerotti. Arrived home with two cold pizzas. Not even a single apology.

08/12/2025: Typical flavors that inebriate the palate. Excellent selection of ingredients and wines. Very hospitable and kind people.

08/12/2025: The space is divided into several small rooms. The color of the walls matches the color of the placemats, and the table setting is simple. The bread was good, arriving freshly warm and available in two varieties. There was also whole-grain bread in addition to the plain bread. We ordered a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, and two first courses were well-described on the menu, each one highlighting the ingredients. Olive oil was used wisely, carefully measured in the dishes, even in the second course of sausage with turnips. Local sausage is traditionally fatty and delicious, but that fat was not noticeable on the plate. The desserts are all freshly assembled on the plate. The bases were delicious, with chocolate biscuits, milk and vanilla cream, and chestnuts, and the sugar was well-measured. We also appreciated the delicious crumble, milk and vanilla cream, and crusco pepper flakes. The mastery in the kitchen is evident, as is Valerio's extensive knowledge of wines and products, and Antonella's attentive service and courtesy. A team of motivated and well-prepared young people, with a broad scope!

16/02/2026: A decent and affordable restaurant and pizzeria with a wide menu, perfect for families and groups with diverse tastes. It's not particularly convenient to get there.

20/11/2025: A very nice restaurant and pizzeria. A very interesting place on the gentle slope of the volcano near Melfi. Atmospheric interior with a fireplace. Very good food and friendly service. I recommend it.

23/01/2026: The summer location is very nice, but the winter one is cold and unwelcoming. The real highlight, however, is the meat, which is delicious. I recently had a Black Angus steak that melted in my mouth. As for the prices, I have to say it's not exactly cheap...but what isn't these days?

11/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorantino lunedì e siamo stati benissimo. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e oltre a deliziosi piatti del territorio, siamo stati accolti dal personale gentilissimo che ci ha fatto accomodare anche prima dell' orario di apertura per permetterci di trovare riparo dal caldo materano. Sicuramente quando torneremo a Matera passeremo a trovarvi. Grazie ancora

03/01/2026: The food quality was very poor, but we ate until we found a hair in our food. Not to mention the overall ambiance, which was quite dirty. Unfortunately, there were only a few restaurants open.

24/11/2025: I discovered the restaurant during a photo shoot at the Monticchio Lakes. Tasty appetizers, well-prepared first courses, and excellent second courses of tender meat. The house red wine is good. The staff is very polite and the owner is friendly. Reasonable prices. As for me, I'll repeat the experience if I'm in the area.
