08/01/2026: After a couple of years, I'm returning to a restaurant I loved...unfortunately, I find the prices not in line with the quality, and the service, while professional, is rather slow and sterile.
The passatelli is tasteless, the boiled meat is decent but not as exceptional as it once was. The cutlet Bolognese is nothing exciting, everything is passable but nothing enchanting. In some trattorias, you can eat better or the same but for at least half the price.
The wine list is nice, but with few accessible labels.
What a shame!
07/01/2026: This was our first time here, and I have to say it lived up to our expectations. Top-notch traditional cuisine. The chef and staff make the dinner a truly enjoyable experience. We ordered the lasagna with morels and tortellini in broth... truly excellent. Two traditional main courses: a cutlet Bolognese and a boiled meat trolley with various sauces, all truly excellent. We'll definitely be back, even though we live 300km away; luckily, the hotel is on the upper floors. Long live excellent traditional Italian cuisine!

Very friendly, fast, and helpful staff.
The menu features mostly classic Neapolitan pizzas, but also includes some dishes and a general selection of sweet and savory dishes from Campania cuisine.
The pizzas are well-prepared and flavorful, and you can taste the use of quality ingredients.
The pizza dough is Neapolitan, not contemporary, meaning the crust isn't too wide, but not too thin, like a cartwheel—just right.
The only difference I noticed is perhaps the use of higher hydration or oil in the dough, which makes the pizza tastier, almost like fried pizza, especially noticeable on the crust.
Overall, excellent pizza, certainly among the best in the Modena area and beyond.
The prices are very fair, and I absolutely recommend trying it.
04/12/2025: I go there every now and then to eat, and I have to say that I've tried everything they make, and it's all very good, top-quality products made really well, and what can I say about the pizza? It's delicious, it's not the classic Neapolitan pizza, it's soft. The products are excellent and the dough is well made. The people are polite and gentle, they have no arrogance, presumption, they are humble, hardworking and good people.

04/01/2026: A spacious, modernly furnished venue with close-knit tables and small, airy spaces. Unconventional, it features a highly original, former factory-style layout. The strong point is the craft beers, but the entire selection is varied, creative, and beautifully presented. Reasonable prices.
04/01/2026: They close the kitchen and coffee machine without telling the people at the table, leaving them without desserts and coffee. Very noisy place and poor service!
It's no longer the place it was years ago.

04/01/2026: A family-friendly and welcoming place! The staff, from top to bottom, were all friendly, helpful, and open to conversation! I won't write anything about the food because it was all delicious!
03/01/2026: I've been to this restaurant a couple of times, and overall, I really enjoyed it. Today, however, after I made a reservation over the phone for the same evening, they called me back saying the management system had crashed and they'd made a mistake. I find this truly unprofessional. A few nights ago in Basel, on the evening of December 26th, without a reservation, at one of the city's best restaurants, with people constantly asking for a table but not getting one, they managed to find us two excellent seats in 15 minutes. If they can do it in Basel, why can't they do it in Rubiera? Be careful, you're losing customers. I'll think twice before recommending it again.

16/11/2025: A very bad experience, anything but a Japanese restaurant. The menu was decidedly poor, service was slow and poor, food was poor quality, and the mini sandwiches were awful. You can order four dishes per person every 10 minutes (with restrictions on certain dishes). Needless to say, it doesn't work, as after the first half hour, none of my dishes arrived.
Highly not recommended.

04/01/2026: A refined restaurant with excellently executed traditional dishes, and an excellent wine list. What ruined the whole experience was the final episode: when paying (let me start by saying this was a table of nine), the waiter, without showing us the bill, told us that it was €70 per person for cash and €76 for debit cards (for a supposed discount since we didn't have a bill, so much so that I initially thought it was a joke). However, at the cash register, both rates were actually applied. When I complained about the somewhat "inelegant" nature of the situation, I was told that for them, "invoicing or not makes too much of a difference," and the friendly waiter even told me, "So next time you can bring cash." Honestly, this kind of attitude (for €6 and a table paying over €600) is unacceptable (and even illegal) in a restaurant like this.
28/12/2025: Very nice atmosphere. Average food. But the service was poor. There were seven of us; we asked for polenta, 1 gorgonzola, 1 prosciutto, and 1 crostoni. They delivered 1 polenta, 1 gorgonzola, 4 prosciuttos, and 4 crostoni. To avoid a mess, we kept them, but obviously no one was hungry afterward. At 1:30 PM, I politely asked if they could hold up my first course, which was gnocchi. They replied that it wasn't possible because they were already bringing it. Too bad they arrived at 2.
The little girl with us is celiac, so she could only eat her tagliatelle with meat sauce. They were served at 2. The little girl sat at the table from 12:45 to 2:00 without being able to eat anything. It didn't take long to wolf down the tagliatelle with our appetizers. Too bad the location was very beautiful. The bill: a bit expensive.
1 starter and 1 first course per person, 2 bottles of wine at €28 each (to be shared by 7), no desserts, only 1 coffee and 3 liqueurs €54 per person

23/12/2025: Personally, an excellent restaurant. The risotto was slightly subpar, but the main course was spectacular.
The dessert tasted homemade, and the wine was excellent.
Impeccable service and extremely friendly staff.
The price was definitely low compared to what we received.
