23/07/2024: Scoperta per caso grazie a una trasmissione televisiva. Cucina casalinga, con porzioni abbondanti e tanta qualità. Con una ventina di euro a testa ti sazi abbondamente.

29/08/2024: Bad place to end up in. The rooms are poorly maintained, with half-broken showers and without even a mat on the floor. Upon arrival there was no hot water, things that can happen, but when we pointed it out we were hastily told that the boiler was broken and there was little that could be done about it. The dinner was also disappointing and not even at a good price, with some abyss represented by the local specialities, such as the timballo (a hard and very salty tile) or the grilled lamb produced by the owner (only to then discover that apart from two pieces of lamb the rest were sausages, chops and pork belly). The owner continued to behave in a surly and rude manner, practically throwing the dishes on the table. When after dinner we asked how to get hot water, he told us that either we would take a cold shower for a laughable €20 discount on the price of the rooms or we could leave. We left.

03/08/2024: The dishes are well cooked from the little I was able to taste and this does them credit, the place to sit and have lunch on site is nothing special, unfortunately the prices are excessively high: starting from the cover charge made to pay 2 euros per person to sit on tables without tablecloth, to be served with disposable plates and glasses on a canteen tray and a precisely counted paper napkin doesn't seem the best to me, at least the cutlery was of metal; furthermore, the dishes were just tastings, a fish-based saucer or a mini dish with hot food at 9 euros per course seems really exaggerated to me (the courses were truly mignon); a plastic bottle of mineral water (from a supermarket) for €2.50 is a steal! I don't think I will go back.

02/08/2024: Starting from the sign outside, wrong and with obvious writing errors, we went a few days ago for a quick lunch after many hours of travel and from the sign we could see a rich menu. We decide to go in and when asked for simple olives, the shop assistant also tells us in an annoyed tone that they don't make them but that there is only what you see at the counter. At the counter there was little else, like roast chicken (the only one that had even been deleted from the menu outside) and some fried food and meatballs. We order two portions of fried food because the sales assistant (always with a very annoyed tone) showed us that one portion was abundant and we therefore sit at the table outside (obviously not set). When the fry arrived, it was so little that two portions were barely enough for one person. Very high bill and above all €8 (€2 each) cover charge for a non-existent cover as the trays also had to be brought back EDIT: the review was done 2 years ago, for some reason it remained pending until yesterday. That's what we found at the time, I remember well. The chicken can also say that it hasn't been made for 15 years, my family and I remember eating it perfectly.

26/08/2024: Perhaps the most beautiful place between Martinsicuro and Giulianova. It's a shame because it has many negative notes. I book an event advertised on social media and ask for the pizza menu (I don't eat fish) for €25. The other option is the fish menu €35. When we arrived, our table was in the dance area, in front of the loudspeaker with very loud music (not because of the high volume but it wasn't even possible to converse), the table was partially set, without a tablecloth and with water from the ice basket pouring fell everywhere, table not balanced. About 50 minutes waiting for someone to come over to take the lead; Nobody. They are warned to serve us. I ask about the pizza menu and they say that the dough has run out and that if we wanted to stay for the dinner/show we had to spend €35 ​​each with the fish menu or à la carte menu. We got up and left. Nice place, terrible organization and staff.

04/09/2024: Cenato in coppia con a seguito il nostro cane, due volte in una settimana di ferie in questo locale in centro a Pineto. Ambiente semplice e cordiale, accoglienza ottima, cibo molto gustoso e prezzi super. Vale sicuramente la pena cenare se di passaggio a Pineto

20/08/2024: Servizio molto cortese. Primo piatto freddo, servito in piatto piano. Quando mi hanno chiesto se andava tutto bene ho consigliato di servire i primi nelle fondine per evitare il raffreddamento, mi han risposto che bastava dirlo, ma non avevo voglia di aspettare ancora e mangiare da sola. si poteva fare di meglio. Comunque Grazie alle ragazze che servono.

05/09/2024: The gluten free pizza is okay (but there is much better in Tortoreto or Roseto). Unfortunately when you order gluten free, you never get to eat with anyone else at the table as they can’t get the timing right. Be prepared to watch you table eat their entire pizza, and get served after everyone finishes so they can watch you eat. Makes for an awkward dinner. The gluten free is also almost double the price

31/08/2024: Ok, so traveling around, different countries, we always like to share our experiences especially when it comes to great food. Under the #cookfresh we have been sharing our experiences for quite a few years now. Unfortunately not all restaurants receive a 5 Fork rating. This restuarant definitely fell short. It was not even so much about the food, rather then the complete arrogance of the restaurant owners of this family run business. Not only was there an issue with the food, which the staff knew was not worthy of serving to customers as they would not even come over to see if everything was ok. When we finally brought it too there attention, the server made mention to the owner, who responded by charging us full price. I then told the owner how bad the pizza was and they became extremely defensive, mocking me for being "American" which I am not, I'm Italian/Canadian. I agreed to pay for half of the bill, as the salad was nice, however we did not touch the pizza, it was horrible. They refused, telling me "We're not sure how you do things in America, but if we dont like something we say nothing and just pay the bill." After arguing back and forth, I told her fine here is your 28 euros. I am utterly shocked that a restaurant owner would cause such a scene over a few euro's. I then looked at the reviews of The Wolf, the majority of the reviews were quite similar. Rude, arrogant and completely untraditional Abruzzo cuisine. There are so many amazing family run restaurants in Alba Adriatica, I suggest avoiding this one! Ciao for now.

19/08/2024: I'll start by saying that from a place that makes grilled meat its flagship, I went there with a certain expectation. Unfortunately it went badly. Very confusing place, in addition to fine meats they also make kebabs and burgers, and therefore it is full of tourists and screaming children, plus the place is not soundproofed, so the whole mess echoes. Tried Japanese meat, cooked rare. Unfortunately it wasn't that great and the cooking was also questionable. Little choice of wines, no table linen. The negative note is also the service, in my opinion insufficient. So for me they can very well remove the fine meats and make burgers, kebabs, chips and fried cheese, which will certainly be better. 16/08/2024: Very slow service, undersized kitchen compared to the number of customers. Waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes for a COLD cut (but on a hot plate!). They made it again for me... but we are very far from the reviews I read about this place. For me, absolutely below average.

Fried fish served on a cardboard plate with green salad on the same plate. Mostly covered at €1.50 consisting of only a fork and a paper napkin. And a bottle of water Total: €88 for 4 menus Shameful

01/09/2024: Il servizio è veloce ma gli spaghetti non erano cotti. Una cosa è scolare la pasta al dente altra è mangiarli completamente duri. Alici marinate buone. Da migliorare l'acqua minerale, troppo pesante. Magari in un altra giornata sarà diverso ma oggi è andata così.
