Hokusai Ramen

21/05/2025: This is already the second time we have been to Hokusai and we both came away very satisfied.
I will start by describing the atmosphere of the place: small but welcoming, with every detail carefully studied. Everything perfectly recalls the Japanese style: from the particular decorations to the nice choice of music, composed of more or less famous anime theme songs and other songs.
In particular, the Japanese tables with dividers are beautiful, making the experience intimate and authentic.
We have tasted several dishes, one better than the other, but a special note goes to their curry, in particular the katsu curry, the takoyaki and the jigoku ramen, a real explosion of flavors for the palate. The ingredients are clearly of the highest quality and the quality-price ratio is excellent.
The service is professional, kind and not at all intrusive.
Even though we have recently discovered this little Japanese pearl in the heart of Rome, for us it has already become a guarantee. We will definitely return several times.
07/05/2025: Ramen below average for my taste, seasoning lacking despite the addition of extra meat.
The potato croquettes were literally inedible: they dripped frying oil onto the plate. It's a shame, because the place is nice and the staff are friendly.

Family run, quality sushi whilst being ayce.
Also recommended for the very quiet and simple environment.
01/04/2025: Super quiet place. The menu is varied and the food good. Sometimes you wait a bit between one dish and another but kindness and friendliness "shorten" these waits. Clean and comfortable room. Advised.

31/03/2025: Prenotato con amici per un pranzo domenicale,una volta arrivati ci siamo trovati immersi in un ' epoca lontana e a me cara, praticamente una casa della Nonna ,con questo enorme camino in legno che governava la sala da pranzo .
Un' accoglienza sincera da parte dei proprietari,che ci hanno immediatamente deliziato delle loro specialità della casa.
Una particolare menzione la devo fare per la tagliatelle fatte a mano e tagliate finissime: erano anni che nn le mangiavo così buone!!
Cmq antipasto primo secondo alla brace ,patate al forno e broccoletti,vino e acqua con dolcetti ..23 e.
Che dire .... Dio benedica questi luoghi ,che ormai sono difficili da trovare!!!
Giornata bellissima nel verde ..... complimenti a tutti voi!

04/06/2025: I had veg noodles with edamame beans. They were really good. Portion size could have been bigger for the noodles. The food tasted 5/5 , would have great to have a few more vegetarian options. Staff was very accommodating too to my vegetarian needs.

30). None of the sushi ordered
after 14:40 was delivered either.

I had dinner alone for work and they welcomed me kindly.
The dishes are of incredible quality for their cost.
The dishes in the photo + a small dish offered by the chef at the price of 30 euros.
I didn't think I'd find such good sushi in Tivoli.
It deserves 10 stars out of 5 go there
08/03/2025: The sushi and sashimi ordered were fantastic, perfect portions and quality, I hadn't eaten anything so good in a long time and above all, with a variation in taste given by the materials used and
not artificially induced with various sauces and dips, as happens in many other Asian restaurants. Even if unfortunately it's not within reach for us, it's worth traveling a little further or ordering with delivery, keep it up.

21/05/2025: I've been going there for a long time but I won't go again... the lady with glasses who works in the dining room isn't welcoming at all... we always go there as a couple with a 2 and a half year old child who has never paid there or anywhere else because he eats very little or nothing... one day we did all you can eat for 2 as usual... and after half an hour I noticed that she had added 10 euros to the bill... I asked for an explanation and she replied that she saw the child eating... I'll start by saying that when I go out to eat I never take anything for him... because he always eats at our place... the little he eats... you can't charge 10 euros for a 2 and a half year old child who barely eats 3 shrimps and a half a roulade... the last time he ate 3 shrimps and slept through lunch... then it would be more appropriate to change the price range for children... having said that I won't set foot there again... because of the antipathy of the lady who is always there checking with that unpleasant face. Don't worry, no one will steal anything from you.

02/06/2025: I tried poke with my girlfriend here for the first time, and I was super satisfied. The staff is super helpful and also very kind. The large poke was really good, I will definitely come back more often now.
29/05/2025: Nice place and friendly staff. Good food served in practical paper bowls. Too bad there is little choice of salads. I would have liked lettuce but there was none. I settled for white rice. I would say there is still room for improvement but it was still a pisitive experience

16/05/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with my mom and I have to say that we were satisfied with the dinner.
The fish is fresh, tasty and good.
The selection of uramaki is quite varied with interesting choices.
In particular, we tried the uramaki with all raw fish and we liked them.
We also tried their otoro nighiri which we liked.
Overall, the evening was pleasant thanks to the food and the welcoming environment.
In my opinion, excellent value for money, I will definitely return!
