17/05/2025: I happened upon this restaurant last night by chance, in an instant I went back 6 years and found myself in Japan. Probably the best gyoza and udon I've eaten in Rome to date, wow, they're so good! 🤤 A lovely atmosphere, friendly, attentive and helpful staff and owner (with Daniele who was very kind), fair price for the quality of all the dishes. Highly recommended.

23/05/2025: The place would also be very welcoming and colorful which is great and original but, the rudeness of the staff is unclassifiable: for the delay we made looking for parking (since the area is a nightmare in this respect and it is obvious that they know it), we had to endure the scolding from the girl at the entrance as if we were at school, which towards paying customers I find excessive and out of place. The table was not the one indicated in the preferences and those who serve the tables do everything to make you understand that they are in a hurry by throwing the dishes at you when they serve them and taking them away when in a little while when one still hasn't finished. Frankly, this is not how you treat customers. Update: given the owner's response, it is clearly the usual business that wants to pretend nothing happened, the important thing is that they are right and that you pay, fine like this!

11/05/2025: So to start with the food is very poor you can't feel the freshness of the fish which is there in other you can eat restaurants. the service, however, is very poor, in fact, in addition to having a tablet to order, the waiters, instead of being Chinese or Japanese, are mostly Bangladeshi and not very attentive. 15/04/2025: Very nice place, right in the center of Velletri (so you need a little patience for parking). Everything was delicious, but I particularly liked the salmon and tuna maki. The staff is courteous and precise even when full. It's not all you can eat and the quality of the product certainly benefits.

13/06/2025: Too repetitive choice of food on the conveyor belt. The belt moves too fast, making it difficult to take food from the window in front of you. In fact, not being able to take one of the plates that were passing because your hand slipped, the plate happened to slide inwards. In an instant the waitress appears and, with only gesticulations, made it clear that we would be charged for the plate. And so it was. Very unpleasant! Since there are few choices on the belt, it is necessary to order dishes à la carte that are more interesting and varied. The dishes to order are very expensive. The quality of the fish is not excellent. The clams in the soup tasted of nothing. Even the tempura was not tasty. High price for the quality offered.

27/05/2025: First of all, the friend I had dinner with and I were regular customers at the restaurant for many months, where I then celebrated a birthday and they didn't put the cake in the fridge, bringing it to me melted. One evening we were told that for two nigiri (in number) left they wouldn't charge us the penalty to do us a favor, reproaching us for having left them. Then when we asked for a fortune cookie after paying the bill we were told: "Do you want fortune cookies too? You haven't paid the penalty already!" For two cookies... speechless.

24/05/2025: Inside it's not bad, definitely recommended for a couple's dinner... The chairs are a bit uncomfortable and the tables are a bit too ruined (rusty). On Friday night you pay 28 obviously with drinks outside, the food is good but the portions are too big for my taste. The menu even in the evening is very limited compared to practically all the you can eat especially in northern Italy where I've been.

01/06/2025: What can I say if not one of the best all you can eat in Rome. The food is excellent, the service too and everyone is very kind and always with a smile. Impeccable service and some dishes are unique. Very beautiful and particular location. Highly recommended

01/06/2025: Very nice location with spectacular view but honestly the food was of poor quality!!!! I paid €220.10 for 4 of course they asked for 10 cents first a great fall in style!!! After eating the first courses I had to run to the bathroom to vomit everything!!! Terrible experience!!!

08/06/2025: A tip from CELIACA. If a restaurant writes ‘gluten-free’ and uses the word ‘for celiacs’, it implies an assumption of responsibility in guaranteeing, according to European laws, that the product is safe, prepared avoiding contamination and suitable for those with celiac disease, therefore it should be fully aware of what it is offering. But be careful, specifying immediately afterwards that “non-contamination” is not guaranteed is not enough to discharge the responsibility, especially when talking about a serious condition like celiac disease, which today we hope will be clear by 2025 that it is not a fad but a highly disabling chronic autoimmune disease. Implying that it is at the customer’s risk and peril does not justify the use of terms, such as “gluten-free”, which imply safety. If it cannot be guaranteed, the product simply should not be presented in that way. Rather than wanting to sell by force, start acting serious and do not play with people’s health.

25/05/2025: I suggested your restaurant to a group of friends for a hen party. Enthusiastic about the experience of many years ago, we returned to Somo with very high expectations. I think the restaurant has changed management and we couldn't help but notice the differences. The food, staff, customer service and target customers turned out to be of a much lower level than I remembered. Even the image of the owners, although very kind, does not match the fame that this place boasted. The girls' comment was "commercial". And I certainly regret having exposed myself by suggesting your place! Somo was an explosion of design, high quality food and good wine, today it is full of teenagers, inadequate staff and out of line music throughout the course of the dinner! €65 per person for a handful of tempura, some mixed sushi and sashimi is out of the question! Obviously we won't be returning! Good luck to the owners!

01/06/2025: Excellent Japanese restaurant, Osaka cuisine. A place where you can rediscover their flavors. I happily tried some typical Osaka dishes (okonomiyaki, Yakisoba, tempura) and sushi. The tasting of three sakes was interesting. The Japanese sweets on offer were excellent, from the classic Dorayaki to the Matcha cake. Very nice place. The staff is exquisitely courteous and professional, if you want they will tell you about the ingredients, the techniques, the passion with which the dishes are prepared, the sake is produced. Convenient paid parking at the nearby Trionfale market, €1.50 per hour.

15/04/2025: Review from 2 years ago: Small Chinese and Japanese restaurant 10 minutes walk from the Tiburtina station, clean, welcoming (bathroom included), furnished in minimal style, with pop music on the radio. Very good and fresh sushi and raw dishes, with classic and non-classic combinations. Excellent skewers and delicious orange duck, crunchy and with lots of sauce! Today's review: I ordered from Glovo because I have it near home and I have to go to work soon... my goodness I don't know how I forgot about this restaurant, they were fast and everything was perfect and the food is really good, including the raw fish, the fish is really fresh, rare to find it like this... Really super recommended if you like Chinese and Japanese cuisine!! I love it 😍
