23/08/2026: A Japanese restaurant next to Boboli Gardens. The udon noodles were delicious! I finally got to eat Asian food in Italy 😭 The owner was very kind! Because the gardens were so big, I walked a long way and arrived later than my reservation time, but everyone was still very kind and welcoming! Highly recommended 💖

The owner was also very kind ✨ The gardens were much bigger than I expected, and I walked a lot, so I was late for my reservation time, but everyone was very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended 💖

We had various ramen dishes (around €13-18), a sushi platter (€22), and edamame.
Everything arrived quickly, hot, and delicious. We'd gladly come again.
18/08/2026: I discovered it by chance while looking for a place to stop for dinner. 10/10 overall: excellent and very fast service, excellent food, and super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

The chef's dishes are interesting and delicious. The service is courteous and efficient. The location is welcoming, with relaxing furnishings and music. Reservations are recommended. 04/08/2026: Very cute and well-kept place, with very kind and welcoming staff. The food is excellent, truly delicious. We pre-ordered the sushi, 65 pieces, and it was fabulous! It was like being back in Japan.

01/08/2026: It's a place where you can not only experience authentic (and excellent) Japanese home cooking but also experience the hospitality and friendliness typical of the Japanese people. If I lived in Florence, I'd come here at least once a week to eat 😂😋
Plus, the "Thursdays in Japan" they hosted in July were wonderful: immersing yourself in the culture and a perfect opportunity to learn new aspects of Japanese life.
Erii and the entire staff have done and continue to do an excellent job!

29/06/2026: A regular customer for years, often coming here for lunch with my partner. Good food, fast and professional service, and an all-you-can-eat menu. The spacious internal courtyard is a significant plus compared to other competitors.
The staff is efficient and attentive, and the owner is very courteous and helpful. I always recommend this place with pleasure.
26/06/2026: I've only ever eaten sushi there because it's really good. But today I discovered I contracted tapeworm from the raw fish. There aren't enough checks at the restaurant; one day I even had to contact Glovo because I bought a moldy dorayaki there. Be careful.

16/05/2026: A high-class restaurant at an affordable price: it offers original and traditional dishes, all meticulously presented; it's frequented by nice, polite people; it has a very efficient ordering system, allowing you to enjoy your food at your leisure; and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The tempura is crispy, light, and plentiful, the best I've ever had after years of frequenting so many other AYCE restaurants. The ambiance is extremely elegant, with a stunning view of the river. Unmissable (if you can find a seat!)

05/08/2026: The atmosphere was extremely chaotic due to the loud noise coming from the (open) kitchen and other tables. The entrance to the restaurant was very busy, and once we entered, with an 8:30 PM reservation, they seated us later because our table wasn't ready yet. The food was good and fresh, and the staff were friendly. Given its reputation, we probably expected more.
29/07/2026: This week we decided to go to this restaurant twice to try the food and service.
The fish is good quality, and the kitchen uses the ingredients well.
Unfortunately, the service is poor: the welcome is cold, the wait to place an order is 18 minutes, the wait is excessive between courses, and the dishes are not served in full.
Even though we pointed this out, no one thought to apologize or offer any kindness.
For the price, the service and customer care needs to be improved.
The atmosphere is too noisy.

08/08/2026: I’ve had a bad experience here twice. The first time I offered a sushi burrito with extra tofu, paid for extra tofu, and did not receive what I paid for. Today I ordered a basic California roll. No where on the menu did it say this included mayonnaise. Mayonnaise is also not traditionally added to this style of maki roll. Yet when the dish arrived it was COVERED in mayonnaise. I absolutely am repulsed by mayonnaise and completely lost my appetite. Clarity doesn’t seem to be emphasized in this culture but serving food that adds ingredients not listed is not acceptable. Truly, it’s unbelievable the lack of critical thinking.

31/07/2026: Most of the food is generally greasy, and the seaweed seems a bit old. There are many shrimp dishes, but the variety of other items is relatively limited compared to a standard buffet. The taste is just average.
26/07/2026: My experience at the Sakura restaurant was wonderful. The waiters were very kind, and the sushi arrived in practically two minutes. The place seemed very welcoming and elegant, so I will definitely return.
