A pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is well-kept, the staff young and courteous. Finally, we can eat something different, yet still rooted in traditional Friulian cuisine. Congratulations, guys, and keep up the quality and friendly service.

In the center of Forni di Sopra, a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and highly recommended food. The staff is kind and attentive. We had braised beef and venison stew, both tender and flavorful, and the desserts were also delicious.

A historic venue with authentic charm, featuring a warm and evocative atmosphere. It's well-maintained, clean, and incredibly welcoming: such a relaxing place that you'll want to stay for hours sipping a glass of wine in front of the fireplace. The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. You can clearly sense their passion for their work, and that truly makes the difference. The wine list is extensive and refined, with interesting options for all tastes, but the house wine is also surprisingly high-quality. There's also an excellent selection of truly special regional and craft beers. The menu is extraordinary: from the more rustic traditional dishes, like the "scudiela," to the more refined ones like the pepper filet... simply out of this world. The chef is undoubtedly one of the best you'll find in Carnia.

This lovely little restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I found it on Google maps when planning a visit to Forni di Sopra and discovered it had been recently rennovated by new owners. It has a lovely warm ambience and provides a modern twist on traditional local cuisine. We really enjoyed all the dishes we tried and I have to say, the fiochetti pasta with pear and a gorgonzola cream sauce was exquisite!

We booked quite randomly, but we had a great time. The place was welcoming, the food excellent, the portions just right, and the service friendly and attentive. I think we'll be back!
