01/10/2025: This is my second time back at Niwa and I'm quite satisfied. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes with quality ingredients. Prices are moderately high, but perfectly in line with the quality of the food served. The wine list is also good. I wasn't particularly impressed with the desserts compared to the rest. The setting is very beautiful, but a bit chilly for my taste (I'm talking about the temperature). Regardless, I recommend it! Definitely book in advance.

30/09/2025: Food is amazing … sometimes they are not really fast … you need to wait even more than 30 minutes to get food.

30/09/2025: I was traveling here two weeks ago and stumbled across it while looking for a place to have dinner. Everyone was very satisfied after their meal, so the price didn't matter.

12/07/2025: Stopped by chance. In front of the restaurant, there's a nice, open space with plenty of parking, so no problems with parking. The place is clean and the staff are very friendly. I think the chandeliers are beautiful. They give you a tablet to order so you can order independently. The dishes are slightly different from the usual ones we've found around, but they're still very good and flavorful. A nice discovery. Easy access for wheelchair users.

14/10/2025: Of all the ones I've tried, this one maintains good quality despite the passage of time. The place is welcoming and not too bright, the staff is helpful, and the prices are average 👍

08/10/2025: Excellent experience. This is definitely one of the best AYCE sushi restaurants in the area. The menu offers a wide variety, including some unusual options, and the ingredients are of good quality. I also appreciate the fact that the portions aren't overwhelming (small uramaki, not too much rice, and servings of 4 instead of 8), so you can try a variety of flavors without feeling too full.

22/10/2025: Fantastic restaurant. I stopped for lunch and ordered the cirashi menu. They served miso soup, fried fish, rice, salad, and cirashi on the side. The fish was very good quality and very thickly sliced. The lady serving the tables was lovely, and the restaurant was clean. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY. With the menu, water, and coffee, I spent €15 and left feeling very full. Nothing to say, I'll definitely be back.

07/10/2025: Nice but not professional service, atmosphere at dinner is slightly dull and boring grey… Kitchen is open to requests for changing dishes from menu (thanks for that), but cooked vegetables were frankly not tasty with too much stannous (not suitable) spices with rubbery consistency and tasteless fish… I am very sorry, but better to go to a more pleasant place in Como…

08/10/2025: I was introduced to this place today and I was surprised... we had the set menu, plus a pizza for two. I've never eaten such a good pizza. The dishes were super generous and the quality excellent. The service was fantastic, fast and very kind... not to mention the price... very fair!! Recommended.

26/09/2025: The 4.5 review was very deceiving… we had high expectations of this sushi restaurant due to the high reviews but we were shocked to come across the low quality of food. We got 2 sushi rolls and some vegetable spring rolls and I want to say this was the most disappointing sushi I have had. All 3 food items tasted bland and lacked flavor, reminded me of grocery store sushi with small portion sizes for 15 Euros per roll. I would be okay with small portion sizes if the sushi tasted like it was high quality but it did not. I have sushi all the time, as it’s one of my favorite foods, so I can really differentiate between high and low quality sushi and this is definitely an avoid for me. The service was good - the employees were nice and the restaurant itself had a nice ambiance and seating but the food is what really matters and it lacks on that end unfortunately.

10/09/2025: We were looking forward to dining here because we were craving Asian food on our holiday in Italy and the ratings were really good. Unfortunately the ratings were deceiving and this was one of the most disappointing and non authentic Japanese meals I’ve had in a long time. The rolls were tiny and overpriced at around 10 euros each. You can get a whole large pizza for the same price. We ordered 3 rolls and left hungry and unsatisfied.
