01/07/2025: Hands down one of the best sushi a la carte in Turin. Very friendly and helpful owner. Absolutely try the ramen, we will definitely be back! Fair prices for the quality of the dinner. Edit: returned two months later, I ate inside. Always delicious food, but very slow service, scorching heat without air conditioning, lots of mosquitoes. Avoid in summer

23/06/2025: Very good food, fair price. I recommend the menu to try various typical Japanese things. The takoyaki were the best I've ever eaten, good to die for 😍🤤 The location was small but cozy and characteristic, the chairs were a bit uncomfortable though. Very kind staff. The meat was very good and tasty, and also the Japanese beer.

02/07/2025: I came back for the second time and I confirm that the food is very good and the staff very courteous. A pleasant experience that I gladly recommend.

25/05/2025: Io personalmente devo dare 5 stelle ad Alessia, una ragazza che ci ha seguiti dall'inizio alla fine di questa esperienza culinaria veramente speciale, consigliandoci cosa assaggiare di tipico del locale e come accompagnarlo al meglio. Il cibo è veramente buono, anche se non troppo leggero. Noi abbiamo provato 3 antipasti e poi il ramen classico, e siamo rimasti sorpresi dai sapori non usuali a cui appunto non siamo abituati. Sicuramente torneremo.

25/05/2025: I've never tasted such a good Japanese curry dish (I've only had it in Paris, but the competition is there with the restaurants on Rue Sainte-Anne)! The curry sauce was just perfect, neither runny nor too thick! On the other hand, even though the matcha tiramisu was good, I found it too sweet for my taste, and I would have liked to have a better taste of the matcha, just as the cream wasn't the smoothest I've ever tasted in a tiramisu. The prices are also affordable. Furthermore, the waitress is very friendly, and the decor immerses us in a Japanese-style atmosphere. A good restaurant overall! I still recommend it!

04/06/2025: Precise, punctual and friendly! We have taken the takeaway menu of 6 dishes for about €30 several times and I must say that it is very good! Good variety, generous portions and good quantity of fish inside. The girl at the entrance is very nice and kind. Recommended!

09/07/2025: I went to shabu for lunch with a friend of mine. We sat outside, where they welcomed us, seated us, and discreetly guided us through our meal. Highly recommended for anyone like me who is celiac.

07/07/2025: Eccezionale è l’unica parola per descrivere la cena di sabato sera da Kensho; ero già stata una volta diversi anni fa, credo più o meno prima del covid, ma non mi ricordavo nulla di simile! Mio marito ed io ci teniamo a congratularci davvero per l’ottimo servizio da parte di tutto il personale: gentile, educato e professionale. Abbiamo optato per il menù “omakase” che in giapponese significa proprio “mi fido di te” e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Abbiamo aggiunto al menù la tagliata di Wagyu alla quale non abbiamo saputo resistere.. una vera goduria! È un’esperienza senza eguali in Torino che vi consigliamo spassionatamente!

26/05/2025: We went to Kensho in November during the ATP, we chose it only from the photos on Instagram, but I have to say that it pleasantly surprised us. The dishes I had were delicious, the staff were very kind and since I wrote in the reservation that it was my birthday they prepared a cake with a candle, they were really nice. We will return to Turin for the ATP and we will definitely go back.

20/06/2025: We came to eat last night with the family, and we are regulars, even though we don't come very often. For some time now the service has dropped a lot because, apart from the good food and the very comfortable atmosphere, many dishes tend not to arrive, especially sashimi and carpaccio, even if reordered a second or third time to actually eat them. Last night a person at our table almost didn't eat, he ordered his food, but it NEVER arrived! We had to call one of the waiters, who are always kind and friendly, who reordered them for us from his pad, but despite this nothing arrived. We kept asking until these famous dishes arrived, after almost 1 hour of waiting. We saw this dish arrive at the other tables, but not at ours, and we thought, at a certain point, that our orders would end up at the tables next door. It's not the first time this has happened. Too bad, it was a nice place… kitchen guys, don't click "confirmed" when you know perfectly well that the dish hasn't even left the kitchen, please.

15/06/2025: We went to Wasabi last December to celebrate our anniversary, and we couldn't have made a better choice! Everything is taken care of down to the smallest details, from the location to the food, and when you enter it really feels like you're in Japan. Everything reflects the culture of this country: the tatami on which you walk strictly without shoes, the wooden tables and the kimono of the employees. As for the food, we chose to try their menu, with several courses, including dessert, to try more dishes. Everything is delicious, from the first to the last course, and the quality of the food is truly high. I hope to return soon!

12/06/2025: Going to Wasabi, a historic Japanese restaurant in Turin, is a taste experience of Japanese cuisine. The sushi is well-made, good in flavor and combinations. Soy sauce to be used sparingly so as not to cover the taste of the food. The grilled gyoza and the final dessert are also excellent. The price is higher than average but in line with the quality of the food. The possibility of sitting on a tatami without shoes also makes everything more pleasant and welcoming. Totemo oishikatta!

22/06/2025: I've eaten here a couple of times, the food isn't bad, but it doesn't seem to be the best in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the cleanliness of the kitchen (Last time the cooked salmon in the burrito looked and tasted unpleasant, and so did the soy sauce). I didn't find the staff particularly rude as some people point out, but the place is really DIRTY, the tables and surfaces are soaked in grease, someone could do a proper clean every now and then! The smell of fried food and grease stayed with me for hours and I had a hard time digesting the sushi burrito. At first it seemed like a nice place, but after the experience I had my opinion is not very positive.
