07/12/2025: We tried several dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. We asked for something off the menu (Goan chicken - chicken in coconut milk sauce) and they accommodated us.
We paid about 40 euros each and had a pleasant evening.
I should say that if we ordered half the food, we would have still been full and satisfied; we got carried away with the deliciousness of the specialties.
The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

29/03/2026: I went to dinner at this restaurant by chance, with a group of friends who had booked through TheFork using the 50% off promotion. My first impression, upon entering, was a bit perplexing: the place was bare, minimally personalized, and the temperature was decidedly too low. We were also the only customers, which wasn't exactly encouraging. The woman in the dining room, however, was immediately welcoming, smiling, and helpful. We chose from a vast menu: samosas, naan, focaccia, basmati rice, and meat dishes. Everything was delicious, so much so that we even ordered a few seconds. We particularly enjoyed the whole-wheat focaccia with potatoes and spices, which we ordered four or five times. I must say, I wouldn't have chosen it if I'd walked by, but the overall experience was excellent. Thanks to TheFork's promotion, we paid โฌ23 per person. The quality/price ratio was also excellent.

29/12/2025: I ordered a pratha kebab on just eat and it was probably the worst delivery I have ever eaten, super soggy, terrible sauces and vegetable. The meat was like a big hunk of hard mush. the only time in my life I've complained of recieving too much food
16/12/2025: I've been going to India for almost 30 years, so I know its cuisine well, which I love. This tiny restaurant offers the best and most authentic Indian food in Bologna, with very fair prices and generous portions. Truly exceptional.

14/04/2026: The restaurant is signposted "Nur Jahan - Ristorante Indiano". At 7 pm we were the only guests, and the plastic tablecloths weren't very inviting. But thanks to the friendly service and delicious food, we can recommend the restaurant. By 8:30 pm every table was occupied.
29/03/2026: I've been here for dinner several times and have always found the food to be delicious, the service friendly, and the prices excellent. The portions are generous (considering that you can order multiple dishes at once). I highly recommend it!

20/04/2026: I say this with regret because I love Indian restaurants but the food here is not good.
11/04/2026: While the staff and setting impressed, the food was a serious disappointment. The mixed tandoori platter raised immediate concerns โ the meat smelled off and the chicken appeared far from fresh. Coating stale ingredients in spices and colour is not a standard any restaurant serving Indian cuisine should accept.

01/03/2026: Informal atmosphere and welcoming staff, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectations. Murg tikka was chewy and tasteless, and the alo goobi and vegetable balls were passable.
24/02/2026: Very good restaurant, extremely friendly staff. I read many reviews about the extreme spiciness, but it's certainly a matter of habit. I personally didn't find it that extreme. The spiciest dishes are marked, and obviously, we're talking about very spicy dishes. Besides the chili pepper, the spices also contribute, but it's all bearable if you're used to enjoying spicy dishes! The icing on the cake for a dinner at the Taj Mahal is the mango lassi at the end of the meal, but it also helps tone down the heat if you like. ;) The rosewater one is also excellent!

29/12/2025: Cuisine with bold flavors. The chutney and tandoori chicken are truly delicious, and the samosas are slightly greasy. The Indian beer is a pleasant surprise. The bill is a bit high. Extremely friendly staff.
19/12/2025: I've known and frequented this restaurant since it opened.
I always find the food pleasant and tasty, with generous portions.
In addition to the ร la carte selection, there are tasting menus featuring meat, fish, and vegetables.
The dishes are spicy, but not excessively hot, unless requested.
Personally, I find them very balanced.

08/03/2026: Determined to try this type of cuisine, we chose to have lunch at this restaurant, which appears very simple but is well-maintained and clean. The staff was very kind and attentive to our various needs. They were considerate of my lactose intolerance. The dishes we tried amazed us with their deliciousness and unexpected digestibility. The portions were adequate for the meal. I recommended the chicken masala: tender and flavorful meat. The accompanying sauces were a positive note. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try the desserts, but my companion enjoyed the baba with sugar syrup.

19/04/2026: I didn't have a positive experience for the following reasons:
1. We went in and were told the POS wasn't working. No problem, we sat down.
2. Long wait to take our order.
3. Really tiny portions, so we all left hungry.
4. When it came time to get the bill, it was โฌ89 without even a receipt.
Very disappointing, I don't recommend it and I won't be back.
19/04/2026: I'm from California where we have excellent Indian food. Unfortunately, this was the worst Indian food I've ever had. It was so bland. I had the dahl which I usually love and I would give it a 5 /10. I also had the chicken curry #1 on the menu and rated qs spicy. I was shocked. It was so bad I couldn't eat it. I would give it a 1 / 10. The "sauce" was very watery and bad. It also had only about 4 - 5 little pieces of chicken. I make much better Indian food myself. If you are used to good Indian food, do not go here.
