13/08/2024: It's the second time I've come here and the pizza is the best in the world

13/08/2024: sometimes I think that we continue to come to the beautiful Forni di Sopra for this very modern and warm place and for its wonderful pizzas, offered by a staff who really knows how to do their difficult job. When we want to stay at home we come here....... and certain experiments by Accettura, the sexy chef, make us lose our minds.

17/07/2024: We arrived at this tavern by chance and it was a wonderful surprise. Informal and family style environment. The menu is a mix of local and Molise cuisine with excellent fish options too. Interesting and unique dishes. We had the aubergine meatballs, the cod croquettes and the pappardelle with duck and truffle sauce. Everything excellent. Next time we want to try the fish cuisine. Chef Giuseppe's hospitality is top!

12/08/2024: Excellent Aperol Spritz, more than fair price, €4 with appetizers. Hot peach strudel and homemade apple pie. Excellent

13/07/2024: Simply delicious. The best bakery bar, overlooking the mountains, boasts the best location. Good beer, Hugo too, courteous and kind waiter and sunbeds to rest on... what better could you ask for? Mandatory stop. Too bad we can't eat for dinner too.

29/08/2024: Nice climate suitable for the country. You drink and eat very well, away from the busiest street.

17/08/2024: The ancient Osteria La Speranza is a guarantee. Every time we pass through Forni di Sopra, we stop for a tasty dinner. Informal environment, good value for money. Seasonal dishes.

16/08/2024: Disorganized staff we ate a sandwich with cold cuts and a coke paying 11 euros excessive price for a sandwich with cold cuts the sandwich was excellent but the price and waiting time from when we arrived to when we waited at the checkout were excessive

14/08/2024: Stopping at Varmost at Raul's is like eating with family or a friend from Forno who wants to pamper you in the midst of this stupendous and unique panorama of the Carnic Dolomites: frico, polenta and sausage, gnocchi with venison ragout or melted butter with smoked ricotta, cjarsons and other typical local dishes. Without forgetting the evening pizza with various mountain flavours. A typical moment of relaxation for those staying in Forni di Sopra or a stopover for travelers passing through...... and bon appetit for those who stop by

07/08/2024: I recommend this chicken cut, very good!! Don't expect the usual grilled chicken breast but rather a soft meat resulting from low temperature cooking. If you pass through Forni di sopra, stop at the cella cicchetteria bar, Alice and Roberto will surprise you with local delicacies from morning until evening!

25/08/2024: I've been going back for years because in addition to the beautiful place and the welcoming staff, the dishes are nothing short of exceptional...polenta and fridge absolutely worth trying...excellent prices...booking is recommended, it's always very popular. I returned again this year... all like the previous review. The only thing that "struck" me is the increase in prices which, if up until previous years were affordable, are now a bit too high in my humble opinion (at least since the last time I was there). I understand that everything costs more, but almost 50 euros each for two courses and the drinks seem a little high to me despite the high quality of the dishes... it's a shame because right now it comes out of my family budget being the only worker in the family
