I returned to this restaurant, my absolute favorite, for my birthday...since 2018! A long time, it's true, but for one reason or another we were never able to return. Unlike 2018 where I felt like I was back in Japan for a few hours, this time I have to say with great regret that it didn't give me the same feeling. There are no more staff in Yukata and I don't know, I missed something impalpable, the atmosphere! It seemed to me that they had homologated themselves to other restaurants, despite having nothing to do with any restaurant in Turin and surrounding areas. Please repent! About the food I have nothing to say fantastic!...but I don't go there just to eat well. I really miss the old mood. Having said that, go there because it deserves a lot. Be prepared to spend a little, but this is not an all you can eat and the staff are Japanese, Japanese owners! The only true Japanese in Turin, without compromises, is not fushion!...and this is another point in their favor. I didn't take photos of the dishes, I was too watering to leave them untouched even for just a few minutes...

Excellent quality Japanese restaurant! the exceptional family-run service fascinates with the excellent furnishings and the traditional clothes worn by the managers, all extremely kind and polite Japanese. The food is exceptional, the quality of the sushi is remarkable, both in terms of preparation and freshness. You can opt for a tasting menu, or choose freely from the different varieties of Sushi and Sashimi and many other traditional dishes. Unlike other restaurants of this kind, you can notice two details that I really appreciated: the use of chopsticks (hashi) which are not disposable but rather lacquered and decorated ones. Furthermore, it is possible to eat in a situation similar to the traditional one, accessing a raised platform with an opening where you can put your bare feet, thus simulating the traditional Japanese style. The cost is certainly higher than average, but overall it is absolutely appropriate. A must try for everyone who loves Japanese cuisine.

Traditional Japanese cuisine in Italy. Now the place is managed by the expert hands of Masanori Tezuka, chef and owner of the only other noteworthy Japanese restaurant in Turin (Miyabi, for those who don't know him). A fundamental place for those who love the cuisine of the Rising Sun.

Di solito non do i massimo sulle recensioni, ma devo dire che questa volta ci sta. Sono una persona che ama la cultura orientale, dalla storia alla cucina e devo dire che questo ristorante mi ha portato letteralmente in Giappone, come se aprendo quella porta si entrava in una casa giapponese. Apprezzo la loro tradizione (da fa togliere le scarpe alla struttura del locale). Cibo ottimo e ben curato, servizio eccellente, bravi i ragazzi nel spiegare le singole portate. E poi lo chef, 100 con lode, ho mangiato veramente bene. Ritornerò sicuramente.

Febbraio 2024: prima visita dalla riapertura del locale da parte dello chef del Miyabi. Che dire il cambiamento è evidente ma ha mantenuto molti dei piatti precedenti in una crasi. Aumento evidente di prezzo ma la qualità si è mossa di conseguenza. Piatto di sashimi misto faraonico. Recensione del 2020: Sempre il migliore giapponese di Torino con very giapponesi e tutto buono tutto fantastico fanno temaki tempura rolls nigiri sashimi udon tonkatsu mix di aperitivi aperitivi senza mix mix di cose verdure fritte in pastella con pastella senza pastella se chiedi e quindi cosa facciamo rimaniamo litigati? E i marò? Tutto perfetto. Se questo posto fosse in Giappone sarebbe comunque sobresaliente.Vorrei mangiarci tutti i giorni ma non è possibile. In Giappone comunque il sushi è molto buono ma anche qui è molto buono. Se non ci credete venite e assaggiate.

Ottima esperienza in un angolo di Giappone a Torino, storico locale, aperto in Corso Ferrucci a Torino dal 1997. La cucina di Fuji il titolare, insieme a sua moglie è sempre una garanzia, siamo rimasti estasiati come la prima volta. L’ambiente curato e accogliente, consente di trascorrere una piacevole cena e di assaporare un po’ di atmosfera made in Japan. Consigliato
