12/09/2025: The restaurant is located in an unexpected area for its type. It's well-decorated inside, and the staff is certainly very knowledgeable and courteous. The quality of the fish is there and you can taste it, but honestly, I think the prices are way too high. In my opinion, there's a 15-20% surcharge that's unjustified despite the high quality of the products. You can't spend more than €100 per person (excluding drinks) to try a few raw fish.

20/09/2025: Clean place, finally some Japanese without the gourmet fruit dishes everyone else offers these days. Excellent food, and friendly, professional staff. The owner, a sweet and friendly lady, served us. Recommended.

14/08/2025: I'm editing my review because I wrote it right after it left. I celebrated my birthday with 12 people. Three people had diarrhea after a few hours, and one person had a serious allergy. I made a fool of myself with this restaurant, even though it's my second time there. Both times, the food arrives at least 30-40 minutes after you order (or even longer). There were dishes that arrived an hour or more later. Others we canceled because it was already almost 11:00 PM. They were saved because it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant. I'm replying to the restaurant's review because I can't respond any other way: The review is newer because I edited it (and also wrote it). Parking is fine, but only in the evening, so I'll say it's available. Otherwise, everything else is valid for Koi Sushi in Ciampino (Via Mura dei Francesi).

04/07/2025: absolutely amazing restaurant, delicious food and super helpful and friendly staff. My boyfriend and I came yesterday and had a great time, especially thanks to a waiter named Simone who served us from the beginning and was super helpful. Really thank you for everything❤️

13/06/2025: It's a very large restaurant with a wonderful outdoor space! The waiter is really kind and very friendly!! Nihao! Highly recommended!!!

10/06/2025: Finally a traditional Chinese place near my house. I eat there often and also take home takeaway, always excellent. They also have an outdoor area for the summer. For me, the best dishes are on the traditional Chinese menu and I highly recommend the eggplant :) (The older reviews are from the previous place, which had much lower quality food!)

30/08/2025: The atmosphere is bare and empty, with paintwork worn away by time, and there's no music to lighten the already heavy atmosphere, which is due to the truly awful food: stale salmon, like most of the other products, is of poor quality. Not recommended for those who want to eat well or care about their gut/stomach health. An experience to forget, the only positive aspect being the sick days you can take from work after eating there.

26/05/2025: Typical Japanese restaurant in the heart of Rome where it seems to take a sudden trip with mind and spirit to Japan. Elegant and clean well-kept environment and very fresh and quality raw materials. Recommended is an understatement! Fantastic

01/09/2025: Beautiful location, good food, and super friendly staff. Prices are perhaps a little high—a full dinner is quite expensive—but the quality of the dishes is truly top-notch. I've never had such good breading on fried foods. To save money, I only ordered one dish with a roll, and I have to say I still felt full, even if the menu makes you hungry. For a dinner for two and a half with just water, I spent about thirty. I might go back, especially to try the bowls, which, unfortunately, are only available for takeout.

29/07/2025: A disappointing experience in every way. I ordered a large poke bowl, and the only thing that was "large" was the price. The bowl was barely more than half full, with very few ingredients. The fish, which should be the main ingredient in poke, was practically nonexistent, and the little that was present was of truly mediocre quality, not at all appetizing. To make matters worse, the delivery arrived later than expected, further worsening an already negative experience. Poor value for money. Definitely not recommended; there are many better options in the area.

03/09/2025: When we want sushi... Genkai is a surefire choice! Clean, friendly, and a wide selection. We've never felt sick after eating here.

24/08/2025: honestly I came here today and I had a really bad time if I can say the place is very nice but my friends and I arrived at 12.30 and at 2pm half of the dishes we ordered still have to arrive as soon as we arrived we ask the waiters and they answer us rudely and not only the food is not that great
