07/06/2026: Among the restaurants housed in characteristic country farmhouses, I'd give Cavaliere a spot on the podium.
Welcome to the owner's courtesy and friendliness, we begin with a superb platter of cured meats accompanied by classic gnocco fritto and erbazzone bites. Next up are two first-class first courses: tagliatelle and truffle risotto, followed by the tender tagliata, cooked to perfection.
We conclude with a refreshing tiramisu, a culinary experience we hope to repeat soon.

Few tables and zero noise because of the noise-insulated ceiling. Great value for money. Must go!

31/05/2026: Very fair prices (first courses €5 and second courses with side dishes €7). I had a special first course for €9, plus second course/side dish + dove + coffee + liqueur + 1/4 cup of wine + 1 liter of sparkling water, total €29. And it was all fresh and very good.

A place where you pay like a business lunch, with the quality of a restaurant and the abundance of a trattoria. €5 for a first course, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and above all, plentiful. €7 for a second course with a side dish, featuring Fassona, horse, or roast beef. If you like, you can wash it all down with an excellent chilled Lambrusco and a good coffee. In short, for about €15, you can have a lunch fit for a king.

03/06/2026: Everything was very positive, the only thing I didn't like was that the waiters started taking away the dirty dishes while you still had the last bite in your mouth and asked if you wanted anything else. Those who go out for dinner are looking for peace and quiet and at least not to be rushed on that occasion. Otherwise, everything was fine.

06/06/2026: A CULINARY GEM AT THE SLOPES OF OUR HILLS
I visited this restaurant three consecutive nights with about 30 friends from all over the world. Each evening had a themed dinner (traditional Reggio Emilia, featuring parmesan, tortelli, and fresh pasta), and every evening we had a wonderful dinner: the tortelli verdi and tortelli di zucca were especially exceptional. The owners and staff were extremely kind and professional, the restaurant was very welcoming, and the food, as mentioned, was excellent. The wine selection was also excellent. I will definitely repeat the experience.
01/06/2026: A beautifully situated restaurant in the countryside with a wide selection of local culinary delights and fine wines. The team is extremely hospitable and caters to every dietary requirement.

It's like being in a joke.
She's heavy and not at all suited to the role.
Having her do something else behind the counter ruins everything and leave her colleagues at the counter. Alice first and foremost: FANTASTIC!

12/05/2026: Since it changed ownership, it's become one of my favorite ice cream shops, and I can finally avoid leaving Montecchio for a good gelato. The staff is friendly, and the prices are absolutely reasonable. Highly recommended for both gelato and ice cream cakes!
