02/07/2025: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taj Mahal, and it was truly a delightful experience. I tried their Chicken Biryani and Chanay Kofta with Malai boti tika and both dishes were absolutely outstanding. The flavors were rich and authentic, capturing the true essence of traditional cuisine. Each dish was perfectly cooked, with just the right balance of spices and tenderness.
The ambiance was welcoming, and the service was excellent. A special mention to Mr. Nadeem, the owner, whose warm hospitality and passion for quality food truly stood out. It's clear he takes great pride in ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
If you're looking for a place that serves genuine, flavorful traditional food, I highly recommend Taj Meal. It's a hidden gem that deserves all the praise.

07/08/2025: Excellent Indian restaurant, the location is very nice and typically Indian. The dishes served are very good. The à la carte menu offers a variety of dishes, including some standard menus offering appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts at reasonable prices. The owner is always friendly and helpful, ready to accommodate every customer request. Recommended.

We didn't dare try another Indian restaurant besides the one in Bologna (which is our favorite), but I must say we were pleasantly surprised!
You can choose between an à la carte menu and a full menu that includes an appetizer, first course, and dessert.
We ordered two menus, and the portions were truly generous.
The gentleman who works there is very kind and attentive 😊

Prices were high for the quantity; I took advantage of a TheFork offer, otherwise the bill would have been very high. The atmosphere wasn't the best, as the place was poorly maintained and didn't convey a sense of cleanliness; it definitely needs improvement.

17/07/2025: Great food and great venue. But most importantly, this place is run by a lovely couple who go above and beyond to make sure that their guests are well taken care of. They exemplify true Indian and Italian hospitality.
After being on the road for a few weeks and having travelled many parts of Italy and Spain, I came across this joint and I’m so glad I did. I had the perfect pick-me-up meal at Curcuma to power me for the second half of my journey.
I would highly recommend this venue to everyone and hope to come back to it sometime in the future.

24/07/2025: The food was not good and not providing Indian real taste.Cheating Italian people in the taste of Indian food. The price is also expensive and not for Italian people. The waiters are unprofessional behaves like they are the working in some big IT companies. Beware of such people who are spoiling Indian dish and the taste of culture and also disrespects. I don’t suggest any Italian to go to this RESTURANT as it’s not real Indian food.

31/07/2025: First time trying typical Indian cuisine in Bologna... I was surprised and amazed by how authentic and genuine it was.
Everything. The staff, Aris, was very friendly. I will definitely be back.

The menu offers a wide choice of typical dishes, in many different variations (both spicy and not); the same goes for the excellent drinks.
The restaurant offers an all you can eat formula, which excludes: fish, drinks (and I assume dessert). I highly recommend it, as it allows you to try many dishes, with a reduced cost.
Every dish I tasted was remarkable, I was really satisfied. The lamb, moreover, was very tender (to the point that picking it up with a fork was difficult, since it was cut). The spices and sauces made the tasting truly excellent.
The service also excels: friendly, cheerful, kind and very precise staff, speed, and very clean bathrooms with lots of scent. I felt welcomed, with typical music accompanying the dinner.
Fully satisfied, highly recommended. I always enjoy coming back here!

28/07/2025: Right in the middle of Bologna Centro, hard to find by car but easily accessible by food. We searched for HALAL food and found this little shop. Greeted well as soon as we walked in, Very good people, nice, fresh & delicious food. We enjoyed their lamb curry, chana masala and their kebab wraps. We also had Mozzarella sticks and chicken strips. We enjoyed overall. If we are in Bologna again we will visit them for sure.

09/07/2025: I'm sorry, but I wasn't at all satisfied. The portions were really tiny and not in line with the price (for my standards).
We asked for two main courses each and a vegetable main course to share.
These vegetables were supposed to be grilled... well, there wasn't much grilled at all; I'm a raw person, and they tasted like nothing.
Plus, most of the vegetables were pineapple chunks... Is pineapple a vegetable? And what does that have to do with grilled vegetables? Plus, if I were a vegetarian and wanted this main course, I would have starved and probably wouldn't have eaten it all.
In fact, despite being so hungry, we didn't even finish it; we didn't like it.
The atmosphere could have been better, too; we felt unwelcome and a bit "thrown out" even though there was a couple next to us who had arrived late and still had full plates in front of them.
Given the positive reviews, I expected more. The meat was good, but the portions were too small (and the rice wasn't right).

06/08/2025: Amazing butter chicken. I recommend it if you want a good kebab on the go and also want to try excellent Indian cuisine on the spot. In the summer, they also have an outdoor seating area for al fresco dining.
