30/09/2025: The food is good, and Alessio can recommend even the most discerning palates. Hot appetizers include excellent and very tender pecorino alla callara (sheep's bread), followed by a must-try onion platter, which is amazingly good, and the meat stew! The charcuterie board is usually found in other places. The arrosticini are good, but it lacked a bit of salt. The bill is okay. Good service, very friendly waiters, and the place is well-decorated. In the summer, they even have a veranda where you can eat outside. They also do takeout. Overall, it's good!

28/02/2026: I came here two years ago and it was another inedible place. I came back a few days ago and nothing has changed, in fact it's gotten worse, poor quality ingredients.
Don't go, it's definitely something to avoid.

26/01/2026: I visited Ristorante Zi Nicola and the arrosticini were truly excellent, well-cooked and flavorful. I also really appreciated the wide selection of beers, truly extensive and of high quality. Unfortunately, the wait was excessive: we were seated at 8:00 PM and only managed to leave at 11:00 PM. It was a mixed experience, but with potential if they improved the service organization.
10/01/2026: Very good food and very good pizzas. The burgers are made with very good, high-quality meat! However, I gave the service two stars because they were too slow to serve the dishes.

14/02/2026: I had dinner this evening and it's truly scandalous. An hour for the pizza, then when it was time to eat, the waitress came and said we had to free the table, they kicked us out of the restaurant, it's truly shameful.
10/02/2026: While there's nothing to say about the pizza—and I mean nothing because it's delicious and the ingredients were excellent—the appetizers were a bit disappointing.
The place is cute and has plenty of parking. It's reminiscent of a Neapolitan atmosphere, but elsewhere in Abruzzo, I've seen better.
The service was fast and efficient: the waiters listened to our requests and were very attentive.
I'll definitely be back, and more than once.

19/02/2026: We went to this place after dinner to celebrate and only asked for something to snack on with our drinks. The receipt, in fact, states "aperitivo tanto per..." (just for..."), so we were served taralli and pretzels, which we thought was absolutely correct.
The problem is that the waiter added three portions of fries and one arancini each to our order, without us asking for them. When the fries arrived, I immediately went to tell him not to bring anything else, because we were there for an after-dinner drink, NOT FOR DINNER, but I was told that the arancini would arrive anyway because they were already cooking. I stated that we didn't want them, but was told they couldn't remove them from the order.
When paying, the receipt clearly stated "3 arancini" and "3 fries," dishes we never ordered! When I explained the situation, I was told that this is what "tasting" means to them and that perhaps the waiter should have mentioned it earlier.
I find this behavior unfair and lacking transparency: it's unacceptable to be charged for dishes you didn't request or agree to. A negative experience that ruined what was supposed to be a festive evening.

24/01/2026: Small and super crowded place. The only redeeming feature is the appetizer, while my pizza arrived drowned in mozzarella water. The already soggy dough had formed a mess, and I sent it back uneaten. The worst pizza of my life. Another pizza had a greasy side dish on its plate.
26/12/2025: Our favorite restaurant ❤️ the best pizza you can eat in Abruzzo! Everything is excellent, even the arrosticini.
