18/05/2024: Exceptional Trattoria/Osteria on the outskirts of Udine: beautiful internal and external environment, very enjoyable garden, informal, large but very nice, excellent quality ingredients, cooked well and well served, portions of the right size: between the right amount and slightly abundant, personal courteous but also friendly, wide choice of wines. There were two of us: the chicken thigh was so good that it outclassed everything else, despite being very simple (I devoured it without even adding salt or pepper), tagliatelle with basil pesto sauce, asparagus and bacon... perfect . The place lends itself both to an aperitif, to a midweek lunch (there is also a set menu), and to a romantic dinner. In some sections of the garden, the canal flows near the tables, it is magical to stay there and let yourself be lulled by the sound of the flowing water. Conclusion: highly recommended and ... we will be back!!

15/05/2024: I went with a friend, around 6pm on a weekday. We decided, given the wonderful sunny day, to sit outside. Two tables and chairs were damaged by ants, which shows the lack of care given to the furnishings and to the customers. The tasting was in line with the reception. Canapés with low quality bread (it would be enough for the bread to be heated to enhance the cured meats, or cold but of excellent quality). Not having enough, we ordered some frico. The frico was visibly burnt to a uniform level, dry and almost tasteless. Overall, the food was terrible while the glasses of wine, the schiopettino and the refosco were very good.

02/06/2024: Excellent pizzas for those who appreciate the "high crust" type and this must be clarified because there are very different schools of thought and this is an important discriminant, but for me, it is one of the favorite places when I look for the taste and aroma of Neapolitan pizza . I also really liked the catering part. Unfortunately the internal space is limited, in the summer the capacity increases thanks to the external space and also a reason for attraction given that it is in a beautiful square in the center. For the weekend it is mandatory to book in advance. The staff is friendly, but sometimes you have to be patient as it is a very popular destination.

01/06/2024: If you want to eat exceptional pizzas, you should dine here. Never had such a tasty, soft pizza dough. Very high quality ingredients and types of pizza you've never heard of. Of course it has its price, but we would come here again. Service staff very nice and multilingual. Great room in the basement, in the summer you eat on the piazza.

19/05/2024: I was there for lunch, the restaurant was quite full, but the service was fast and friendly, the chosen dish was well prepared and the price was right (Picanha steak) a little higher than the cover price in my opinion, but now I see that almost everyone plays it, in the restaurant there are several signed and unsigned football shirts, some are framed which always makes a great effect. Even those who had a seafood dish were satisfied.

07/04/2024: It's called "Japan" but it's Chinese. Food and prices in line with other restaurants in the area. Slow service perhaps not adequate for the number of customers present. The waitress forgot the requests and had to continually ask for the same thing (wasabi), her colleague had to work for two. I don't think I will go back.

14/10/2023: Gelateria Cuore di Panna in Udine unquestionably became our favorite ice cream shop in Italy. My favourite ice cream flavour at Cuore di Panna in Udine is mascarpone and figs. It is delicious, with large chunks of real figs. The light and velvety cream flavor and smoothness of the mascarpone, the sweetness of the fig spread along with the fruit chunks make not only the flavor but also the texture of this ice cream something to crave for. You can get this ice cream flavor all around Italy, but in my opinion this is where they make it the best.

29/03/2024: There seemed to be a lot of aperitif customers, but when we asked for a meal, they warmly welcomed us. I had red radicchio and gorgonzola lasagna and frico, a traditional Friuli dish, accompanied by house red wine. It used a lot of cheese and was very delicious and satisfying. I'm dreading stepping on the scale tomorrow. The young employee who served us was very kind and gentlemanly.

17/03/2024: Dinner with friends. Very bad experience: in the lasagna there was a 2cm splinter of glass which caused a bloody cut on my tongue. After reporting the managers' only concern was to justify themselves by saying that they bought the food packaged by another company and therefore it was not their fault. Defensive attitude for an episode that could have had serious consequences but fortunately, so far, limited damage. While my friends and I worried about the fact that I might have ingested other fragments, they showed me the packaging of the dishes that were served heated in the microwave. This too is not exactly something that does him credit... After which they all disappeared from the room. Total disinterest in the injury I had sustained as well as missed dinner. A little empathy was the minimum required. And finally, apart from my plate, bill paid... We will never go back again.

04/06/2024: I went there for dinner because it was listed in an article on typical places in Udine, but in reality it had very few typical dishes and I found them less well looked after than in other taverns in the city. We were not bad but without infamy and without praise; the same goes for the service, quite efficient but no empathy. Prices are not high.

25/05/2024: Very simple but friendly restaurant. The menu is rather small, but all local dishes and ingredients. The staff is very friendly and very quick. The restaurant is simply and rustically furnished, very typical of an Osteria.

31/03/2024: Got takeaway menu. Quick service, large menu with good prices. Very good Daal Tadka with very soft lentils. Biryani not very rich but the rice was cooked well. Pakora was not charred. The menu indicates the offer of gluten-free dishes but they are not highlighted inside.

19/03/2024: Well done!! From every point of view! attention to the customer, simplicity and polite kindness. Well willing to inform the inexperienced customer to learn about new flavours, the dishes we took (recommended by them), really balanced without being spicy. They have little familiarity with the language and we understand each other better in English, which is why we didn't understand each other on the phone and we arrived at the restaurant with a disabled person in an electric wheelchair. Faced with our amazement at the inaccessibility of the place, they quickly mobilized and three of them lifted the wheelchair (180 kg) and we were able to enjoy the atmosphere and the Indian food. Fair prices and good Kamasutra beer. Recommended❗

13/05/2024: Experience that evaluates (for food) only the pizza, which is the only thing I ate. I took two pizzas (for two) a low one, which for my personal taste I didn't like, and a medium one which I instead appreciated. Almost perfect cooking, slightly ahead of the low one, neither of them burnt. Normal dough, pizza more similar to a Roman pizza, in terms of dough and cooking, than to Neapolitan pizza. Good yes, perfect I don't know. Would I go back? Surely. I really liked the place Fast service, but it was lunch time.

It was almost empty and suddenly it was full of people The dealing was professional and excellent They speak Italian but understand you in English the demand / Thin Margherita pizza / the dough is normal, but the sauce and cheese are amazing The pizza they bring to you uncut and you cut it yourself Pasta with tomato sauce / type of pasta, sweet and slightly strong, not cooked, the sauce and cheese are very delicious. Cola drink: There are two sizes, medium and large, and they put it in a cup for you The place has many parking lots There are many tables The service was fast and excellent Prices are reasonable but a little high I recommend it and will return to it It is a lovely place and food.. I really liked the sause and the cheese.. the employees were friendly and very nice, She told us about anything that has Pork or Ham.. I ordered/ Margherita pizza Pasta It was a delicious and yummy.. I recommend it

20/05/2024: One of those excellent taverns typical of UD. Hospitality and good food characterize them, and this one is no different. Although outside the historic center, along one of the busiest streets, it also lends itself very well to work opportunities. Specialties are the meat-based dishes and the rich cellar. There is no shortage of fish-based options.

01/05/2024: We went by chance, we drink two aperitifs, they don't bring two chips, we ask for two canapés with raw meat, we get two bruschettoni for 6 euros each! Ok good for goodness sake, but I only wanted two canapés as requested, a clever ploy to cheat customers? Two spritzes and two canapés 20 euros! Absurd
