05/12/2024: I'm from Milan, I often ride my motorbike and I ended up here by chance. I had heard about this restaurant from a chef friend of mine while I was in Pescara in Abruzzo. Totally at random, one day I end up with friends in these areas and discover that they have booked right there. The place is of a very high standard, welcoming, indeed very beautiful and also very clean. I discover that they have had a Michelin star for generations. Attention is present in all the details, perhaps only the bathrooms deserve more attention but they are fine even so, in the end you go there to eat there. I spent less than I would have thought and what can I say, I ate like God, typical cuisine executed to perfection, try the boiled meat and also the pear with eggnog, divine. I will definitely come back

23/11/2024: Ritornare in questo bel forte medievale dopo il cambio di gestione mi ha lasciato piacevolmente sorpreso. Innanzitutto uno stupefacente restauro degli ambienti ed una nuova organizzazione degli ambienti. E soprattutto il cibo, protagoniste sono le eccellenze locali come già in precedenza, ma ancora più nobilitate e ricercate. Gli affettati (mortadella e culaccia sopra tutti) basterebbero a saziare gli appetiti più esigenti. Poi se siete anche golosi non perdetevi i plin d'anatra arrosto. Vogliamo poi parlare della carne o dei dolci..? Eccellente!

Da segnalare Cappasanta con broccoli sala olà Dea e e tartufo nero: equilibrata e indimenticabile Erbazzome: magistrale Midollo tonnato e tartare con caviale: esperienza fantastica Ganassini: delicatissimi Carrello dei formaggi; super, da segnalare la preparazione della maitre a fromage Piccola pasticceria molto buona Cantina notevole Lo chef sa cogliere l essenza e propone piatti che esaltano ingredienti e ricette della tradizione emiliana, rivisitati con freschezza di idee dalla grande creatività. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca uno stellato nuovo

11/04/2024: It's a shame we can only assign 5 stars, I would have given more! Super tasty lunch break. Excellent first and second courses, excellent quality and cooked to perfection. Menu with nice choice, pasta, meat, fish and vegetables. The glass of Falanghina is also excellent. Excellent quality/price ratio. The staff is very kind and attentive. Well done!

03/11/2024: We were there for the second time in a short time and the place did not disappoint expectations, I tried a first course off the menu, risotto with broccoli and chilli jam which was mouth-watering!!! The drunken tagliatelle chosen by my children were exceptional and the rosettes taken by my wife were also excellent... Even the desserts and liqueurs, all made by them, were truly delicious... All we have to do is compliment them and go back.

01/11/2024: Excellent food and refined combinations, the staff is exquisite and offers you all the goodness of the place at zero km. To return! Animals are also a great attraction for children

07/08/2024: The best pizza in Reggio and its province. Family run, winning team. Mena is adorable, I book via WhatsApp and they reply almost immediately. Quality and seasonal ingredients. Now closed for holidays, we miss it.
