27/09/2025: The sushi was really good, both the traditional and the more unusual ones. The tempura was AMAZING, a must-try. We had a wonderful evening, and the service was excellent. The place is very nice, with a great atmosphere.

18/09/2025: Among the top 3 best Japanese restaurants in Turin and its province. The authenticity of the dishes and the atmosphere make this place one of the best. The quality of the food is excellent, the atmosphere is immersive Japanese, and best of all, there are only six tables, just like in a true Japanese restaurant. Prices are in line with the market, excellent. We'll be back.

12/09/2025: A very small, cozy restaurant. We received extremely friendly advice and the service was attentive. Unfortunately, despite the many good reviews, the food didn't quite meet our personal taste.

04/10/2025: Excellent sushi in San Mauro. They don't offer an all-you-can-eat option, and the prices aren't exactly cheap (€30-40), but the quality is undeniable. Everything is freshly prepared. The staff are extremely courteous and friendly. Four stars for the atmosphere, although nice, a bit cramped.

01/09/2025: I haven't been to Shabu in a while, and I think it'll be a while before I go back... I was really disappointed: my memory was of a good restaurant, with good-quality food at a fair price; unfortunately, last Tuesday's dinner wasn't like that. I'm sorry to point out that this isn't just my personal opinion, but also that of the three other diners I was with. Nothing to complain about the place, always very welcoming and well-maintained; the wait staff was friendly. Now for the food I ordered. Wagyu skewers: (€25) for two skewers that were overcooked and tasted nothing like they were supposed to. The red shrimp tartare, which I'm a big fan of, was truly awful: taste and quality were nonexistent; for €20.50, I definitely expected better. Salmon sashimi and crispy salmon: average. Wagyu gyoza: (€22) the worst of all the dishes I ordered; The ravioli was very thick, and the overall flavor was not good (an opinion shared by two other diners who, like me, had chosen it from the menu). The pistachio and raspberry dessert was undoubtedly the best dish of the evening; truly delicious! We spent over €100 each on a terrible meal; I sincerely hope it was an oversight by the kitchen, because otherwise the price is completely out of proportion to the quality. I'm sorry to leave this kind of review, but I think it could be a source of improvement.

21/08/2025: Discovered this excellent Japanese and fusion restaurant. High quality, prices too, but in line with the quality of the food. The lobster salad is a must-try. Very fresh fish. Good wine selection. The place is well soundproofed.

16/07/2025: Since I'm vegetarian, there aren't many vegetarian options, but the few vegetarian dishes are very good. If you make a reservation, you'll be assigned a table at the entrance, and service is extremely fast.

26/09/2025: Excellent cuisine, delicate, tasty, 10 out of 10. Superb atmosphere and supreme kindness. An experience I will definitely repeat. Well done!! The photos show some of the dishes from the €80 tasting menu, but it was worth it!

20/09/2025: Unfortunately, it was a negative experience. The location is very nice and the staff are friendly, but an hour-long wait for the entrée and another hour for the main course is way too long. Especially since the bao and the bun were tiny, and the bun was also cold. The sushi was good, but the quality/price ratio was decidedly poor. The only positive was the discount when we expressed our disappointment at the delay.

16/09/2025: I read that some people were hoping to replicate the experiences they'd had in Japan, an understandable expectation, but one that's currently virtually unrealistic in Italy. Certainly not in a fusion restaurant with its classic, invented dishes, fake stone tableware, and the insipid mix of sushi and ramen that doesn't even resemble Japan on a postcard.

12/10/2025: Excellent Japanese/Asian restaurant, perhaps the best in Turin. Delicate and creative dishes with high quality. Prices are rightly a little high, but the delicacies are...expensive. The only flaw (negligible) is the place...a little spartan and quite noisy...but why is it always full?

03/10/2025: I finally managed to go to a real Japanese restaurant in Turin: the atmosphere, the location, the owner/chef were truly authentic. The food was delicious: we tried several items from the tasting menu plus a few à la carte additions. The waitress was extremely kind, in true Japanese style. For one evening, we felt like we were back in Tokyo. Unfortunately, the price isn't for every day, but we'll definitely be back.

21/09/2025: Finally, a place where you can eat products made with quality ingredients. A clean location where you can chat peacefully with your fellow diners without the noise or the deafening din of music. Bravo, Domenico, bravo, bravo, bravo!

07/09/2025: The appetizers and pizzas are excellent; the Margherita at the Caffè is highly recommended! The staff is friendly and helpful, and everyone is approachable and attentive to their customers. An appetizer, two pizzas, water, and dessert at the table cost about €20 per person, which is excellent for something so original.

13/10/2025: The staff was incredibly kind and attentive: they pointed out that a dessert we'd ordered wasn't halal because of the gelatin, a gesture we greatly appreciated. The roll cake was phenomenal, we'll definitely be back! Edit: We returned and it was as phenomenal as we expected 🥹🤍
