21/10/2025: I haven't been to Japan, but the way they serve customers, the plating, and the waiters' formality really made me feel like I was in Japan. Favorite dish: pork udon. The pieces of pork in the udon broth were fabulous; not to mention the udon itself. I liked them more than the fish. (You can tell it by the "recommended" symbol on the menu.) For dessert, the mochi with Macha ice cream is a must-try. The price is quite high, at €70 per person, excluding wine (we had water). Definitely worth a try.

13/10/2025: If you're looking for a Japanese restaurant that feels like you're in Japan, Il Cuore is the place to go in Florence. Teruo guided us through the culinary experience from start to finish, with a respect only found in Japan, recommending typical dishes we won't soon forget. The fish served was incredibly fresh and of excellent quality, so much so that months later I still remember the taste. Without a doubt, one of the best Japanese restaurants we've ever tried. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

17/10/2025: An incredible experience, the quality is top-notch. A must-do. "Trust" the wines, too, because the pairings are extremely interesting with high-quality products.

15/10/2025: I'm so happy there's a place like this in my city. The chef was extremely polite and witty, but above all, brilliant. He knew how to entertain without losing sight of the focus: the food. We ate divinely; everything was exquisite. It wasn't just a dinner, but an experience. Special mention also for the service. Omnipresent, but never intrusive. Smiling and extremely kind. We had a wonderful evening, thank you.

21/11/2025: It's been years since I've eaten Japanese food, but we were really happy with this experience. The food was excellent, as was the service and the atmosphere. We'll be back very often.

14/11/2025: Well-kept sushi restaurant (but not only) on the edge of the historic center. I love the tables below floor level and also the table setting, simple but not tacky. Endless and tiring menu to consult with the QR code. Lots of "fusion" sushi with Philadelphia/avocado/red fruits that would turn up the nose of purists. More or less tasty sashimi depending on the type. Good rice. Fried rolls more or less spot on. Very fast service. We go there at least twice a year because we always leave satisfied, both for the sushi and for the more elaborate dishes. Excellent possibility of using the fork on the final bill.

05/11/2025: We waited three hours to see our dishes. If there wasn't a chance of providing adequate service, we could have simply let them know and we would have happily chosen another place. Twenty minutes passed between each course, and there were five of us, so everyone ate independently. In these situations, it would have been polite to offer a discount or a meal, but nothing.

02/11/2025: Pangea was probably faster. I'll briefly summarize my painful experience there. We booked a table for 9:30 PM by calling after 8 PM (so, when service was already underway). We arrived at the restaurant precisely at the appointed time, noticing a crowd of people in front of the restaurant who had booked for 9 PM and were still waiting. And from there began probably the longest wait of my life, beyond even a birth. They seated us at a whopping 10:30 PM, outside, at a table isolated from everyone else, in the freezing cold, while the others were under a tent with some warming mushrooms, and we were the only ones excluded from this privilege. Even though we tried to ask to be moved—not immediately, of course, but only when a table became available indoors or under the awning—we were told yes and no. Either way, the bottom line was that we were left eating in the cold (and given the hour and the amount of hours we'd been waiting, it was truly freezing). Our first ramen arrived at a whopping 11:30 PM, followed by the second a full 15 minutes later. So, as if that weren't enough after all this waiting, we didn't even get to eat them together. We finished our meal after midnight, and of course the staff didn't offer us the slightest discount, except for an embarrassing apology, which arrived only after we'd paid. What can I say, the ramen was good, but you have to decide for yourself whether 15 minutes of satisfaction is worth a two-and-a-half-hour wait. I don't know if it was just an isolated incident and therefore a bad day, and I feel sorry for them, but what is certain is that my day was ruined too.

23/11/2025: Fantastic experience! It's been a long time since I've had sushi this well-prepared and with such a wide selection of choices. The staff was incredibly friendly, the ordering was convenient and the wait time was just right. The atmosphere was warm, with statues of famous anime/manga characters. What was even better was the option to buy matching chopsticks—really cute! This will be a must-visit every time I come to Florence.

04/09/2025: The bar is interesting. I only went for the hookah. There's another hookah bar next door, but it was very crowded. I prefer a quiet place, so this was perfect. A good place to relax and enjoy the moment.
