29/06/2025: I give the third star only because the service was perfect. Traditional sushi was average, but definitely not worth spending 38 euros on (including water and service charge). Ugly fusion sushi. The last course arrived with lukewarm rice. Afterwards we had some digestion problems. Also for 38 euros it is absurd that some things like sashimi can only be ordered once. Impeccable service, the waiters were very nice and helpful and the courses arrived very quickly anyway. In addition we were offered a prosecco with a small fried appetizer, which perhaps thinking about it was the best thing of the meal.

27/05/2025: I don't like sushi but I went there for a reunion with friends. Clean place, friendly staff, there was also something cooked that I ate willingly. It's not my thing, but in the end I had a good time. And we had a laugh. That counts too!

10/05/2025: Terrible experience – never again. Three of us had lunch at J's Hiro in Milan and unfortunately we will never return. The place is very noisy, without any privacy, and the atmosphere is made even more unpleasant by the behavior of the owner, sadly known in the area for her grumpy and rude ways. As soon as we sat down we were immediately rushed to order, without even a friendly greeting. I took a dish of tuna with vegetables (20 euros!) which consisted of four pieces of counted tuna and four of vegetables. What's more, the plate was placed not in front of my placemat, but in the empty place next to it. An inexplicably sloppy gesture. My mother and her friend asked to split a plate of sushi and order miso soup and an extra salad — all of which they obviously intended to pay for separately. The owner immediately reacted with suspicion and annoyance, saying "no, that can't be done", as if we were trying to cheat her. The tone, the attitude and the way in which he addresses customers are nothing short of appalling: zero kindness, zero availability, just an obsession with profit. And anyway, regardless of the service, the food is absolutely mediocre. Milan offers infinitely better alternatives for those seeking a true Japanese experience. Avoid.

06/05/2025: Today I went to them for lunch, their portions are really small, in addition to this they are also limited per person, like the gunkan the mango roll however the sake salmon only has 4 slices! incredible, remember that it is also limited They are also slow with the service, you can only order 8 dishes once and you have to wait 10 minutes for the next order

11/05/2025: Complicato trovare posto perché sempre pieno con due turni ma quando trovo un tavolo ci vado volentieri. Personale gentile e cibo secondo me molto buono in maniera costante. Nessun commento negativo se non la difficoltà a trovare un tavolo ed il doppio turno che mi sa un po’ di catena di montaggio …

21/06/2025: It's a favorite restaurant in the Gorla neighborhood... family atmosphere and very friendly. : ) Today they also offered us a taste of the new specialties, with saffron and rocket sauce! Highly recommended.

09/05/2025: A popular all-you-can-eat restaurant with excellent value for money for years, it won't have "super and special" dishes as have been fashionable in recent years but the quality has always been good. The service is good and the place is nice.

15/05/2025: Right on the lake, it was great. When new drinks were brought, the old glasses weren't taken away. New guests sat down at dirty tables. And there were always vendors trying to get rid of junk. We didn't eat, so we can't comment on that.

30/03/2025: As below I post my experience in the places I visit. Those who have already seen my reviews know that I don't like these types of places, however we went on Saturday evening with another couple, look for 9.00 pm there were around 4 tables already eating we took a seat, ordered, quite good dishes but very long waiting times the dinner lasted until 11.30 pm in quotes to consider that many dishes were not even brought, in the end we ended the dinner with two people given that the other couple had to return home who had placed the babysitter for their younger son at home, I do not recommend the visit or advise the manager to hire other Sala E kitchen staff. He did not take any photographs as the site is already full

20/06/2025: I went for lunch… what can I say… everything was terrible! Obviously you get what you pay for… Staff were rude to death, anything but professional and I could give examples but I’ll avoid them… The food wasn’t very tasty but it wasn’t that bad either, it could definitely improve… I will definitely never go there again and I can only advise anyone who comes in to sit down to eat not to expect anything that includes respectable Asian culture. I’m sorry, but it’s the truth!

08/06/2025: First of all I would say that it is incorrect to say €18.90 all you can eat, when as soon as you sit down they tell you that there are €2 more for each place setting. Tell me directly €20.90! Then the portions are a joke..(see photo).

19/06/2025: I went for dinner during the week, for two with two bottles of water we spent less than €60. Very fast service, fried food made on the spot and fish that was not cold from the fridge and very tasty. I highly recommend the nigiri with eel and the millefeuille with salmon, very special

10/06/2025: It was a very perfect dinner. We arrived at 8pm. The restaurant was full, but we got after short time 15 minutes our ordered dishes. I can’t understand why some have not rated the restaurant like me.

09/06/2025: Shameful as an organization, mistreatment in the service and just to dot the i's... We were asked to move to a table with other people to organize the room and their business as if we had consumed water.... I personally would never spend another cent in this place, best wishes to everyone!

16/06/2025: Fabulous place. As soon as you enter the guys are very welcoming and smiling. There are so many seats and there are also private rooms where you can stay inside to eat, very private. The menu is really rich in variety. The food is really tasty. I recommend going for dinner as soon as it opens
