I've known this restaurant/bar for years and always enjoy visiting it, either with friends for lunch or dinner. The food is simple, but incredibly good. The staff is very friendly, the prices are wonderfully reasonable, and the ambiance is wonderfully typical of Italy. It's also great as an open-air bar: enjoy an aperitivo on the street in front of the restaurant in the warm summer air. Italian flair—what more could you ask for?

I've been choosing this restaurant for aperitifs for years, but on Wednesday I was disappointed, not to mention the fact that the glass of wine tasted terrible. I asked for a pepper tartine, and I received two tartines: one plain with vegetables like chard, and one with a cherry tomato and pancetta. Amen, I paid for both. I asked for a sauvignon, and I received a cabernet sauvignon... I'm sorry, I'm very disappointed.
