Finally, a restaurant that matches its theme. The staff were all asian. Food was great. Highly recommend. Miso ramen was fantastic. Wakame Udon was exquisite.

Though the food did take a bit to come, the wait was worth it, the food is of very high quality and the flavor is amazing. The staff are welcoming and do speak multiple languages, there are many different Asian foods to choose from. We got the Wakame Udon and the miso ramen. The wakame udon was very nice, with a savory, umami flavor. The miso was a nice quality and a stronger flavor. The atmosphere is very nice to talk and fosters nice conversations with quieter background music.

Right before our flight back home. Very good Japanese cuisine. In the photo is the chefs picks for sashimi. Being able to deliver this kind of fresh seafood and fish IN THE MIDDLE OF ROME is outstanding.

If you know anything about authentic ramen, then you know this place doesn’t have it. Think of the mediocre ramen place you back home, this is what it is. It’s great when you’re tired of eating Italian food and it’s a nice little break but it’s not going to be authentic or great.

Ristorante Giapponese Genkai

11/03/2026: Delicious food. Very quiet place. You don't have to wait long to eat. On weekdays, I recommend the Vento menu. It's a sort of personalized menu. For less than 15 euros, you can eat a lot and really well. Go there!
